jar files for access to desktop files

Can make a jar file on the Office Access files? Points of view. Try to have the swing application read a configuration file on the user's desktop. Jar files to spreads using Java Web Start.

Thank you

cardan2 wrote:
This isn't. The Office is part of the user's environment and so you should have no problem reading files from him (with the remark that it is the desktop of the user who actually starts the application of course!).

Sorry, but the JNLP Security Manager prevents access to the office unless the whole of the JNLP application is signed.

But what you don't know, this is the path to the office, it's OS and probably the specific language.

But think about it: reading a file of configuration from the - desktop-. Have you ever seen an application that doesn't do that?

I agree - the location on the desktop is system dependent. If we can't use Java persistence classes then configuration files are normally best stored in a subdirectory hidden 'user.home '. Normally, I do this the '.xxxx ' directory where "xxxx" is the name of the program. "

    Hello world

    I use jdev 11.1.1.7.0

    I added a jar file to my project (jar file contains a workflow and an application module), the jspx parent page like the following (also application instance module added to the data control):

    <af:panelGroupLayout id="pgl1" layout="vertical">

      <af:region value="#{bindings.taskflow.regionModel}" id="r1" />
      ...

    If I create a bean for the parent jspx page (the page contains the workflow) is it possible to access the instance of request of the jar file?

    Hello

    1. don't you make changes before the show?
    2. is the computer is joined to the domain controller?

    You can not start any application on a client computer that is joined to the domain controller. When you try to start this type of application, you receive an error message similar to the following:
    "Windows cannot access the specified device, path or file. You can not have the appropriate permissions to access the item.

    This can also occur if the user account is damaged. If the computer is not connected to a domain controller, try the following steps.
    1. connect to another user account and create a new user account to fix the damaged user account.

  • How to build a library for export as a .jar file? Œuvres if lib is a CLDC App, but no library

    I have a project named FooLibrary within a workspace.  And in this project is a single file that exposes a single class.  I put this project of type 'Library' (project-> Application-> project properties).  Build it and the world is a happy place.  Then, I create a new workspace and a new project within the workspace.  I add the file FooLibrary.jar (produced by the above) to this project.  Then I add another project to that workspace, should depend on the project that has FooLibrary.jar in it.  I add an instance of the FooLibrary class in this project.  I build it and it builds.  Then, when I run, I hit a check error 1610.

    Curiously, if, instead of making FooLibrary a library, I don't type Application CLDC (the default type).  then when I compile FooLibrary I get warnings, but absolutely everything else works.

    Am I missing something obvious here, or am I really confused on the world?

    As always, thanks for everything!

    -Henry

    If you want to make a library - add relevant source files to a project of type 'Library' in JDE and compile it to jar file.

    After that - delete file cso and csl of cod this jar file.

    And try to import this jar in the project properties dialog box.

    When I run the sample demos that provided by BBM version 1.1 for BlackBerry Java SDK and so like in BBM SDK v1.2 for BlackBerry Java, I'm not able to run the file. For this I preverify Nokia net_rim_bb_qm_platform.jar of the two versions, I get following error in command prompt:

    Then I extracted the net_rim_bb_qm_platform.jar file and check the class

    net.rim.blackberry.api.bbm.platform.ui.chat.component.SmilyScreen.class (I have decompile this class and checked) I got the code below:

    There, I found an interface that is not there in the entire file jar and Blackberry O.S6.0 AND O.S7.0 : look below:

    Here, I got a single line:

    TextInputDialog this class, I do not have.

    I checked this: import net.rim.device.api.ui.component.TextInputDialog;

    I think that for this reason, I 'not registered' in the Signin tool.

    If I'm fault please tell me how to operate the Blackberry Messenger using the file net_rim_bb_qm_platform.jar .

    Thank you best regards &,.

    Ali shaik.

    Hello

    In addition to comments Peter, any chance that you could clarify what you are trying to accomplish here? As Peter pointed out, avoid to preverify this. JAR file. In addition, the missing class would not be connected to your key signature, but you can ask here the keys if they lack for deployment to physical devices.

    To set up different simulators for testing, please see the following document:

    http://docs.BlackBerry.com/en/developers/deliverables/25813/

    Additional documentation can be found here:

    http://docs.BlackBerry.com/en/developers/subcategories/?usertype=21&category=BlackBerry+Messenger+so...

    Finally, for BBM samples, the. JAR file should just be referenced by the samples to allow access to specific features, you should not be re-building the content of the. JAR file yourself.

    Hi guys,.

    I'm looking for a list of all the .jar files UCSM loads at startup, basically the folder/ucsm/unpacked.

    We are using MCafee Enterprise 8.8 AV and it seems to block access to the ccore.jar file.

    If you open the file ucsm.jnlp (the file that will be downloaded on your machine when you try to launch UCSM GUI) in a text editor, then you will see entries like:

  • Set the path to the jar file

    Sorry for the noob question, but could you tell me please what I did wrong when I try to set the path to the file in my application jar.

    I have app that works with the xml file. I have the following project structure:

    /project_root_directory

    | / lib _

    | /resources/file.XML _

    | / SRC _

    So, I need set my jar file, because when I correctly by running the IDE, it works well.

    By default, it seems:

    private File file;
    private StreamResult streamResult;
    file = new File("resources/file.xml");
    streamResult = new StreamResult(file);

    And methods where I can change the DOM structure via transformer end methods:

    transformer.transform(source, streamResult);

    So, I tried sets the path to the file:

    private URL url;
    ...

    file = new File(url.getPath());
    streamResult = new StreamResult(file);

    But it does not, because when I try to get resources by the following condition

    url = getClass().getResource("resources/file.xml");

    (" url = getClass().getResource("resources/file.xml "); URL = getClass () .getResource ("url = getClass().getResource("resources/file.xml "); (" resources/file.xml ');

    URL - is null

    OK...

    I tried the following solution

    InputStream input = getClass().getResourceAsStream("resources/file.xml");

    Here, I myself also null...

    This solution I found here

    Also, I tried in absolute path

    filePath = file.getAbsolutePath();
    file = new File(filePath);
    streamResult = new StreamResult(file);

    But he also didn't work. There I got message seems to be: "Cannot find the /User/user1/Desktop/program1/resources/file.xml resource" - but it really is absoulte path to a file.

    Also, I tried using System.getProperty

    String filename = "file.xml";
    String workingDir = System.getProperty("user.dir");
    finalfile = workingDir + File.separator + "resources" + File.separator + filename;
    file = new File(finalfile);

    I also did test unit that finished with the 'green light', but potted his wrong with the message "unable to find /User/user1/Desktop/program1/resources/file.xm resource.

    Could you tell me please what I did wrong?

    file:\c:\Users\user1\Desktop\myapp.jar!\psswd.XML is what getResource() book you as the URL of the entry of the pot (notice I didn't say file, but the entrance of pot).

    The meaning is: the psswd.xml of the entrance lies at the root of the C:\Users\user1\Desktop\myapp.jar pot.

    Now, without taking into account my tips, you want to turn this into a file. If Java puts in front of it in the current directory. If you use Windows Explorer, you have such a file?

    psswd.XML is not just a file. In any case, given that your StreamResult is supposed to write something, it may not be in the jar. You can not write to an entry in the pot. Jars is supposed to be read-only.

    It's like an EXE file in writing within himself. So psswd.xml should be outside the pot, a real file and forget the things of the resource. It happened to work in the IDE, because there he was jarred not yet.

    It happened to be a Windows file and a Java resource.

    This error occurs very often and it's strange because I place the cards together in a same way. Here is the OSGI layer and contaxt bundle files:

    Context Bundle:

    < name of the bean = "ClusterAdvancedAdapterImpl" class = "com.adapters.Datacenter.ClusterAdvancedAdapterImpl" >

    < constructor-arg ref = "dataServiceExtensionRegistry" / >

    < / bean >

    < osgi:service id = "DatacenterConfig" ref = "ClusterConfigAdapterImpl".

    interface = "com. VMware.vise.Data.Query.PropertyProviderAdapter"/ >

    < osgi:reference id = "dataServiceExtensionRegistry".

    interface = "com. VMware.vise.Data.Query.DataServiceExtensionRegistry"/ >

    And I really don't know why this isn't a job.

    The second problem is that I have another project with classes and I want to export it to a jar file. When I do this I also want to include this pot in the bundle, but when I change the ant file it does not work on virgo.

    Any help will be appreciated.

    Kind regards

    Hello

    Must be 'Java BeanShell' technology?

    What I do is use the "Jython" technology So before you import the jar, import bones. Also remove the ';' at the end of your lines.

    For example:

    Import os
    import HTTPUtil - class

    point endpoint = "#REQUEST_URL."
    data = " < %="odiRef.getSchemaName" (« logique »,="" « w")%=""> data.xml".
    output="<%=odiRef.getSchemaName ("LOGIQUE","D")%>/data.csv"

    a = HTTPUtil.HTTPRequestPoster () - method
    a.postData(data,endpoint,output)

    See you soon

  • Problem in the visualization of a converted JavaHelp (jar) file (created using RH2002 to RoboHelp X 5)

    Hello

    I have a (compressed javahelp) javahelp project created using RoboHelp 2002. The output files are jar files.

    The source files are .mpj. When I consult the existing jar files without converting the project to the .xpj I am able to view the jar files.

    However, this project should be upgraded to RHx5. The conversion of (.mpj to .xpj), everything seems to work fine and javahelp files are generated. But when I try to view the jar files, nothing is displayed.

    I get the following error. Please see below.

    Everyone comes across something similar? I have to take care of, before moving on to .xpj? I can't locate the file glo.xml in HR.

    The question of the visualization of jar - resolved files.

    Hi all

    JavaHelp requires the Helpset file and files of navigation to build and display properly. In this case, he was not able to locate the a navigation files not be generated (unless I chose to create JavaHelp compressed with source files).

    I don't know how the generated navigation files in 2002 to HR, but when you have an existing (.mpj) project that must be upgraded to .xpj, it is important to generate JavaHelp with the source files for the first time.

    Once it creates all the files of navigation and the jar file is visible, I can go back to the option of creating just the JavaHelp Tablet and can also display the jar file.

    Madam/Sir,

    I log on this site everyday to make a contribution (http://theanimalrescuesite.greatergood.com/clickToGive/home.faces?siteId=3) and during the last three days, I was unable to connect. Today, I get this message: XML parsing error: State unexpected location parser: jar:file:///C:/Program%20Files%20 (x 86) /Mozilla%20Firefox/browser/omni.ja!/chrome/browser/content/browser/abt

    What Firefox locale (UI language) do you use?

    Try a clean reinstall and delete the program folder before Firefox to (re) install a new copy of the current version of Firefox.

    If possible to uninstall your current version of Firefox to clean the Windows registry and settings in the security software.

    • Do NOT remove the "personal data" when you uninstall your current version of Firefox, because this will remove all profile folders and you lose personal data such as bookmarks and passwords including data profiles created by other versions of Firefox.

    Delete the program folder Firefox before installing newly downloaded copy of the Firefox installer.

    • (32-bit Windows) "C:\Program Files\Mozilla Firefox\"
    • (Windows 64 bit) "C:\Program Files (x 86) \Mozilla.

    Your bookmarks and other personal data are stored in the Firefox profile folder and will not be affected by a uninstall and (re) install, but do NOT delete personal data when you uninstall Firefox which removes all Firefox profile folders and you lose your data.
