JDK 1.5 with JDeveloper 10.1.2

Hello
I use JDeveloper 10.1.2 which came with JDK 1.4. I need to use the enum function, which is no longer available after the JDK 1.5. So I tried to change the version of the J2SE in JDK1.5 in JDK 1.4 project properties window.
I get the following error when compiling.
Error: initialization error: class file has wrong version 49.0, should be 45.3 or 46.0 or 47.0 or 48.0 on classpath D:\Programs\jdk\jdk1.5.0_16\jre\lib\rt.jar;D:\Programs\jdk\jdk1.5.0_16\jre\lib\i18n.jar;D:\Programs\jdk\jdk1.5.0_16\jre\lib\sunrsasign.jar;D:\Programs\jdk\jdk1.5.0_16\jre\lib\jsse.jar;D:\Programs\jdk\jdk1.5.0_16\jre\lib\jce.jar;

How to solve this problem? I want to use the enum function and cannot change it as impossible from in JDeveloper 10.1.3. Other options?

Theoretically, you can use the JDK 1.5 as the compiler for your project JDev 10.1.2. But you have JDK 1.4.2 to launch the JDev IDE.

As Shay said, why bother with an old and obsolete JDev version when there are two versions of new and improved?

If you have need for some Oracle ACE 10.1.2 things you must be aware that Oracle AS 10.1.2 is not certified with JDK 1.5 is...

  • Measures to develop the Web Application with JDeveloper 11.1.1.6.0

    People,

    Hello. I have implemented PeopleSoft Campus Solution 9.0 revision 5 for a University.

    I need to develop an application for Admission online for future student to apply for admission.

    My installations of PeopleSoft are below:

    Server machine: Oracle Linux 5.10 (64-bit)

    Client computer: Windows XP Professional (64 edition) with the Internet Explorer browser

    Architecture Internet Oracle Linux 5.10 Server:

    (1) database server: Oracle Database 11 g version 11.1.0.6.0 is

    (2) the server application: Tuxedo 11 g

    (3) web Server: Web Logic 10.3.6.0 and JDK 1.7.0_09

    (4) browser: Firefox Mozila

    (5) two Instances of huge database on the database server: 8.53 PeopleTools and Campus Solution 9.0.

    To develop the application for Admission online, I made the 4 parties with WebLogic 10.3.6 and JDK 1.7.0_09 as below:

    (1) install ADR (Application Development Runtime) 11.1.1.6.0 (64-bit)

    (2) install the RCU 11.1.1.6.0 to create the scheme of OWSM_MDS (32 bit)

    (3) create a WebLogic 'Domain_CS' domain in WebLgoic 10.3.6.0 in support of MARC 11.1.1.6.0.

    (4) install JDeveloper 11 g 11.1.1.6.0 Studio Edition including WebLogic 10.3.5.0.

    The development environment for the online application for Admission is JDeveloper 11 g 11.1.1.6.0 Studio Edition. I just installed this PeopleSoft system. I don't have any experience using it. The first step is to run the command:

    $./quickstart.sh

    JDeveloper 11g Quick Start Menu appears as below:

    1) start with WebLogic Server 10.3.5

    (2) launching Oracle JDeveloper 11 g

    (3) set up areas for Oracle ADF

    (4) access Oracle JDeveloper 11 g Documentation Online

    (5) domain upgrade to version 10.3.5

    (6) access online documentation

    I don't know the outline of comprehensive measures to develop the Web Application with JDeveloper. We will understand that it out by steps associated with Quick Start Menu.

    My questions are:

    (1) do I need to create or extend a field in WebLogic 10.3.5.0?

    (2) how to develop the Web Application with JDeveloper? How connect JDeveloper with WebLogic 10.3.5.0?

    (3) how to configure the domain for the ADF ADF being installed in another directory?

    (4) folk would provide the outline of measures to develop the Web Application with JDeveloper?

    Thanks in advance.

    Sorry, I don't work with AAWS or PeopleSoft products. You have searched on Google for samples?

    Ultimately AAWS are just web services that allows you to collect and send data. You create the user interface as you would for any web service based on the model layer. Start with samples for the integration of web services in the ADF to familiarize yourself with the process and then try to get some data of AAWS.

  • Problem with running/debugging applications java jvm 64-bit ander with JDeveloper

    I develop an application that works with very large volumes of data and I need to allocate more than 4 GB for heap space. I have windows XP x 64 and 64-bit, bat JDeveloper jvm does not work with the 64-bit jvm. How can I launch my java on 64-bit with JDeveloper jvm?

    If you want to use a 64-bit jdk, it's simple

    1 make sure you have a jdk installed 64-bit
    2. download installation generic jdev 11.1.1.4. 11.1.1.4 is the first version to support a 64-bit on windows jdk
    3. install jdev, ensuring that you are using the 64-bit jdk

    But I have no doubt in this section

    Install the JDK 6
    After downloading the JDK 6, follow the installation instructions provided in the package to install the JDK for each node in the application layer. Make a note of the new JDK 6 installation directory of higher level; the full path will be abbreviated as [JDK60_TOP].

    How to do? and in which folder should install?

  • How can I change the data stored with JDeveloper Java classes?

    Hello!
    First of all, I am experienced PL/SQL coder, but I'm quite beginner what comes to Java.
    JDeveloper is also a new tool for me and the reason why I am interested, it's the good Java Editor.
    With the good Java editor I can create classes and store them in the Oracle database and executing those inside PL/SQL code.

    I am currently faced with a minor problem, and I'm not able to find the answer to this:
    How can I change/edit/create stored with JDeveloper, Java classes to database (Toad for Oracle can do but it's not good editor Java)?

    I can navigate to Java classes with database browser, but I can't change those. Just view and drop it.

    JDeveloper is not a direct modification of the classes inside the database. Instead, you must change your java classes locally (including the management of versions, unit tests etc.) and then load them into the database. Load in the datab ase could be done using the Loadjava and the deployment profile stored procedure Java (file-> New-> General-> profiles of deployment-> Loadjava and Java Stored Procedures). I think it's even better let your build tool do the work. An example of task of Ant describing this is shown at http://davidmoten.blogspot.com/2007/11/oracle-loadjava-ant-task.html (I have not tried this, but have used a similar approach in a project)

  • JDK. DIO with Java SE instead of Java ME

    Sorry for posting in the Java ME Community. It's really a question SE with libraries of jdk.dio me.

    After my problems not solved with opening/dev/servoblaster pipe of Java ME (see my other post), I went to Java SE and added jdk.dio, netbeans libraries both on IP to raspberries.

    Opening servoblaster works very well but now a new problem:

    I am trying the same code that worked perfectly in Java ME to open a GPIO PIN for entries, as shown below. Doing this in Java SE with jdk.dio causes a nullpointerexception on the last statement when I try to check if the PIN is open. I get the same error when I try to set a value for the axis. No error message on the declaration of DeviceManager.open.

    Because it works without problem in the Java ME environment, that I suspect is has something to do with the installation of the remote device and the related authorizations.

    I SE the remote device configuration is different and I think I don't see approval in the same way as for a Java ME embeddeddevice. In netbeans, I defined the Pi as a platform for remote execution and during the generation, it connects and compile without problem.

    Permissions, I put on the invoice, pro forma. Since I found the safety instructions fairly clear, I added GPIOPin GPIOPort and DeviceMgmt permissions to several folders (better safe than sorry :-))

    /dev/test/Java.policy

    usr/lib/JVM/JDK-8-Oracle-ARM-VFP-hflt/jre/lib/security/java. Policy

    / HOMR/pi/NetBeansProjects/MyProjectName/dist/GPIO. Policy

    but it does make a difference.

    I've also set the pins GPIO B + extra in /dev/config/dio.properties-raspberrypi

    No idea why it does not work? All advice appreciated.

    Kind regards

    Willem

    try {}
    HCSR04Receive = DeviceManager.open (config2);
    } catch (IOException ex) {}
    Logger.getLogger (hcsr04me.class.getName ()) .log (Level.SEVERE, null, ex);
    }

    System.out.println (HCSR04Receive.IsOpen ());

    Thank you

    I solved it myself a minute ago.

    I found this article: https://www.voxxed.com/blog/2014/12/device-io-api/ and then followed step by step, applying to my project.

    He ran my project without problem and between listing 3 and 4, he copy a number of files with the command cp - r/build/deviceio/lib / * home/pi / $ JAVA_HOME/jre/lib (although you need to run it as sudo and it only says not in the instructions).

    After that she also connected my NetBeans project, so I guess that these missing files caused problems.

    So now I'm going to continue my project using:

    • Java SE in order to open/dev/servoblaster, which is not possible in Java ME
    • using PI4J with WiringPi libraries for implementing good implementation of the software PWM
    • using the jdk.dio for any other control gpio libraries

    Thank you

    Two possible problems. First of all is that your web - inf folder may contain temporary files in the temp folder classes, that you can remove. Then your browser is used memory cache instead from the server.

    To test the second case try the url of another browser and see is that you can see your changes.
