Jdeveloper connection with database error

Hello world

I want to make a link between jdeveloper and database, but I got this error message when I try

IO exception: connection refused (DESCRIPTION = (TMP =)(VSNNUM=169869568) (ERR = 12505) (ERROR_STACK = (ERROR = (CODE = 12505) (EMFI = 4)))

I'm working on the customer and developer oracle is connected with the database.

concerning

SID is like what is use for developer, it's 100% correct

The error code you get (12505) indicates otherwise

http://www.error-code.org.UK/view.asp?e=Oracle-TNS-12505

Perhaps you are pointing to the wrong host/IP address

I would like to connect with the database instead of "writing" all the tables in the bearings inside the Jquery page

This is usually done with a CMS (content management system). There are commercial products CMS like WordPress, Joomla and perch. You create one or several layouts and then create pages of these page layouts using the CMS. In this way, it is possible to have hundreds of pages, each with unique content, but a page layout that can be managed in a place of sharing.

CMSs on shelf don't require programming skills. Otherwise, some of us write our own CMS with custom functions, but this requires back-end, as with PHP programming.

  • Oracle Discoverer 4i (Portal db - oracle 8i) connectivity with database 11g problem

    Hi all

We have oracle discoverer 4i with Portal db (oracle 8i).

Connect to external databases by using links in the portal db db and reports will use the link db to retrieve data from views in external databases.

External databases, we have been connecting is oracle 10g version and now we have improved these databases to version 11g.

Now I have a created a new database link to this 11g database and I have created a new EUL in the portal to connect to this database 11g.

But when I try to create a report using the discoverer of this new EUL after login for the discoverer we get an "Unable to connect to the database" error.

We all have the privilege of necesscary to the user and the new database link works perfectly well. (when we try to query directly using SQL as database portal using this db link the query works perfectly).

I'm not sure if it is a compatibility issue in accessing an 11g database since oracle disk 4i.

Can any advise if this is the case and if there is no work around for this?

    Kind regards

    REDA

You say that you are having problems with a link of database from 8i to 11 g (pl exact position of 4-digit versions)? If so, expect as database of links between these two versions are not supported. Is there a reason you can't pass the portal of databases of at least 10 g 2?

  • Is it possible to connect with database/OOD indesign...

    Hello fellow Indesign user,.

Don't know if this question belongs here or in scripts.

I'm just a moderate user in ID CS4 and I got this arduous task to invest/find a way to use Indesign (our existing page layout software) to create ' brochures/manuals"using databases or OOD. Meaning, use a template, add code that is similar to the data entity code predefined in a database/OOD and automatically add the text/images from the database/OOD.

We're not talking addresses or simple things like that, but brochures and manuals in different languages with different or similar operation for each machine. Some instructions are the same, and some are not. Get my drift?

We use the ID Cs4 in the business right now, not the smartest tool to use during the production of 25 manuals various brochures/technical with different languages. Edit content in a manual, which means that we must change all 25 brochures and manuals... manually...

Many of you may think-"why did you start ID first place". The answer: I don't know, I wasn't there then... It is not so far they have discovered-«Oh, we need a new system...» "and guess who had the task to evaluate...

I need to know if it is possible and how we can use with database ID or OOD-system to retrieve data (for most custom with bulletin data, font, size, photos, etc.).

Articles, links and other information would be very useful...

    Thank you!

  • Cannot create a repository master/connection - connection to database error

Hello peers - I installed Oracle Data Integrator 12cR1 (12.1.3.0.0) using FWM 12 c (WLS 12.1.3) and 12.1.0.2.0 Oracle database. Once finished, I used the RCU to create patterns of master repository and knit as you can see below the image using Service name plug-in (PDBORCL) rather than Service PEH (ORCL) unlike 11 g name.

Therefore, the major problem I faced is that when creating a master in ODI repository, is not to find the pattern mentioned in the database and it is not as PDBORCL as the SID in the settings. See images below:

My pictures installation and Configuration. As you can see, UCR has PDBORCL as the name of Service (pluggable database).

    odi_obia_vm_staticip.png

So, using the same settings from the images above, I tried to create a master repository or a connection, but it does not create one. It throws the error repository is not available . Any help is appreciated.

    Thank you!

    Hello 2632950,

You try to use a forward slash instead of the column at the end of the jdbc url:

    JDBC:Oracle:thin:@odiobia:1521/pdbord

    Instead of

    JDBC:Oracle:thin:@odiobia:1521:pdbord

  • Connection with ODI error - cannot find the JDE. INI

    Hi all

I'm ODI configuration to connect to JDE E1.

I'm consultant JDE but not configured the DEMO for JDE environment. In this environment, JDE. INI is located in C:\Windows.

I copied the jas.ini, jdbj.ini and jdelog.properties on the server of the ODI.

What library path I should add the path for jde.ini?

If it's in ODI, then, would I need to copy JDE.ini on the server of the ODI as well?

    Thanks for any input.

  • Cannot access the Wi - Fi connection with the error: "DNS server is not responding" on Windows 7

So, recently, I installed a new router. After restarting my modem as indicated in after connecting the router to the modem, I was surprised to see that the wireless network has been renamed to (name) 2. I continued with the installation and soon found that it happened too much to the network from the router, and none of them does not seem to work. They tell me that the DNS server is not responding. for the last ive tried day every last problem I can be downloaded on the internet and nothing seems to work. pls help

Original title: renamed networks and will not work

Check if your modem has a built-in router.  If so, it should be disabled until your router works.  If this is a new router, contact the manufacturer of the router.  They will help you.

It is not likely a problem on your computer.

I just downloaded 11.1.1.7 Setup for JDev. After installation, I try to configure the JAVA_HOME path.

However, when I start JDev I wonder "Please specify the path to the JDK Java House... »

If I (C:\Program Files (x86)\Java\jre7\bin\java.exe - Java 7, version 51) I get an error message "could not find a J2SE SDK installed in the path c:\Program Files (x 86) \Java\jre7." and JDev ends.)

What can I do to fix this? Thank you.

The specified path seems to be a path of a Java JRE but not a path to a Java SDK. JDeveloper needs a complete Java SDK (e.g. JDK) but not only a JRE.

    Try to edit listener.ora by:
(ADDRESS = (PROTOCOL = TCP) (HOST = HOST_NAME_OF_YOUR_DATABASE_MACHINE/OR TRY USING THE IP ADDRESS OF THE DATABASE SERVER MACHINE)(PORT=1521))
Just try to edit HOST = value line above. You must use HOST_NAME_OF_YOUR_DATABASE_MACHINE or IP OF the DATABASE SERVER MACHINE.

Host name can be obtained by the hostname command on the database server.

With localhost, no one can connect to the database remotely.

I checked my *.ora files and found the host 127.0.0.1 but I noticed by running the netstat command on prompt back most of my ports is captured by www.360.cn including 1521

When I try to stop the following message is displayed:
    ORA-01034: ORACLE not available
ORA-27101: shared memory realm does not exists
    Thank you and best regards

    Hello

    [oracle@myoramachine ~]$ oerr ora 12505
12505, 00000, "TNS:listener does not currently know of SID given in connect descriptor"
// *Cause: The listener received a request to establish a connection to a
// database or other service. The connect descriptor received by the listener
// specified a SID for an instance (usually a database instance) that either
// has not yet dynamically registered with the listener or has not been
// statically configured for the listener. This may be a temporary condition
// such as after the listener has started, but before the database instance
// has registered with the listener.
    // *Action:
// - Wait a moment and try to connect a second time.
// - Check which instances are currently known by the listener by executing:
    //    lsnrctl services
// - Check that the SID parameter in the connect descriptor specifies
// an instance known by the listener.
// - Check for an event in the listener.log file.
    [oracle@myoramachine ~]$

    1. check the lsnrctl services

    2 check the tnsping output:

    tnsping MYORACLE

    3. check the connectivity to the computer hosting your Oracle server to the port (I guess 1521):

    Telnet 1521

    4. in case you are not able to connect to the Oracle Server - I investigate it in several directions:

    -problem of network infrastructure

-some process disturbing / virus on the server Oracle itself

    -firewall problem

    Good luck!
