Java6update14 won't NOT UNINSTALL?

I tried to uninstall Java 6 update 14, I go to control panel > programs & features > java > uninstall... then it prompts me to prepairing to remove... can I get a popup shield, saying: "the following from an unknown Publisher program tries to make changes to your computer. C:\\Windows\Installer\6398.ff.msi ".
I read a bit up and I tried to type in 'services' in the dialog box and goes to the installer of windows & started the service status. Don't know not what really made... but it does not solve my problem.
If someone could help me to uninstall that I would really be grateful. This Java is untrustworthy - want to get rid of him as soon as POSSIBLE!

  • Support Assistant does not and will not uninstall

I have HP Pavilion g series laptop running Windows 7 and used and fairly regularly updates from HP support Assistant.  Recently, whenever I try to run HP Support Assistant I get the message "HP Support Assistant has stopped working"

When I continue and follow the link "Check online for a solution", nothing happens.

I tried the uninstall programs and features in Control Panel, but it will not uninstall.  When the uninstall process early, I get an error message: -.

"Error1316 a network error has occurred trying to read the file C:\Windows\Installer\HPSupportAssistant.msi.

Uninstalling then rolls back leaving the program on the computer and it is still in the list of installed programs and features.

Therefore, I am unable to do a clean install of HP Support Assistant. I tried to install on the version on my computer and get a message "the following file is already on your computer c:\setup\SP64126\Metro.xml you want to overwrite this file?  I click 'Yes to all' installation is over in a Flash and Assistant support still does not work. The same message reappears. A vicious circle. How can I uninstall?

KB954430 guard reinstall BUT also will not uninstall in order to allow the correction

I read the fix as it is to uninstall and reinstall manually but in the "installed updates" area of windows, if I click on any other update, uninstall link is appears... but NOT with kb954430. KB954430 guard reinstall BUT also will not uninstall in order to allow the correction

Re vista: kb954430 guard reinstall BUT also will not uninstall in order to allow the correction. I went to the area of vista update and all other updates when you click on them have a link that seems to do the uninstall. KB954430 will not uninstall so that I can then manually reinstall it, in the hope that it will stop relocation.

There was a ranked difficulty: uninstall, then reinstall manually, but be able to uninstall the update, which for some reason I can't.

any ideas other ways to uninstall an update that does not have the ability to click on the link to uninstall?
