J4680 all in a fake phone number

Hello. I've just moved house, got a new phone number and set up my printer today to find on my test of fax, that he gives me my old phone number, not my other.

Someone know how to fix this problem, please I need to send faxes and doesn't want to go with them a wrong number.

I looked in the help of fax machine manual, and there is nothing about it.

Thanks in advance.

For some reason, the configuration information are not in the Fax getting started Guide, but it's on, pages 55 and 56 of the Guide of the user here, who said:

Configure the fax header
The fax header print your name and fax number on the top of every fax you send. HP recommends that you configure the fax header by using the software you installed with the device. You can also configure the fax header in the device control panel, as described here.
NOTE: In some countries / regions, the fax header information are a legalrequirement.

To set or change the fax header

1. press Setup.
2. press the right arrow key to select fax settings, and press OK.
3. press the right arrow key to select Fax header and press OK.
4. Enter your personal data and company names using the keypad, then press OK.
5. Enter your fax number using the numeric keypad and press OK.

  • How is - can someone use my phone number girls call me?

The other day I received 3 different calls that all of my girls phone number. I couldn't hear anything else first and then the 2nd and 3rd calls I heard children in the background. My first thought was that children played on his phone. Then, I received a facetime from him. When I answered the facetime call, I heard... "" Oh my gosh it works. ' and they hung up again. " So I facetimed my number back girls and responded to this girl that I have ever seen. She was probably in grade 8 or 9 and there were children laughing at him in the background. I could tell they were in school. She would not say a lot to me and then just hung on me. After that when I tried to call my daughter there was no response. So I called AT & T and they said that children have an application on their phone to do this kind of thing. So I hung up AT & T and sent him a text message telling him to stop. Then I get a text from her mother and they live downstate me!. Does anyone know how she did it? I want to assure you that my daughter knows what to look for on the phones of his children. Scared the bejeebies out of me.

Do I lose all the iMessages that have not been delivered to my iphone if I withdraw (from iMessage) my phone number? My current iphone is broken and I am planing to get a new one in a few months.

You may lose everything.  iMessage, like most e-mail services, don't keep permanently undeliverable messages.  They only keep in the short period send queue (I don't know exactly how much time but some Apple tech sites indicate no more than 10 days to two weeks) until they are purged.  That's pretty standard as otherwise, large volume, messaging services would be sitting on tera-bytes of messages not delivered each month.

You actually have to change my phone number?  If not, let alone sign and only in iMessage when you have the new phone with this set of numbers upward to the service.

It's absolutely a scam!  No company like Microsoft, Apple, Dell or anyone else call you for any reason unless you call them.

There's a certain phone scams going on right now and if you have the caller ID, just look at the display and if you see "Microsoft" or if it is "Private" and that the appellant represents a computer company, ignore the call.

There are web sites that publish the fake pop-up messages indicating that your computer has problems and a scanner.  NEVER, NEVER, NEVER, cela!

Windows 8/8.1 already has an anti-virus/anti-spyware program (Windows Defender) If you are not using anything else and it will cover you.  I tested Microsoft Security Essentials (now called Windows Defender in Windows 8) for about three years and sometimes, if you get a web page infected, the web page is displayed as an empty and your web browser automatically updates your home page with a warning displayed.  It does not work.

If you get a pop-up message that stays on the screen as mentioned previously, DO NOT click on it.  Press CTRL + ALT + DEL and bring up the Task Manager and close all programs that appear as running.  You can see the web browser nearby.  Then you can close the Task Manager and open IE and if he asks me to restore your last session, say NO and go to the home page.  You'll be fine right there.  The pop ups are called "diversions" and locks your system.

Windows 8/8.1 will clean and optimize itself if you let on and intact for about 5 minutes.  You will see the 'Flag' icon change a flag with a clock which means that it runs Windows updates, disk cleanup, Disk Defrag, and update/analysis of Windows Defender itself.  You don't have to do anything.

  • Phone number for iPad

So I use to have an iPhone but had to switch to Android and get a new number. The Apple, I ID currently is one I had on my old iphone. Now I'm getting an iPad and I was wondering if I could still register my number on it and send messages or facetime people who can iMessage or Facetime? ID use a Wi - Fi connection all the time on it.

IM really hoping that I can because it would be nice to keep in touch with a friend who is moving to Texas, my sister and nephews.

You do not need to use the phone number to send iMessages or use FaceTime, you can use your Apple ID.

  • An another name/phone number

    Hello!

Lately, when I tried iMessaging father, non-iPhone from my friend mobile number appears.

Why is it so? And how can I solve this problem? Accidentally press some buttons wrong?

Please help, because my friend gets my messages instead of my father, who is supposed to receive.

Welcome to Apple Support communities, dia87!

It seems that iMessages you send to your dad go instead to the phone number of a friend. I would like to be sure that my messages were going to the right person as well so I'll be happy to help you!

The first thing to check is Contact information for your dad - Contacts at a glance - make sure that the information on the card is correct. If this is not the case, press "Edit" in the upper right corner and make the corrections. If your using iCloud to synchronize your contacts, this will update all information of your device.

You can also test that the App is the message correctly by clicking on the Messages icon. Also check the information of your friend to make sure that their phone number or ID has not been replicated on the contact card for your dad.

If you do not use iCloud to synchronize your contacts with devices go to settings > Mail Contacts calendar on your phone and your comment where you draw your contacts from. You should see the word 'Contacts' under all accounts used. Check the accounts coordinated for your Dad or a friend to make sure that the information is correct.

    Take care!

ICloud Keychain how can I change the phone number needed to verify the code text for me? The number it was sent is an old phone number of my friends that I do not have access to the.

Try this from another thread I saw.

On iOS, go to settings > iCloud > keychain and tap button to disable iCloud keychain. (you will be asked to delete or keep the passwords on device) I chose to delete...

Then turn it back on, and pop - up chose reset iCloud trousseau, on a chosen pop-up confirmation reset

In the new window pop up use iPhone password like iCloud cryptogram? has chosen the use code

Enter your secret code (4 digits) then choose country and your new phone number

Although, to "Restore the iCloud Keychain," I took to erase the data and essentially set up a new keychain.  Not the case.  Strangely, after essentially bypassing the security system, setting a new password and verification number, I see my cards, passwords and other data have been restored.  Maybe it's all the iCloud account and this master password.  Or maybe it's a bug.  With Apple, we'll never know.

  • Remove phone number of iMessage

    Hi all

I enabled iMessage on my Apple ID, that I use on my iPhone and my Macbook Pro. I added my mobile number to my Apple ID.

I configured iMessage on my Macbook so I can only be reached on iMessage via my Apple ID address. I want to implement iMessage on my iPhone in the same way, so that I can only be reached through iMessage on my iPhone using my Apple ID email address. However, I can't delete my cell phone (settings > Messages > Send and receive) because it is grayed and checked by default. I'm only new conversations iMessage on my iPhone with my Apple ID email address.

Any ideas on how I can avoid being reached on my cell phone on iMessage on my iPhone? Support the Apple docs say I have to remove my phone number from my Apple ID, but I won't do that because I 2FA activated on this number.

    Thanks for your help!

    iPhone 5, iOS 9.3.2

    MacBook Pro mid-2010, OS X 10.11.1

    Basically, you can't.

  • iMessage trying to activate a bad phone. number - gray.

    Hello.

I just moved to a new country and I plug a new line of mobile phone.

I have configured the phone, he updated the parameters of the carrier and all looks great, until I checked iMessage and FaceTime.

    Here's the question:

The phone attempts to assets using the old number. The number is gray and it has the rotating circular symbol.

Is there a way to remove this activation number?

I have already changed the number from phone to phone, changed the password from iCloud, signed by all browsers, hard reset phones and Im still not able to change activation number to activate, activate using the Apple ID.

Please let me know if you need any additional info.

    I'd appreciate any help.

    Thank you.

Phone number that iMessage tries to activate depending on the SIM card. You need to disconnect from the iMessage, if you did not before you put the new SIM card in the phone, or if you door your number for a new carrier, you will need to wait until it's finished before trying to activate iMessage. Also, if you do not use a supported carrier, they could block the activation SMS. You should check with them to make sure they support iMessage activation and you have a SMS account with the carrier. They can answer these questions.

  • How to check if the mobile/cell the same phone number is registered on the different apple ID?

    Hello

Is it possible to have the same number of mobile/cell phone with several Apple ID?

If Yes, is it possible to check if the number is connected to several Apple ID? and how it can be removed?

When I changed my job, I got a new cell phone number.

I disconnected all my devices and removed my old number of my Apple ID, after that, I added my new number to my Apple ID and connected to my devices (iPhone, iPad and MacBook Air).

The thing is that the person who had my new phone number previously, had the same phone number, added to their Apple ID.

I get time iMessage and FaceTime applications contact the previous owner of my phone number.

Even if it's annoying that I don't really like, I just block the numbers I don't recognize.

But my big question is, if my friends iMessage and FaceTime applications for my new phone number can be found at the i-devices previous holders?

I hope it's understandable - because it feels like a security risk.
