JDS for eclipse 1.1. Beta - signing keys

The function 'Import existing keys' can't find my keys despite my triple check that I have provided the right library.

Anyone got this feature?

Yes, I got this job. In the 'bin' folder I stressed in my previous installation and she imported them.

  • Loading in Eclipse signing keys

I received my two SJC files for signature by e-mail. Eclipse asks a .zip file when you request the signing keys. I checked the docs and I can't find information on how to create this .zip file or what steps I have to take after receiving the email. I followed the link to the help key signature page, but there seems to be no section for the native SDK.

What should I do after receiving the SJC files?

    Thank you

These temporary files in order to activate your account, after activation, you can throw away them.

To activate start IDE, go α fenΩtre-> preferences-> BlackBerry Tablet OS->

Then click on the link that activates the wizard. Follow the wizard, asked about the signature

  • Signing keys for different from Android NDK bar signing keys?

I've already implemented the dev environment and I signed and sold since Android apps and games.

Just downloaded NDK and I was wondering what I need to ask another key of song to sign NDK apps or the same keys will work?

No, you don't need new keys.  The same code signing keys can be used in all the PlayBook and BlackBerry 10 SDKs.

  • Sign keys issue or rule?

Hello. I have question? I bought sign keys and install them in JDE 4.2.1 and all is well. When I tried to use the same keys for JDE 4.1.0 then I was unable to use files: sigtool.csk, sigtool.db, sigtool.set to sign my application, why? Also for more advanced JDE I'll be able to use these keys, or just for specific JDE in virtue of what I install?

    Thank you.

Hi all I found the Solution.

Go to your \bin folder of the version of the JDE who you can connect (by default: C:\Program Research In Motion\BlackBerry JDE 4.2.1\bin) and COPY files the 4 following four:
    -sigtool.db
    -sigtool.set
    -sigtool.csk
    -SignatureTool.jar

If you could navigate to the \bin folder of the version of the JDE, you want to be a signing, but do not proceed and PASTE the files there (by default: C:\Program Research In Motion\BlackBerry JDE 4.1.0\bin), you should be able to copy your signing privileges. This process can be performed for several versions of the JDE, as well as the Eclipse plugin eJDE.

    Enjoy.

So I need key for them signing. If I buy a single set of the signature key, can I put for all projects and run all the applications of terminal BlackBerry?

you don't need to buy keys, you can simply order these keys using link

by using the same keys several times to eclipse is given on the link following pls consult

  • Lost signing keys

I have a question, I have published several versions of a product... I lose my sigtool files so I asked new code signing files, I have already installed the new keys, so I would like to know if is there any problem if I register my files with this new key at the time release a new version of the product?

    Thanks in advance!

If it is an application BBOS, you can sign the new version with keys no problem different code signing.  Code signing keys should remain the same for BlackBerry 10 applications.

Also note that [email protected] is no longer controlled.

  • New signing keys

    Hey guys

Thank you for your support, the last time I had questions.

I have developed many applications PlayBook with WebWorks.

Today, I wanted to get one of them running on my DevAlpha camera.

I had the same problem as this guy here:

    http://supportforums.BlackBerry.com/T5/testing-and-deployment/ripple-deploy-to-BB10-dev-Alpha-failur...

    Here's my output terminal:

    Building:

    1. [INFO] The application of filling source
    2. [INFO] The analysis of config.xml
    3. [WARNING] Build ID is defined in the file config.xml [version], but no signature password was provided [-g]. Bar will be unsigned

    7. [WARNING] Cannot find the debugging token
    8. [INFO] Info: Package created: /.../device/Archiv 2 bar.
    9. [INFO] BAR complete packaging

    Installation:

    2. Info: Action: install and launch

    5. Info: Treatment 311765 bytes
    6. actual_dname:
    7. actual_id:
    8. actual_version:
    9. result::failure 881 the application author does not match the author token of debugging

I ordered new signing keys because mine were only for PlayBook and I needed for BB10.

Then I started GraphicalAid, implemented the last SDK to WebWorks BB10 as 'BlackBerry WebWorks SDK location' and click "Start the Configuration Wizard".

On the last step, I was able to click on "Register New Keys".

    Here comes the problem.

Luckily the program told me this:

"(!) ATTENTION: this action will cancel the registration of that computer, making it impossible to sign applications.  To continue signing applications and the creation of debugging tokens, you must re-enroll to the: http://www.blackberry.com/go/codesigning after re-registration, new versions of your applications appear as new applications, not upgrades, and will not have access to shared data from previous versions.  Are you sure you want to delete your current keys? »

Now, I want to be able to get the BB10 apps running but I also want to be able to release future updates of my PlayBook applications. If updates recognized as new apps I can't use them as updates.

So I have not deleted my key of course, but now I can't test stuff on my DevAlpha using my DebugToken.

I thought it might be because I used BlackBerry Tablet OS graphical help but I don't know too much about.

    Any suggestion guys?

    Please help me.

  • Problem signing key with Chrome Ripple when installing on my Alpha BB10 device

The signing keys created since Blackberry 10 native SDK Eclipse plugin can also be used to sign applications Webworks HTML 5 under construction of Goggle Chrome Ripple Extension?

My directory "C:\Users\dev\AppData\Local\Research In Motion" seems to have the files: author.p12, barsigner.csk... etc. But when trying to install on my 'device BB10 Dev Alpha', the server of the ripple is spewing what follows:

    Build completed, now deploy
    ...

Info: Send request: install and launch
    Info: Action: install and launch

    ...

    actual_id:
    actual_version:
    result::failure 881 missing signatures

Problem I think was that I had no "Enable Remote Web Inspector" checked and maybe even used the wrong PIN number (confused 0 o) and 8B.

  • I forgot the password of the Code signing key

Hi, I got the signature key (csk file) by registering on blackberry, but for some reason, I forgot my password... When I try to sign my code it ask me password... I googled a lot to find a way to recover my password, but no avail... Can someone please tell me how to recover my password for the key signature or any other way that i can reset my password... Any kind of help would be appreciated... Thanks in advance...

This is an old thread... but since it's one of the first results in a Google search, I wanted to bring an answer here.

It is not possible to recover your password for BlackBerry Code signing keys.  However, you can choose a new if you reinstall your keys.  The first thing you need to do is to order a new set of keys (free) using the form below.

    https://www.BlackBerry.com/SignedKeys/

Before installing your keys, find and delete the files below that will be present in the various BlackBerry development tools installation directories (location varies by tool).

    sigtool.DB

    sigtool. CSK

    sigtool. Set

You will now be able to install your new CSI files and choose a new password.

  • Plug-in for Eclipse: how to compile a source in several binary files?

    Hello gurus of BB,.

recently, I spent my development environment of JDE for the plug-in for Eclipse (mainly because the new Blackberry7 is only available for Eclipse). I was able to transfer my apps; one thing remains to be done.

Knowledge, I would like to compile the same source in two applications: a Lite and a full. Source code, as I said, is completely identical for both; the only difference is in the metadata (icon, name of the application, etc.) and in the fact that once the compilation of the version Lite, I #define a variable (in the source code, there is a certain //#ifdefs).

How could I do in Eclipse? In JDE, I simply create a workspace and two projects (.jdp files) inside they can share sources. But in Eclipse, the Application descriptor does not seem to support that?

Eclipse is very deficient in this way.

That's why I use Netbeans + BB Ant tools to do all my Blackberry development.

It provides very easy access to the configurations, a great support for ANT and support of editor/preprocessor much better compared to Eclipse.

I losers to Eclipse debugging Department, so I created an ANT script to copy the files required in JDE and use it for debugging/profiling.   It is possible to get Netbeans to work with the debugger, but requires a lot of work and is obviosly a config not supported.

A click or script executed and I have 12 + packages of different distribution ready to be distributed OTA/Desktop/BES all carefully packed in their respective folders.

Configurations + several builds support has been expressed in BB repeatadly plug so far into the team, but no change.   I know that I'm not a point to track down the leads/developers of plugins at each conference of BB and put up a point on the configs... maybe next year that's going to stick

    p. s.

You can get the 7.0 files outside Eclipse... you really have nothing other than the Javadocs and the net_rim_... jar, perhaps Cap updated as well.   All of you who are located in the folder of the eclipse plugin.  Just copy JDE6.0 and replace only the files required with the version 7.0 and you are ready to go.

  • Code signing keys can be used on more than a developer (different PC)?

    Hello

I applied for a set of code a long time ago signing keys.

I installed them on the JDE on my computer... and I was able to migrate them to my new computer always on the JDE, then on the eJDE thereafter.  I had a few problems of migration of these keys, but everything is working well now, I am able to sign my application.

Now, I have a colleague who wants to develop an application using Widgets and there need code signing keys as well.  Can I just send my key itself?  Or he must apply to his own set of keys?

In other words, the code signing keys used to identify a company or developer?

    Thank you!

Each developer must have their own set of BlackBerry Code signing keys.  Sharing the key is against the license agreement.

  • Limit BlackBerry code signing keys

The same set of customer files - RDK.csj and customer - PBDT.csj is usable on multiple computers to create the device debugging token?

The CSJ files themselves can be installed once.  But after they have been installed, you can save your code signing keys and restore them on multiple computers.  See the link below for more information.
