JDeveloper and WebLogic
Also, when I run something in JDeveloper (11.1.1.7.0) I get:
The Server Instance cannot start because the integrated Weblogic domain has not been built successfully.
All the research that I find pointing me to setting up your development environment - the 11g Release 1 (11.1.3)
who says I need to put in place a shared environment, a personalized environment, and many other steps. I'm the only programmer in my band and it sounds exaggerated to me. Y at - it an easy fix?
The links provide information about how to configure the environment for jdev.
As you have already tried to create the wls integrated, you must first delete (delete the DefaultDomain file in the system11.x.x.x folder). Then try again. If you still get an error message, the error message that you get in the log window.
You try to run on jdk 1.7 or 1.6?

Problems with setting up JDeveloper and MAF with android SDK
I finished installing Jdeveloper studio edition and downloaded the Android SDK. When I try to install the Android SDK with Jdeveloper, I get the following error...
java.lang.RuntimeException: XPathFactory #newInstance () cannot create an XPathFactory for the default object model: http://Java.Sun.com/JAXP/XPath/DOM with the XPathFactoryConfigurationException: javax.xml.xpath.XPathFactoryConfigurationException: java.util.ServiceConfigurationError: javax.xml.xpath.XPathFactory: weblogic.xml.jaxp.RegistryXPathFactory provider not found
Please help me in fixing this problem.
Thank you
Aerts.
Arun, I tried. Does not resolve the issue. I moved all records related to the generic installation jdeveloper and JDK 8 to the trash and then started editing studio of jdeveloper, then he asked for the location of the JDK. When entered the path to the JDK 7, everything has worked well.
Thanks for all the help.

JDeveloper and WebCenter - services - spaces
Hello
What version of Jdeveloper should I download on the laptop that will allow me to develop the local application (within jdev and deployed on integrated weblogic) based on spaces webcenter, discussions, 2.0 Services and UCM?
If I use service features and spaces in my webcenter application and then how to start local server spaces (built-in) services server so that the deployed application would RUN on integrated weblogic?
Last question - what can I run on the laptop so that the patterns of webceter have install locally?
THX
pYou must download the latest version of jdeveloper studio edition. You can find in the following link:
http://www.Oracle.com/technetwork/developer-tools/jdev/downloads/soft11-098086.html
Make sure you download the edition of Studio! After you install JDeveloper, you must also install the extensions webcenter to develop the webcenter application. You can download the extensions from JDeveloper using "Check for updates" in the menu help, or you can download the extensions on the following link:
http://www.Oracle.com/ocom/groups/public/@OTN/documents/WEBCONTENT/156082.XML
Download both the webcenter extension and install from the feature "Check for updates" in the Help menu, but use 'Local file Install' at the bottom of the dialog box. After that, you are ready to develop webcenter application.
What do you mean by "which is based on webcenter spaces"?
You can create portlets with JDeveloper and deploy them in your weblogic server. You can register for these providers to an instance of webcenter spaces portlet.JDeveloper provides a weblogic Server integrated with the runtime environment for webcenter (if you have installed extensions), but it does not include an instance of webcenter spaces. This is possible if you install webcenter suite.
Installation of webcenter suite is large enough.
I already made a post which explains very soon on how to install webcenter from scratch:
How to configure the WebCenter on WebLogic serverBe aware... If you try to run your local computer webcenter spaces, it will be very slow unless you have a monster laptop :)
The default installation of a webcenter domain will seize 4 tp weblogic server instances and if you want to run jdeveloper together you can expect very long before something happens...Here is another link to a documentation by oracle on how to install webcenter spaces:
http://www.Oracle.com/technology/OBE/fusion_middleware/webcenter_suite/wcspaces11g/install/wcs_install.htmAnd if you want to extend the webcenter spaces (create your own templates, skins, resource bundles,...) permanently you need to read the white paper by oracle:

Hello
We have planned the implementation of several node, where a server under Linux OS has foundation, OSH and weblogic domain. Server B on window has HFM. We know now that we can have single domain web-logic since HFM has no binary for Linux (and we must at least HFM web - app to install if we want common weblogic domain). In this case, what is the common practice. Should we local domain web-logic on the server HFM window? Is there a better way?
Thank you.
My understanding is that you need one,
#Separate Weblogic domain for the components installed on the Linux box (Foundation)
#Separate Weblogic domain for the HFM components installed on the Windows machine
Such as Weblogic in Linux can't talk to the components installed on the Windows machine.
Kind regards

If I configure the weblogic using staticport.ini, do I need to use it when I start nodemanager and weblogic. If so, what would the command.
Hello
As far as I know, you only use this file during installation only. Then the values of ports configured in the file will be used by the Setup program to configure port appropriate for each component values. These port values would be stored in the files of each component configuration, so ultimately, you won't need to staticport.ini after a successful installation.
Kind regards

JDeveloper and tutorial Installation and problem
Hi, I'm currently said with Jdeveloper, and I am following the tutorial at http://docs.Oracle.com/CD/E37547_01/tutorials/tut_ide/tut_ide.html . When I get down at the bottom of this tutorial, it asks me to take a JSF page and drag it on the screen. Name page1.jspx and click Preview in the background; However, when I do that, I get an error: NoClassDefFoundError in org.netbeans.modules.netbinox.NetbinoxLoader:97 I tried to install Jdeveloper on three different machines, and I will still meet this issue. I think that I am ignorant something in the installation. Someone at - he no clue as to what a solution might be?
I feel embarrassed. I finally realized that the use of Java jdk 8 +. He gave me the question. I switched to Java 7 and it works perfectly now.

Hello!
When you deploy a WAR for WebLogic 10.3.5, what is the difference between the prefer-application-package element in the weblogic.xml and weblogic application files. XML?
In my WARs WEB-INF/lib / I have a JAR that contains classes that are already provided by the container (but older versions).
If I do not prefer-application-packages use my application gets then the classes provided by the container.
If I use prefer-application-packages in weblogic.xml can I get classes in WAR/WEB-INF/lib, which is expected.
But if I use prefer application-packages in weblogic - application.xml, then I get the versions of container. Why?
Is there a difference between these two options?
The exact data that I use are:
(foo.bar. * is the name of the conflicting package;) Add or remove the linex tagged XXXX)

HelloWe are on OBIEE 11.1.1.7 and as I said above the EM and Weblogic console URL doesn't work it all the time. When I get one of these two URLS in the browser and click on enter, I see the message "Internet Explorer cannot display the webpage".
The BI server and presentation servers operate because analytical URL works and once I connect to it, I can use all the features on the front.
Please suggest some workaround solutions.
Thank you
Enterprise Manager and WLS Console run on the AdminServer, while that analytical is hosted by the managed server. Thus, it seems that your AdminServer may be down.

What was the stable JDeveloper and ADF to go with the project?
Hi all
What was the best and stable Jdeveloper and ADF for the elaboration of a draft?
Concerning
There is no problem because the difference of the WLS version does not influence with adf. 11.1.1.7.0 can be installed on wls 10.3.5 and 10.3.6. Application developed with 11.1.1.7.0 can be deployed on WLS 10.2.5 or 10.3.6 havingthe ALI DURATION installed 11.1.1.7.0.

Prerequistees for Jdeveloper and ADF!
Hi all
I m 11g form/reports developer and has a few basics of Java.
Please let me know prerequistees for Jdeveloper and ADF in details.
Thank you/cordially.
Biron.
No need to jump on 12 c! I understand that you want to learn the ADF. In this case read blog of Shay https://blogs.oracle.com/shay/entry/how_do_i_start_learning_oracle_adf_and_jdeveloper that gives you a good list of things you can do. If you think you know enough about one of the topics, goto the next.
There are many other documents on the web, like YouTube video tutorials or onlins as https://blogs.oracle.com/jdevotnharvest/entry/learn_adf_online_and_for or Oracle ADF Insider - Learn Oracle ADF Onliner
or https://blogs.oracle.com/jdevotnharvest/entry/learn_adf_online_and_for
and most linked on the homepage of JDev.
