• Problem with form of smartview

  Hi all

  
  We have recently migrated Hyperion Planning 11.1.1.3 application to a newer version of 11.1.2.3 and many workbooks are saved with forms of the old version 1.3 smartview.
  When we try to open the saved form, it tries to connect to the old version 1.3, and we see no possibility to change the details of the connection here.

  How easily update us the connection to 1.2.3 and open / save the form in the new version?

  Hi AravindhK,

  I went through the same process, a few months ago, and according to the number of MS Excel workbooks, it is really easy - although a tedious might say - to the convert\migrate the leaves of ad hoc recovery overall.

  1. make sure that the URL of the shared connection is set to point to the new HP v11.1.2.3.x.

  2. open a MS Excel spreadsheet to be repointe

  3. from the main Ribbon bar, click Smart View > Panel

  4. in Smart View Panel, locate and then click [content Document] by clicking on the arrow pointing down icon

  5. a list of all the worksheets connected display then

  6. right click on each definition of the connection, and then select [change the connection]

  7 select the new connection APS URL from the drop-down and then click the [next] button

  8 go again cube HP, and then click [finish]

  9. Repeat steps 6 through 8 as needed

  10. save the MS Excel workbook

  11. click on the button [update] on each worksheet containing a form\adhoc retrieval\submission

  The same principle applies to forms and worksheets adhoc retrieval\submission.

  See how you go.

  I use the same contract repeatedly to different customers and need to set up the custom fields every time which is a total pain.  Also, there is no option 'Add a Document Template' in my account anywhere, where the tutorials do not say that it should be or anywhere else.

  Hello Ben,

  You can go to the dashboard-> additional functions and click on "Add document to the library", and then can download the form inside. If your document already contains form fields, they would automatically get detected. Otherwise, you can also add form fields in EchoSign too.

  Hi all

  I would like to know if anyone can tell me that I'm wrong.

  I tried JavaBean AWTFileDialog to see how it's works within a shape.

  When I click the button, the open FileDialog, everything looks good.

  I'll assume when you said "I use JRocket", you mean server-side.  I was interested by the client side.  What version of Java Browser Plugin use?  That said, JRocket is not supported for use with forms or States.  It is probably not associated with your current number, but you should be aware that this configuration would not be funded.

  Regarding the signing of the pot, you can use the script with the permission that we provide to auto-signer your pot.  The file is located in the directory Home\bin of the Forum and is called sign_webutil.  You'll need to open this file in a text editor and replace 2 entries that require a password.

  Change these:

  SET KEYSTORE_PASSWORD =

  SET JAR_KEY_PASSWORD =

  For this (use your own password, but don't forget to remember it):

  SET KEYSTORE_PASSWORD = oracle

  SET JAR_KEY_PASSWORD = oracle

  Once you have updated the script, open a DOS window or shell (if on Unix) and the ORACLE_HOME.  The whole PATH to include the ORACLE_INSTANCE\bin and the existing path.  Then navigate to the location of the jar file that you want to sign.  Then enter something like this:

  sign_webutil

  Copy the jar newly signed in the appropriate directory.  Then stop and restart WLS_FORMS and repeat the test.

  No you can not connect oracle database 11g r2 to forms or reports 6.
  Forms and reports builder 6/6i support for 10 g.
  so you have to shoft your forms and the report on the developer 10g or heigher costume.

• Peuvent Test pots customized with form 6i-> Client/Server performance?

  I want to test Jar files with Forms 6i in my office, but I can't get the handle shape-> Web to work. Is it possible for the run-time load just for PJC pots when you run shape-> Client/Server? So far, when I did, it does not perform any CJP. Any ideas, tips?

  You cannot use CJP when you run client-server.

• Update database with form Jdeveloper

  I have an editable form and a button "submit" in my jspx page. When I open the page in firefox, it gives me the form and I can make changes to the data in the fields.   Before starting to build custom to the Enterprise Oracle Business Suite (EBS) extensions I highly suggest that find you a job working firstly with EBS so you can learn the framework of EBS and how the various parts work together. Also, I recommend that consult the library of Documentation of Oracle Applications . Oracle is very clear on how to add customizations to the EBS.

• Automate the name of file with form data

  We seek to use Adobe sign for our forms of active release in our office - everything is going well so far, I was just wonder if there is a way to change the file name of the completed form using the form data?

  For example, once the form has been signed, it is just registered as 'agree active form' - However, before signing, we find the serial number of the asset and the user, it is associated with. Is it possible for the file name automatically and then say "Okay - USER - active form SERIES" or even simply the username if possible?

• too many 'disconnection by cleanup' with forms

  We use forms (11.1.2) with weblogic server (10.3.6.0) on Windows 2012 r2.

  Database is Enterprise edition 11.2.0.4.0 on 2012 Windows r2.

  There are about 10 sessions of both forms and 100 user connections to the database per day.

  Every day, I have 1 to 10 'disconnection by cleanup' event in dba_audit_trail.

  Forms still lives on the desktop of the client, but the connection with the database.

  I can reproduce a "cleaning session closure" by killing the formweb.exe on the weblogic server.

  My question is why the oracle connection is broken between the database and the weblogic authentintion?

  Is there a good way to establish a connection between these two servers?

• Problem with form while looking in the browser

  I have a form I built and want to send the whole pdf to a url.  I added a submit with an action on MouseDown button to submit a form. When I open the pdf file in Acrobat DC or Acrobat Reader DC he works perfectly.  However, when I open the pdf file in the browser (and not in the stand-alone software of the real acrobat reader) I get a "Adobe Acrobat" error saying "error opening URL to submit this form.  I am 100% sure that I use the adobe acrobat reader plug-in in the browser and I tried to open the file in the browser on both the local and a remote computer server accessing the Web page.

  Is there a reason why I get this error in the software acrobat reader browser but not in the stand-alone software?  Any ideas would be useful.

  On a side note, I'm doing this because I need to save a copy of the PDF (filled by the user) for the server and the only way I know how to submit the pdf... and from there I a Manager php to from there.  If there is no solution for the question above isn't another way to trigger the pdf file to save on the server after it has been changed (not on the page loading)?

  Ahh, I think I found the problem... You may need to provide the URL of the PDF form that is placed on your site, so when he responds with TOT it will load the PDF file of the URL; in the contrary case; the TOT doesn't know which form to fill out. Also; be sure to choose IE or FF web browser by default in your operating system. because it can automatically open the PDF file with the default browser.

  CHANGE FROM: Found in (the public service make_pdf)

  And don't forget to change "http://www.your-domain.com/path/to/pdfdoc.pdf" to your real URL in the blank PDF file sitting on your website; and the PDF is accessible to the user submits the form.

• Weird problem with forms and the definition of multiply

  I'm having a problem with the forms drawn with the pen tool and this weird border (no stroke). It appears when the transparency settings are changed (multiply, overlay, etc...). I've updated AI CC and restarted the program with no fix. The only known cure is to add a line to the object. Any help is appreciated! Thank you
