  The reason was "Duplicate fonts" that have been installed on the machine and fix policies duplicated using the application book fonts from MAC OS solved the problem.

  I have another question. Basically, my problem is that my computer is stuck on the loading bar every time, this has happened since I installed a new driver. Sometimes it will work and I can not connect. I heard that there is an error with my hard drive.

  If I buy windows 7 home x 32 base and install a update on my windows Vista Edition family Basic. I will keep all my info and all the files, but that doesn't solve the problem?

  Or what I need to do a clean install and remove all of my old info?

  If there is an error with the hard drive, upgrading to Win7 wouldn't help - in fact, it can make things worse.

• Stuck at the loading bar

  This morning when I turned on my computer, it got stuck at the loading bar section. I turned it turned off, then back on the choice of the repair option. In the end, the repair report says that it could not solve the problem and asks if I want to stop, I did.

  Then I restarted the laptop and press F8 and ESC but actually the computer started as regular. So for now it works, but it worries me.   Well, I couldn't do it all, my computer went on the complete freeze. (I use Norton Internet Suite btw.)

  I received my HP recovery CD and it took a good day to have everything reinstalled and another day to recover from my backup. Anyway, after all that I wanted to use the recovery D HP drive to back up data in this way, but there was not enough space. (After that I backed up my data differently.)

  Now, whenever I turn on the computer, it says I'm low space on the D drive. I think it's to slow down the computer, so I would like to clean this drive. Since I have the HP recovery CD, I don't think I should do another. Or should I? How can I free up space on drive D?

  no window-> no Burger.

  In the meantime, I was able to fix: FF installed in SafeMode to OSX. It works for me now in El Capitan, previously in Yosemite, it had no effect.

  I've never seen the address book open when you click on to. But maybe you are on that old one version that I have missed to see that. The latest version is 34.

  Make sure that you back up your files.

  1. Restart the computer and after the buzzer, press on and hold down the COMMAND and R until the Apple logo appears. Wait for the Utility Menu to appear.
  2. Select in the main menu disk utility and click on the continue button.
  3. After disk utility charges select the volume (this is the entry indented, usually Macintosh HD) in the list to one side. Click on the Erase tab in the main window of disk utility.
  4. Define the type of Format Mac OS extended (journaled). Click on the apply button
  5. When the process is complete, quit disk utility and re-enter the Utility Menu.
  6. Select reinstall OS X and click on the continue button.

  This will install the version of Mac OS X, you had installed.

  HD Recovery must be locked but always bootable. If it's not bootable then the problem is with the drive, but you have not provided sufficient information such as the exact iMac model you have and what you have tried to do, and how you did it. You will need to provide the exact wording of error dialogs that you received. You can try the following, if the disc is locked because of permissions is set incorrectly.

  Set Permissions to a locked drive

  Enter the following commands at the command prompt. Press RETURN after each.

  chflags 0/Volumes / *.

  chmod a + rx/Volumes / *.

  You will need to boot from the HD Recovery to perform the above, because you can't boot OS X.

  Start at the HD Recovery:

  1. reboot the computer.

  2. immediately after the ring, press and hold the

  Keys 'Command' and 'R' together.

  3. release the keys when appears the utilities Menu.

  4. in the Utilities menu in the menu bar select Terminal.

  5. Enter the lines above in the Terminal.

  Of your most recent post, looks like you're watching the wrong part of the Device Manager. Optical drive is listed under "readers of CD-ROM/DVD-ROM". The info you gave appear under "drives". If the drive is not listed under "readers of CD-ROM/DVD-ROM" or there is no such section in Device Manager, then Windows do not see. If windows can't see it then this means that there is no power or that the drive is broken.

  When you pushed the drive back in, the player no longer has much of the book or did you have to push all the way. If the latter, it means that the drive has no power or is broken.

  With respect to the opening of the case, I guess I should ask first if it's a laptop or desktop?
