  We have activated the Mobile support for a site.  So now, when a user on a mobile device go to the website they see mobile model.

  The mobile template includes a link to the user to view the full site: < a href = "/ index.html? visitorDeviceClass = desktop" > full view of the Site < /a >

  We want to add a link 'view the Mobile Site"on the Office site but only for users of mobile devices.

  We tried to {{globals.cookie}} and {{globals.visitor}} to see if there is something we can watch (using javascript) to determine if we have a mobile user who visits the site of the office.  But it looks like visitorDeviceClass and deviceClass are set to "desktop" for real desktop users and mobile users who clicked on the link "View Full Site.

  We believe that we could be able to watch her User Agent but do not know what OS is displayed for Windows phones and we are not dependent on not user agent.

  Question:

  Does anyone know of a way for us to determine if a mobile device user look at the desktop version of the site so that we can add a link 'view the Mobile site?

  • using globals liquid - {{globals.visitor.deviceClass}} - Globals. Catalyst of business support

  AIR and HTML5 Canvas are alternatives for mobile. With air you would be making an app, with HTML5 Canvas you would do something for display in a browser.

  Flash Pro can do both, but note that for the AIR you would be programming in ActionScript and HTML5 Canvas you would be using Javascript, although a lot of the syntax in CreateJS is similar to ActionScript.

  I note repeated mention of mobile in your chart. However, I don't see the changes to preferences that may be involved in this. I use Ubuntu 16.04, but very probably part of this problem is hardware related.

  In the current version, the only way to get what you want is to build your own plugin of Cordova. This means that you will need to write native Android and iOS code to interact with the device, but also a JavaScript wrapper that will expose your API to Mobile ADF application.   I recently had a problem with iTunes not recognizing my iPhone, so I reinstalled the latest version of iTunes on my PC. Since then I have now received this error:

  iTunes requires a newer version of Apple Mobile Device Support. Please uninstall iTunes and Apple Mobile Device Support, then reinstall iTunes.

  I followed these steps, only to get the same error. I then stopped Apple Mobile Device Support Services, manually delete the files in c:\ProgramData\Apple\Installer Cache, repair the installation of iTunes and restart services, only to get the same result.

  I use iTunes 12 and 10 Windows.

  Would like to be able to sync my phone again.

  For general advice, see troubleshooting problems with iTunes for Windows updates.

  The steps described in the second case are a guide to remove everything related to iTunes and then rebuild what is often a good starting point, unless the symptoms indicate a more specific approach.

It does not make a difference if I allow or block cookies.

  -Antivirus does not pick up anything.

  I tried the zoom on the browser, but it wasn't problem. Looks like the problem is that I used the windows "displays" option to set the size of the text to 150%. When I put it to 125%, the site loads normally now.

• Videos YouTube says is not fixed to mobile devices, and it's on my laptop.

  Yesterday the YouTube video displayed differently. I clicked on a video and get a message that says: cannot read on a mobile device. That's what I don't understand because it's on my laptop. I was using videos earlier in the day. YouTube works display and works well in Chrome.

• The Apple Mobile Device Service service on Local computer started and then stopped.

  My iDevice doesn't connect to iTunes, I think its a result of the apple mobile device service. The restart option doesn't come up, it just says  "start the service" and when I click that an error comes up which says "The Apple Mobile Device Service service on Local Computer started and then stopped. Some services stop automatically if not in use by other services or programs". (I've already got a post with this information on I just wanted to make it more clear)

  If your iOS device does not appear in iTunes, try the following:

  1. Open Control Panel > Device Manager
  2. Plug in your device
  3. Locate Bus USB Controllers > Apple Mobile Device USB Driver.
     It is also possible that the device may appear under imaging devices, portable devices or other devices or as a device USB of MTB.
     
  4. Right-click and select software update of the driver...
  5. Click Browse my computer for driver software
  6. Go to C:\Program Files\Common Apple Mobile Device Support\Drivers or
     C:\Program Files (x 86) \Common Files\Apple\Mobile Device Support\Drivers
  7. Click on let me pick from a list of drivers for devices on my computer
  8. Click on Apple Mobile Device USB Driver
  9. Click Next, then close and exit the Device Manager

  To step 3 above, open the Device Manager. Expand one of the articles that are listed.

  1. Locate the reset button near the port of loading.
