    Hello together,

for some time I have a problem during synchronization of my images (jpg) from my pc to my apple devices.

    Used equipment:

    -10 Windows x 64

-latest version of itunes (I tried the different)

    -iphone running ios 9.2 6s

Question from-->: several albums are not synchronized 100%, still a few missing images

-ipad running ios 3 version 8

question from-->: only 2500 images are synchronized - no more...

For these two questions, I ve already deleted the iPod Photo Cache several times, so stopped rebootet pc, itunes, etc. rebooted the iphone / ipad but always with the same result.

ITunes seems to calculate the exact amount of images that need to be synchronized, but somehow they aren't... couldn t find any question about the images themselves. All are genereated by using adobe lightroom with the same profile. Also missing photos are not the greatest, so I can't find something in common for the photos...

Advice or recommendations? Enjoy a type of media...

    THX.

OK at least for the timing issue with my iPhone 6 s, it seems I've found the problem, including a nice workaround...

When I tried to get it fixed I figured out that always the same images fail, so I removed all the images in sync and exported the images concerned with different types of settings from Lightroom... once I removed the metadata image could be synchronized again...

Don t ask me why he was working for all other images with exactly the same meta data, but somehow, it works as expected once the metadata has been removed...

rest the question with the ipad 3 - anyone any idea? is there a limit to 2500 images?

  • How to stop applications to sync on my iPhone when I sync my music from iTunes on my Mac to my iPhone?

How can I stop all applications that are in my iTunes to sync on my iPhone while I'm syncing my music from my iTunes on my Mac to my iPhone? He doesn't have a checkbox in the Apps section for not having ALL these apps to go back on my iPhone. Help! Now should I remove each app individually out of my iPhone?

    Hi there deg20,

Welcome to the communities of Apple Support! Looks like all the applications listed in iTunes to sync your iPhone while you move your music. I can understand wanting to be able to customize the content that is on your device. I'll be more than happy to help!

From what you describe, appears it option "automatically sync when this iPhone is connected" to be enabled. To activate which turns off, select the Summary tab and uncheck the box next to this feature. Once you have done this, you should be able to navigate between sections of content / media specific to choose what you want to synchronize with your device. After you apply these changes, it should appear on your iPhone. See the following article for advice on the content of sync on your iPhone:

Sync your iPhone, iPad or iPod touch with iTunes on your computer through a USB port

You should also ensure that you have enabled the option to manually manage content, as described in this article:

Sync your iPhone, iPad or iPod touch with iTunes on your computer through a USB port

If you don't manually add or remove content from your device

Check the option "Manually manage music and videos" is turned on:

    1. Connect your device to your computer.
    2. Open iTunes. Make sure you have the latest version.
    3. Locate and click on your device.
    4. In the left sidebar, click summary.
    5. Scroll down to the Options section.
    6. Check the "Manually manage music and videos."
    7. Click on apply.

You might see a message that your device is synchronized with another library. This means that you used another computer to sync your device in the past, and iTunes cannot sync without erasing first and replace everything iTunes on your device.

    Relax your day fantastic!

  • IPod Classic (and iTunes library) from Windows to Mac

Hey ppl, can someone help me with this one?
My iPod Classic was initially connected to a PC, because I didn't have a Mac at the time. But I an and for a long time, and now I'm about to get a second.
I was put in place with the PC mostly because my iTunes library has nearly 500 stored cd and I use my iMac only for work, I didn't want to fill his 500 GB drive with iTunes library. But now that I'm about to take my work to a new Mac, I thought that it was time to move my iTunes library to Mac, and I did it with the help of an external hard drive.

Now, everything is ok with iTunes on Mac all the CDs and the works of art and library moved nicely.

But when I connected the iPod it syncs ok, but does not receive a new cd that I just uploaded on the Mac.

I have noticed that an already existing CD which I modified the work on the Mac, sync ok for the iPod, but not the new CD. The CD is an original, not a copy.
I think it has to do with the iPod having been registered to another computer. I allow them the Mac, but still the CD is not transferred to the iPod.
I want to get rid of my PC, but I need the iPod to work with the Mac.
Can someone tell me what I'm missing, or doing wrong?
    Thank you

I had checked the discussions over and over again before posting the question and do not find an answer, and now after posting the question, I found what solved my problem - iPod sync fine with the Mac. (to goodbye PC)

"Kenichi Watanabe 26 February 2016 06:04 Re: Ipod connects to itunes, but does not synchronize "
    in reply to Umphreys21

OK, that's fine.  So, just what is currently on the iPod is already in your new library iTunes, correct?

When you start with a new iTunes library and add your existing content, the iPod sees it as a new iTunes library, not the old one that was previously used to synchronize the iPod.  The partners from iPod to your new iTunes library and the Tower WE Auto Sync, follow these steps...

Select the iPod in iTunes (click on its button on the device on the horizontal bar) to display the parameters of the iPod in the iTunes window.  The side left (in the sidebar), under settings, click music.  Settings of music from the iPod screen is shown at right.

NOTE: All iPod songs that are not in your iTunes library will be lost.

Check the box to Sync music.  This turns ON Auto Sync (and associate the iPod to your new iTunes library).  If your library complete iTunes music can fit on iPod, choose the option to synchronize the entire music library.  Click apply.

On a separate note, since you started with a new iTunes library, you have added all your content to your backup, but you probably do not have the additional data (such as playlists, ratings, play head, date added, etc.).  Depending on how you have saved your iTunes data, it may be possible to restore your full (not only your media) iTunes library.  You need to be good with the help of your new iTunes library, but if you want more information, thanks for posting back. »

    So thanks Kenichi Watanabe

  • How to sync iBooks (not iBook store) from mac to iPhone?

I'm on El Capitan on my macbook pro and synced just non iBook store books from my iPad to my Macbook Pro, but I also want on my iPhone. Does anyone know how to do this. I know that you can not synchronize ePub purchases using iCloud to other devices then I tried via a USB port.

    Any help would be appreciated.

You copied them from your iPad to iTunes on your Mac using file > devices > transfer purchases, and then also did you file > move books of iTunes, the iBooks app on your Mac to move him? If you have, then connect the phone to your Mac iTunes and they should show on the tab "books" in iTunes to select and sync for her

  • photos synced from itunes will be deleted

This has probably been discussed ad nauseum, but here again once.

I'm trying to consolidate all of my wifes photos and download them on icloud with icloud photo library

    his pictures are on

1 Windows PC running Windows 10

    2 iPhone 5

    3. goofy old iPad 2

2 and 3. software update are wise.

I previously did essentially the same thing on my iphone/Macbook with no problems, but this time we want to just spend all her photos to icloud and just would have future pictures synced to the iphone and ipad.

Of course, when I activate icloud photo library on the ipad, we get that notorious "Photos synced from itunes will be deleted. any idea of how best to proceed with this? Of course, I like to keep the photos that it says will be removed, but im scratching my head as to what measures come ensuites. I do not want to use Windows as an intermediate storage area, (although I will if I have to) but I am a bit confused about the sequence of steps to allow the pictures marked for death to be saved, then re-uploaded.

I know that this issue has been hashed several times before, but I have problems to synthesize all the proposed solutions, I found there and decide on one to use.

    Thank you people!

    Steve

If you have photos that have been synced from iTunes, then not have you pictures on the computer running iTunes for them to be synchronized in the first place.

Have a new 6s, but cannot get it to sync with iTunes on my Mac. Both systems have system updates (and confirm the latest version). How can I update iTunes on my phone when he said the latest version?

The message to update iTunes refers to iTunes on your Mac - is your Mac on a high enough version of Mac OS X to support the required iTunes version? If this isn't the case, then your Mac can be changed?

  • Smartphones from blackBerry Curve 8330 sync with Mac

I just bought my Blackberry Curve and it is not sync with Mac pocket... is there a solution for mac users?

If you have one of the new fast devices, you may need to use a patch.  It is not a problem with your device: it is just that the connection software has been changed AFTER the last program of PocketMac has been published.  A new is put to the test, but for the moment, there is a patch to connect to your new devices.  There is a special way to install it on top of the regular program of PocketMac, so just follow these steps and you should be able to connect:

Is there a solution for this. First of all, go to the download page: http://na.blackberry.com/eng/services/desktop/mac.jsp

and start the download process. When you move to the download screen, select PocketMac V4.0.20b for BlackBerry. Then, on the next screen, you have two choices of program to download.

You've probably already downloaded the first one under the heading "PocketMac V4.0.20b for BlackBerry." If you have deleted it, go ahead and download again.

Since you have one of the newer devices (like the 8110, 8120, 8130, 8310 or 8330), you may also need to download the patch that allows to connect you to those as well. This patch is on the same page, the section, "PocketMac Driver update - DriverUpdate.dmg."

    TO INSTALL:
1 IMPORTANT: Disconnect your BlackBerry from your Macintosh.
    2. If you have uninstalled PocketMac for BlackBerry, reinstall the main program now.
    3. when the Setup program has finished, you will be asked to reboot. DO NOT CLICK on the button to restart.
    4. install the driver update file please, this installer will finish very quickly.
    5. Finally, restart the Macintosh, now that the software driver and application updater installers are completed.

Once restart is completed, please launch PocketMac for Blackberry, then plug-in your BlackBerry handheld. Click the sync button to start the synchronization session.

If you can still can connect, here are a few steps you can perform to ensure that the new patch is installed correctly:

    1. Please disconnect your BlackBerry and account up to 60 seconds. This allows for the
driver for completely free. (Probably, the pilot was not out there the last time you tried to install the patch, if it has not installed correctly.)

    2. Please open Finder and navigate to the following location: MacintoshHD/System/Library/Extensions /.

    3. in the "Extensions" folder, you will see a list of .kext files. Scroll down the long list and locate the two files that begin with «BlackBerry» files

    4. Please remove these two files from your Mac: 'BlackBerry.kext' and 'BlackBerryUSBDev.kext '. You will need your administrator password Apple user account to delete these files in the Extensions folder. After in this case, empty your trash, please.

6 reinstall the driver. When you finish the program installation/driver package, please reboot your Macintosh.

    7. Finally, plug your BlackBerry handheld, then launch PocketMac for BlackBerry. PocketMac Sync Manager should now be able to find your BlackBerry.

  • notes from the iPhone will not sync for Mac

I use iCloud-based limited - find my iPhone, iCloud Drive, reminders, Notes, and news. Settings for iCloud shows these three elements under tension. Unfortunately, Notes does not sync to Mac now or never. Settings for iCloud shows that the Mac and the iPhone are connected to iCloud. I don't know if new is sync for iCloud, as there is no icon for it on the web page of iCloud.

In settings iCoud on the Mac, it is not a single entry in notes even if there are 15 different notes on the phone which are changed daily on the lists. On the phone, there is a 0 for the notes in iCloud.

As far as I know, Notes should work, but I can't say what the problem is.

In settings > Notes "on my iPad" - account checked or not?

  • I can't synchronize my new iphone 7 with itunes on my mac (OSX)

I have an old MAC, which synced fine with my iphone 5, but my new 7 used to synchronize itunes - when I connect with cord, computer tells me phone will not allow connection - phone to ask if trust peripheral, I say trust, but failed to get the two to cooperate!

This is why you cannot synchronize now.

  • Update IOS 10 effect my itunes sync?

My update IOS 10 of my Ipad 4 last week went well.  Everything seems to be good except a shorter battery life.

Then I tried to connect my Ipad 4 to itunes (12.2.2.15) on my older Imac (OS 10.7.5).  No luck.  Got the "'an invalid response from the device" notice. "  My report on my imac USB system lists my Ipad 4 therefore it is detected by the OSX but no ipad icon present in itunes.   The previous operating system on my imac 10.7.5 worked very well and was interacting smoothly with my Ipad 9.3.4 until the upgrade.

Well, I tried everything suggested--(câbles, ports USB, OFF/ON lance, logiciel de sécurité enlevé, enlevant les éléments lockdown.plist, etc.).  No solution.

Someone wrote that the new IOS 10 requires much more OSX and Itunes software to operate.  Anyone know if this is true?  Maybe I spent hours troubleshooting something that cannot be corrected with the imac & bones 10.7.5.  Unfortunately, I'm at my physical limits.    If so, I wanted to of course that this limitation was mentioned by Apple.

I'm now trying to find a way to downgrade to 9.3.4 with the hope that all these worries will disappear.   Nothing else has worked.  Not so easy to do even this downgrade without my ipad in itunes.

Does anyone else have this problem too?  Any suggestions / solutions?

    iOS10 requires iTunes 12.5

If you can not install this then Yes, it will not work your iTunes sync

  • Transfer iTunes PC to MAC (HDD)

    Hi all

I'm about to switch from PC to Mac Book Pro and want to make sure I have properly transferring my Itunes library and all associated content.

The Itunes folder and the content is currently in a portable, set state page correct etc on a USB key given the size. The USB is formatted for PC and Mac.

Then I go Mac, I plug the key USB etc before I run itunes for the first time, etc. Where can I go from here and how do I load my library, set preferences etc.?

The plan is for all content to stay on the USB drive and for the ITunes folder also stay in this place and not forwarded to the folder music on Mac.

Appreciate your help and advice from the people.

    Simon.

Launch iTunes and sign in with your Apple ID etc.

The default location for the music from iTunes on your mac's Finder/music/iTunes/iTunes media / Music

Then plug in the drive, copy the music you want on your Mac for this folder and they will appear on iTunes.

You can also drag the directly to the window of the main music from iTunes. But referring to the location of the folder is useful if you are confused. Hope that helps.

Try to reset the App Store:

Close the App Store completely from the window of the selector app by double clicking the Home button and slide up the App Store preview pane until it disappears from the display. Then sign out of the iTunes Store (in the settings).

Then perform a forced reboot. Hold down the Home and Sleep/Wake buttons simultaneously for about 15-20 seconds, until the Apple logo appears.

Then reconnect to the iTunes Store.

Also try by going to settings > general > Restrictions > and make sure that iTunes Store, Apps install, delete the Apps and In - App purchases are all under the section allow. Try to install again.

  • Delete some photos from mac but not iCloud

If I unlink my mac from iCloud, then delete photos and videos of mac to free up storage capacity without deleting icloud?

Open system preferences, and then select the iCloud. On the tab, you will see a check mark next to Photos. Click on the check mark to uncheck the box and you will be asked if you want to remove photos from your Mac. Say Yes. The photos remain in the cloud.
