Jobs omitted by error: username/password invalid name

I control grid on linux and I have installed the agent on windows. Everything works very well. But when I plan some work to jobs grid control have omitted by error: Invalid username and password.

grid control want to belong to a specific group or something. Has nothing in the grid of control over this kind of permissions, I need the server to accomplish these tasks.

y at - it a group or user name, I must add my jobs on the server windows to accomplist to success.

Make sure that the Windows OS user, submitting jobs has the privilege of "connection as a batch job":

http://download.Oracle.com/docs/CD/B19306_01/install.102/b14316/postcfg.htm#BABFAEIG

Gridcontrol requires that you specify ID username/password for the host where the agents run.

You seem to have put the os_authent_prefix to a pair of double quotes. This is not going to work! You must erase it completely, the use of quotes twosingle. Like this:

    orclz >

    orclz > alter system set os_authent_prefix = "scope = spfile;

    Modified system.

    orclz > force boot

  • Data Guard - ORA-17627: ORA-01017: username/password invalid name

    Hello

I have a strange behavior with a Data Guard on Linux and Oracle 11.2.0.2 environment. Since a few days, I have the following error in the database pending alertlog:

    Errors in the /u00/app/oracle/diag/rdbms/SID_site2/SID/trace/SID_pr0f_22728.trc file:

ORA-17627: ORA-01017: name of user and password invalid. connection refused

ORA-17629: unable to connect to the remote database server

First of all, I rebooted apply it on the day before without any modification. So I tried to connect to the primary database to the standby with .net Oracle successfully server. He also works in the other direction.

I also tried to copy the password from the primary server to the standby server and I restarted the transport and apply it.

The error occurs on the day before, but the most surprising, is that the Data Guard is always fully synchronized.

Why I get this error and what is the function of the pr0f process?

How can I solve this problem?

    Hello

Check the underside of a Bug in MOS, I found it with the name of the function ""krsd_get_primary_connect_string " "

  • Sending of username failed. Mail server - answered: username/password invalid name

I read the other two posts about this and tried all of the suggestions, but nothing works and I still get the same problem.
It started a couple of days without change my password or my server.

Re-installation of TBird is a go because I have so many email accounts. All others are working well - all on the same server too.

Server Admin told me that account shows no attempt to access the server.

They see email coming into the server, but no pop/imap connection. If something happens on my end.

    You have any other suggestions?

Really, there is a limited number of options.

    1. your account settings are simply false. Please copy to the Clipboard and paste here the troubleshooting information in the Help menu.
    2. your anti virus is ruin. Try restarting in safe mode Windows with networking
    3. some other security software is messing up. Try restarting in safe mode Windows with networking
    4. you have an add-on which makes life difficult. Hold down SHIFT while you start Thunderbird to put in safe mode it is clean.

  • Message to username/password invalid when you try to connect to the computer on a homegroup.

Original title: Second computer cannot find the domain of the first computer in a homegroup

I have a 2 computer homegroup.  Each computer is says that it is a member of the homegroup.  No matter what computer created the homegroup has no difficulty to access each other, but who later joined can not reach the first.  There is always a message to username/password invalid.  In addition, in the left panel, the computer that joined is not listed under "homegroup" but the computer that created the homegroup sees the one that was added.  This works the same regardless of the order in which everything happens.  I used to think some userid is messed up, but since it works when I reverse the process of creation/join I suspect it's something different.

Found.  It still does not make any sense, but...
Remember that this is always the computer that created the homegroup that is the problem.  When you go through Control Panel / homegroup computers are said to belong to a homegroup.  When you go to networking and click to view the entire map, there is this message that says that you have been invited to join a homegroup.  Don't forget, it's the computer that created the home group.  In any case, logical, if you agree to join the homegroup, you have created - and the "homegroup" says you are already a member-all right.  Works fine now.  Go figure.

About 3 months ago, I started to apply the zone enter the network password in Outlook when I tried to send/receive email.  I was using WIndows 2003.  I worked with my ISP, that would be to delete and recreate my email accounts (sometimes it would work for a day or so, but the problem will come back).  Microsoft has stated that they do not support Windows 2003 and recommended that update for 2007.  A day after the upgrade, the message reappears.  I had my speed of the laptop and hard drive updated and cleaned for any potential problem, but the problem still exists.

  • Getting ORA-01017: invalid username/password error only with specific tools

    Hello
I'm still a Junior DBA familiar with Oracle. I have difficulties to access one of my databases with tools of TOAD and SQLDetective. When I try to connect to my database using these tools, I get the error:

ORA - 01017: name of user and password invalid. connection refused

Even if the password and user name is correct.

I can correctly connect through other tools like SQLTools and sqlplus. I searched on this problem and I've seen people with the same problems, but I could not find a solution. The strange thing is, I can use TOAD and SQLDetective to connect to other databases with no problems. It seems to be present a specific database.

My database is a database 11g on linux machine. I have clients 9i and 10 g installed on my machine. All my applications use the 9i on my machine home tnsnames.

Any help on this would be greatly appreciated. Thank you.

    RGS,
    Rob

Hello, if it is 11g, look at the sec_case_sensitive_logon parameter. This default is true, which makes the case-sensitive password. Some tools/applications do a HIGHER or LOWER on the password and so what can the reason for the error

  • Discoverer 10 g and R12 error - name of user and password invalid

    Hi all

I have R12 and Discoverer Desktop 10.1.2.1 (user and admin) alone on the same Windows machine.

I can connect to the discoverer as the APPS user without problem, create workbooks and EUL and see the data.

However, I can not connect as a user of Apps. I copied the CBD to the Oracle Discoverer House (c:\\oracle\BIToolsHome_1) file.
I didn't update all files opmn.xml but as I don't know which ones to update (if any as it is the only desktop).

    Any help appreciated.

    Thank you

    Alex,

If patch Discoverer Administrator/Desktop does not help, then I suggest connect you an SR and confirm with support of Oracle that you can run these tools without having the patches contained in the following document applied.

    Note: 443661.1 - Discoverer 10g (10.1.2) connect to Oracle E-Business Suite 12 fails with "Invalid Username/Password".

  • Cannot connect through the ORA-01017 Invalid Username/Password database link

    Hello

I have two virtual machines with Oracle 11 g 2 and one with Oracle 12 c installed on RHEL 6

I wanted to install a dblink between the 2, but after you have created the dblink I get error: ORA - 01017 Invalid username/password

Now, I know, the error is clear enough but when I try to connect using netmgr it works

So just to summarize, Oracle 12 c, I'm trying to connect to Oracle 11 g using a DBLINK but I get ORA-01017

Since Oracle 12 c, I created a new service so that I have the remote db alias in tnsname.ora and at the end of the process, when they ask for test connection, I can connect successfully to remote db

Then I created a dblink according to the following:

SQL > CREATE PUBLIC DBLINK LINK DATABASE to CONNECT to

    "hr""" IDENTIFIED BY ' password ' with the HELP of 'REMOTEDB ';

If I then select * from employees@dblink, I get the error

What I've noticed, it is that in the 11g (the target machine) I can not connect with OS authentication, don't know if its related

If i: sqlplus / as sysdba I get ORA-01031 insufficient become

I have to connect to the Linux box as user 'oracle', who is a member of the groups oinstall dba

    Am I missing something?

    Thank you!

    CHRI$ says:

SQL > CREATE PUBLIC DATABASE LINK DBLINK TO CONNECT TO

    'hr' IDENTIFIED BY 'password' with the HELP of "REMOTEDB";

You will probably have to create the link without containing the user name and the word in double quotes.
