JAX - RS Web service-deployment problem

I am creating a restful Web service in Eclipse EPCO + Weblogic 10.3.6. When you use 'com.sun.jersey.spi.container.servlet.ServletContainer', I have no problem in the deployment and execution of the service. (kept in pots of Jersey in the lib to the application directory).

but when you use 'weblogic.jaxrs.server.portable.servlet.ServletContainer', ranks not found exception during deployment. Can someone tell me what jar has this class that must be available on the classpath?

FYI: I chose weblogic system libraries in the way of the construction and the facet of the JAX - RS project is selected.

Thank you
A

This class is only available from WLS 12.1.1.0 "weblogic.jaxrs.server.portable.servlet.ServletContainer" Please check below for weblogic 12 c documentation that supports the two classes
weblogic.jaxrs.server.portable.servlet.ServletContainer
com.sun.jersey.spi.container.servlet.ServletContainer
http://docs.Oracle.com/CD/E24329_01/Web.1211/e24983/configure.htm#RESTF179

10.3.6 only "com.sun.jersey.spi.container.servlet.ServletContainer" is available.

  • The unauthorized JAX - RPC web service client?

    I try to call a 3rd web service part using a WSDL I can't control.  I was unable to send requests by using a style JAX - WS client and errors have led me to believe that this was due to the WSDL using the RPC/Document model.  Checks showed there is, in fact, the primitive methods of return base schema.  My understanding is that I have to use a JAX - RPC client in this case.

    JDev generated successfully objects, but I got whitelist errors that I have deployed in the cloud.  Basically, any class that referred to java.rmi failed (as documented) - and that's almost all main objects for the customer.

    I do not think that RPC is supported, see unsupported features and API which States:

    Convert in JAX - WS web services.

  • Web service deployment error

    Hi all!

    I created a Web Service to a VI. This VI has two values of entries: a string and and Int8 and a single output: an array of values (1 x table 3) DBL. The inputs and outputs are well connected via the connector pane.

    For example, in the project > unchanged to build, I created WS, built with the advanced > use LabVIEW 8.x file layout option checked, in the dialog box settings WebService (RESTful). The problem appears when I try to deploy this WS. The following error is displayed:

    Error LabVIEW: (Hex 0xFFFEF84D) LabVIEW Web Services: An error occurred when extracting the deployed Web service. Rebuild the Web service by selecting the "Use LabVIEW 8.x file layout" option in the Advanced tab of the web Service properties dialog.

    How can I solve this problem?

    Just realized we have been stolen around for nothing. There is still no universal standard for the passage of XML as arguments to the Web service methods. ColdFusion has its own, as do .NET and Java.

    The single currency among all web services is SOAP. Therefore, a universal way to pass XML from any client to a web service on any platform, is like a SOAP document.

    In your case, you want to make a SOAP document that includes your XML file. You could then move it to the web service using . I googled and found an fully developed for example in houseOfFusion.

  • Using https with proxy in WebLogic 10.3 and Jax - WS (Web services).

    Hello world! Hello!
    I'm trying to configure a proxy in a Https Jax Ws connection. I get problems to set up the Proxy authentication.

    This is the situation, I deploy a web project, which I have in the file. WAR in WebLogic. In this project, I have configured a class called utils. Authenticator. The code is the following:

    */**
    * To change this template, choose Tools | Models *.
    * and open the template in the editor.*
    **/*

    Import weblogic.common.ProxyAuthenticator;

    proxyPort int,
    String AuthType,

    * public String [] getLoginAndPassword() {*}
    Connection string [] = new String [2];
    Login [0] = "user";
    Login [1] = 'password ';
    Returns the user name;

    *}*

    Also, when I run the Jax - WS, prior to that, I try to configure the proxy with the following lines:
    Properties p = System.getProperties ();
    p.put (ProxyAuthenticator.AUTHENTICATOR_PROPERTY, "utils. Authenticator");
    p.put ("weblogic.net.proxyAuthenticatorClassName", "utils. Authenticator");
    System.setProperties (p);

    The exception I get is:

    weblogic.net.http.HttpUnauthorizedException: Proxy authenticator utils. Authenticator failed: java.lang.ClassNotFoundException: utils. Authenticator

    OK, you are using SQL Developer.

    Replace quotes simple quotes here:

    servlet-name = "orawsv".

    It should now work without error, but you end up with this:

    COLUMN_VALUE

    ----------------------

    (XMLTYPE)

    which is not very useful.

    So you should better use XMLTable first:

    SELECT xmlserialize (happy column_value)

    FROM XMLTable)

    XmlNamespaces (default 'http://xmlns.oracle.com/xdb/xdbconfig.xsd'),

    "for $doc in fn:doc("/xdbconfig.xml")/xdbconfig/sysconfig/protocolconfig/httpconfig/webappconfig/servletconfig/servlet-liste/servlet [servlet-name ="orawsv"].

    return $doc '

  • deploy the web service to xp embedded

    Hi all

    I struggle to run a web service on an xp embedded system. The web service works very well in my LV 2011 development environment and I have created an installer for my main application it is the lvws file is included as described in web services FAQ:

    http://zone.NI.com/DevZone/CDA/tut/p/ID/7747#toc12

    After the installation on the target computer, I can't access the web service. Also if you call localhost:3580, then I get an access error.

    But in the System Control Panel administrative tools, I can see that the server system OR like many Web server OR Web applications are started.

    For further investigation, I added the 'Distributed System Manager' to my Installer. With this tool, I see that all my web services deployed on my development system, but on the XP embedded system with TEN target is listed.

    I installed my application for a professional reference XP system to exclude that the problem is caused by embedded XP. But the behavior is exactly the same. So far, I tested only local so that settings security like firewalls and ports system should pose no problems. But to be sure I have disabled the firewall without success... I can't access the Web service. I have often found the suggestions in the forum to check if the web service is enabled. But I am not already and then access to http://localhost:3580.

    Any ideas?

    Thank you!

    This help document is somewhat outdated.

    You see 2 different problems: 1) you can not display the Configuration utility and do not install Web using localhost:3580 2) your web service monitoring.

    For the first number-->

    You probably did not understand the "Interface Web NI 2011 infrastructure" in your Setup program.  The doc to help you mentioned does not tell you to do, because it is not necessary for your web service works. However, if you want to change one of the settings of your web server after the installation, you will need this extra setup program.

    For the second question-->

    You probably didn't get your Spec to build Web services as a source file in your Setup program.  The help doc says to put your LVWS file as your installation source, but this is not correct. You must include the technical article to build real web service as a source file (not the web service create out of spec files, like LVWS).

    Let me know if any of these will help you.

    -Jared

  • Deployment of Web Services has failed. Web applications server OR still load.

    I installed LabVIEW 2013 and I am trying to publish the web service. Every time I try, I see this message: "unable to Web Services deployment. The Server Web applications OR load again. »

    I don't know how to stop or complete this loading. I have reinstalled LabVIEW 2013, removed LV 2012 and other software. In addition, when I restart the 32-bit server, I have old web services installed. Even if I do not publish them, they appear after the transition to 64-bit-> 32-bit server.

    Hi all

    It was a problem introduced with the new deployment of LabVIEW web services in 2013, specifically on laptops (classified as CAR 422680). It is fixed in the patch of f1 2013 LabVIEW. This patch is available for download here and you can get more information about the patches in the patch here. The patch will travel via Service Update OR later this month.

  • Services Web site deployment error "server returned nothing (no header, no data)" and much more

    I develop a VI on a large scale with a VI of web service combined in 2010 SP1. The "auxiliary" VI is responsible for storage of data capture and analysis as well as data and communications. It's big enough and communicates with the web method VI through shared network variables [and I use the DSC module to allow the management of shared variables of events].

    I can build and deploy the web method VI very well and it runs great. However, I need to communicate between the auxiliary and web method VI, and it seems that I can't do without including the auxiliaries vi when generating RESTful web services [also, is there a way to make this web service generates?]. When I added the auxiliary vi for the construction, he built very well, but then I got during deployment:

    "Server returned nothing (no header, no data).

    The next time I tried to deploy, I got a fake NI Auth dialog by this knowledge base article. By following the instructions for case 1 ["failure of Web application server since last started"], I ran Services.msc and found that NEITHER Application Web Service was not running. I tried to restart the service, but got this error:

    "The NI Application Web Server service on Local computer started and then stopped. Some services stop automatically if they have no work to do, for example, the service logs and alerts. »

    Knowledge base article suggests to restart at this point and I did, but I still see the same behavior. So really, I have a few questions:

    1. is it possible to deploy a variable library shared on the network through a local web service deployed and VI?

    2. What are the causes "server returned nothing (no header, no data)" in the deployment? A google search gave very little.

    3. what this means: "NI Application Web Server service on Local computer started and then stopped... '. "and what do I do to get my Web Application Server up?

    [to pile on the pile... I tried to re - activate the localhost:3580 Web application server and got an error. Localhost:3580 then offline also.]

    Thank you!

    Update.

    I noticed that the Web application server attempted to deploy the web service broken and choke her. There seemed to be no way to clear the .lvws created at the origin of the construction. I was able to remove the deployment folder to \UserServices\deployed\ $(WebServicesRoot)- , but it has been recreated from the .lvws whenever I tried to restart the service.

    So I called NOR and they told me this directory [XP]:

    C:\Documents and Settings\LocalService\My Documents\LabVIEW Data\WebServices\Standalone

    The .lvws has been in this folder. I deleted it and now I can run the ApplicationWebService. Apparently this file hidden undocumented is a "not-quite-bug" that is recognized as needing a fix in future releases.

  • "Problem connecting to the Server Web Services." - HP Envy 100

    Hello world

    I wonder if anyone has the same problem as me. I just got a HP Envy 100 and went through the process of setting up without problem. The printer is connected via Wi - Fi for wireless network, I can ping the printer from my Mac successfully and I can print within the network without problem.

    However, regarding ePrint and Web features, it seems that nothing really works. I can't even turn on Web services, I always get the message "problem connecting to the Web Services server.

    I tried the following:

    -Restart the router and printer

    -Change the manual IP address and manually set the DNS server

    -Reapply automatic IP and set the Google DNS (8.8.8.8 and 8.8.4.4) servers

    .. .with no chance whatsoever. If this is a problem with the firmware (from what I understood, I do not have the latest firmware, but I can't ask her update, because it requires, you guessed it, a connection on the server of web services, that is the whole of the problem.)

    Anyone else having the problem? Everyone had it and fixed it? Is this just a temporary problem with HP servers?

    Thanks in advance!

    Hey, for me it works as well, and I didn't, just retried that I had tried before and it connected to the Web Services without problem.

    So I think it's safe to say that the original problem in this topic only lied to a HP Server-side problem. Not cool it took so long for them to solve and in particular the fact that we did not really have feedback appropriate about the problem.

    Anyway, I solved (for now, at least).

  • Compression SSL Web service problem

    I'm trying to consume a .NET web service in ColdFusion via SSL, and I have serious problems. I know that the URL is correct, because I can navigate through the WSDL file using my browser. Errors and my research, it seems that the problem might involve http compression on the server hosting the web service. I saw a few alternatives for CFHTTP using custom HTTP headers, but I wasn't able to find a way to get something to work with a web service call. Any ideas? ColdFusion only incompatible with webservices using HTTP compression?

    Here is the summary of the problems:

    (1) I can't save the WebService in CF administrator - when I try, I get the error:
    Service web creation by mistake. Please ensure that you have entered a Web Service name or the correct URL.

    (2) when I try to consume the web service in the CF, I get the following error:
    Could not generate objects stub for the call to the web service.
    Name: https://www.travelinsured.com/TIWebServiceQA/service.asmx?wsdl. WSDL: https://www.travelinsured.com/TIWebServiceQA/service.asmx?wsdl. java.util.zip.ZipException: unknown compression method It is recommended that you use a web browser to retrieve and examine the requested WSDL document of accuracy. If the WSDL document you requested cannot be found or it is generated dynamically, it is likely that the web service target has programming errors.

    (3) just to be sure, I recorded the last certificate for the secure site, I am trying to access it in the Keystore of Java from ColdFusion.

    I saw similar topics in the forum before involving web services and SSL, but nothing about HTTP compression. Anyone had this problem before? All the patches?

    Thank you!

    A useful poster on the forums of the House of Fusion showed me a work around:

    Apparently, ColdFusion uses only the WSDL to create objects to sub for the web service call, so as long as there is a service port address specified in the WSDL file it does not matter where to seat the actual WSDL file. So I just download the WSDL using CFHTTP (had to use this article to configure CFHTTP to the HTTP Compression: http://www.talkingtree.com/blog/index.cfm/2004/7/28/20040729) and then I reported my administrator SEE the WSDL on my local machine. And Presto - I can connect to the web service without problem now.

    Only problem is that I have to download the WSDL, whenever there is a change to the Web service, but I can schedule a task that downloads the file once a week or more.

    I tried to compile your source code and received the same exception.
    However after compiling the MyDataType.java before running the jwsc task, I was successfully able to build the service.

    Please try the ant script below and let me know the result:

    DESTDIR = "${Build.dir} '"
    keepGenerated = 'true '.
    classpath = "${Class.Path} '"
    Debug = 'true '.
    verbose = "false" >
