• VeriStand "Custom Device" creation, including the different types of sources of code for simulation only

  Before I ask my questions, I want to describe my problem:

  I would use VeriStand on a PXI system for simulation only. The simulation includes different types of sources such as Maltlab-Simulink-models, MultiSim SPICE models and code LabView for FPGAS-programming. Simulink models are available as a dll-file, generated with 'Real-Time-Workshop' and 'Simulation tool Kid. " They need to generate heavy duty, calculated by the modulation of the vector space and model the performance of a special converter. The MultiSim model will be transformed via a special VI in LabView code. I can generate code VeriStand (--> NI VeriStand--> Generate tools...). The PWM duty cycles of this dll matlab above are for LabView FPGA code entry. This will be the entrance of the gate of the tansistors of the MultiSim-model. Means, space vector modulation generates tension of the door and get the FPGA code to the ports of the inverter model.

  I am new in programming with VeriStand and LabView. I don't know how I can handle this. But NEITHER says it's possible. So my questions are:

  Is it possible to use VeriStand with more than one device Costum and simulate as a whole simulation. How can I associate different files.

  If this isn't the case, that I have to build a LabView Vi, where all the different sources of models are included.

  Is a walkthough or a user guide available, that I can use to fix my problems.

  I hope you can help out me. I need it for my bachelor thesis very fast. Thank you for your attention.

  We have two databases and for two of them, the configuration is as below

  Version of the operating system: Solaris 5.10

  DB version: 10.1.0.4

  For security reasons, I'm going by names of junk. Assume the names of database DB1 and DB2.

  We have a table T1 S1 schema of database DB1. to extract data from this table in DB2 in schema S2, we created a database DB1 and DB2 (lets say the name of dblink is XYZ)

  In DB1, in table T1, we have a column by name SYS_CREATED and its data type is varchar2(40 char).

  After you create the database link, below we have the table as desc

  DESC S1. T1@XYZ

  When we describe this statement, instead of showing the value of data type of column SYS_CREATED as varchar2(40 char), it's showing as varchar2(160 Char).

  Then, we created a table in DB2 under schema S2 as below

  SQL > create table S2. T2 in select * from S1. T1@XYZ;

  and now, when we describe the table T2, its original display value is varchar2 (40 Char).

  Then just when we described, it shows a higher value for the data type and when we create the table, his watch even than the original. In addition, what is happening to only varchar2 datatype. other data types such as number or tank remain same even when we describe.

  See the attached code. I use a reminder VI and must pass a few references via the user's settings. I use a table.

  This is to avoid the constraint (should I care?), I type cast to more of a generic class, then in the callback function, go to a more specific class. (What is the best way to do it?)

  As you can see, even if, for some reason, almost all the nodes property are reading as variants, forcing me to use data Variant, which seems inefficient. Why is this the case? If I type cast to a Boolean, the value should be a bool... Why force me to use for the data range?

  If you use a cluster of istead of a table, you can maintain the rigour of the reference.

  The reason why you have found variants is that you don't are not cast the ref to the same type. Try...

  Hand, create a strict constant of the wire Ref. Make slide a constant in the call back VI and use it when you launch as more specific. Property nodes you adapt to the specific data type they have in hand.

  Note:

  You can also create references of the appropriate type by dragging the appropriate type of control in the Ref control and it will fit.

  I searched this forum, the forum FAQ and AE at Creative Cow... can't find a post related to my specific requirements. It would seem that I'm doing isn't rocket science and After Effects (version CS5) should be able to do so without resorting to scripting (I hope)?

  I will deal with a large number of videos where I need to synchronize the animations with dozens of times during each audio video. I have 8 different graphic animations that are common between all the videos.

  
  I understand the wick on the removal of "markers" on the timeline, by using the ' * ' when previewing audio keyboard shortcut. But who doesn't tell me the 'type' of the marker when I come back and associate a particular animation with each of them, for example:

  'Type A' marker... button animation

  ... Switch 'Type B' market slide to left animation

  Marker 'Type C'... switch to slide to the right animation

  
  

  etc etc. Ideally... some "shift/ctrl + number" by sequence keyboard to place AND identify the marker during his fall on the timeline?

  There are no types of different markers, plain and simple, then there may be no shortcut secret or whatever. The markers are placeholders just generic to associate specific metadata at a point in time or as a minor of the temporal beacon here, nothing more. They have no built-in logic or a function. So no matter how much you want to ignore, scripts or manually add comments is the only way to add logic for them, who then may serve as a reference or be addressed in expressions. For something more fancy, probably a dedicated interactive content authoring environment (Flash, Director, unit etc.) is more appropriate. Your use of the case exactly as it sounds.

  The way to do this is through a database database link a to b data.

  In the database, when you are logged in as aa, do:

  create database link b connect to bb identified by ...password-here... using 'tns-alias here';
  

  Then you can access table bb.bbb, while plug as aa, like this:

  select *
  from bbb@b
  /
  

  And you can register as follows:

  select *
  from aaa
        ,bbb@b
  where ... join conditions here...
  /
  

  Alternatively, you can create a synonym private inside the aa for bb.bbb table schema:

  create synonym bbb for bbb@b
  /
  

  So, you can join as follows:

  select *
  from aaa
      , bbb
  where ... join conditions here...
  /

  I connected a digital relay to one of the outputs. I have installation wizard DAQ to operate a valve with the relay. Now, I want to control the valve to drive all... .lets say 20 seconds, until I stop the program. What I need, is to change the State of each 20 seconds. I tried to use the "Out of time", but when I try to connect 'elapsed time' 'Data' on the ass of data acquisition. It reports on the different types of data. What would be the way easy and clean to use a "timer" to operate a relay on a basis of time fixed and periodic? Thanks in advance!
