• Journal entries of false IP addresses in the VPN session

  I noticed a very strange problem on ASA5520 running version 9.1 (1). Whenever a VPN user disconnects (or expires or gets disconnected with force), a journal entry refers to the IP address that is not the user's IP address. It is one of the examples where the 196.95.116.118 IP address is logged:

  So far, I have captured about 7 of these IP addresses and they all model x.x.116.118. This is the list:

  24.80.116.118
  60.57.116.118
  84.104.116.118
  164.78.116.118
  180.18.116.118
  196.95.116.118
  202.89.116.118

  None of them are related to any of my clients or the company itself. In addition, they do not belong to my ISP. In all of the features VPN and ASA are not affected. Anyone who would have knowledge or idea where these addresses are known to and why they have this strange pattern?

• Weird acting HFM 11.1.2.3 journal entry

  Hi all

  We have just improved 11.1.2.1 to 11.1.2.3, and there are some strange events in the log entry module.

  We attended a few times when trying to enter the debit or credit the newspaper, the cell suddenly only accepts a single number and replace guard if we try to add something.

  For example, if we want to enter 456, it goes from 4, then replaces it with 5, then 6 (as if we have reached the keyboard insert key). The only way that we are able to enter 456 is to save the journal entry, close it and then re-open it.

  Like all the world sees this behavior before and how can fix us this?

• Journal entry for the Runtime Error FDM

  Hi all

  I'm trying to run a Script to load batch Standard, but I still have the same error.

  I realized a FDM Appication, loading bacth script and data file (with that name 1 @JDE@Actual_Inp@August@RR ).

  Adapter, import formats, maps and location seems ok.

  THIS IS THE ERROR LOG:

  I don't know that I correctly interpreted your question, simply made the need to identify the manual papers have been posted on these accounts (revenues and cost of goods sold)?

  If Yes, then this can be achieved simply by running the account analysis report (report > apply > Standard in the GL Menu). Specify the natural represents your company uses for the recipes and the COGS and order the report by 'Source' (at the bottom of the dialog box parameter before submitting the report).

  All manual journals with being grouped (the source (manual) appears in the left column more).

  If you go to the discoverer or a simillar product you could just specify the range (s) account and add a condition where newspaper Source = 'Manual', this would avoid to return rows that you are not interested in.

  If I have misunderstood the requirement, please can clarify you and I will try to help others.

• AR: Journal Entries report convert to Excel using XML

  Hi all
  
  The customer asks to add a column and change the output to Excel format (using the XML publish) the standard report "AR: Journal Entries Report" whish is generated...
  I know that the report calls another report called "Journal entries report - out" with a few parameters one of them is "P_LAYOUT_DESCRIPTION" which may be 1 of these values
  Print account details, print details by category, print summary by account, print the summary by category
  and each of them has a different layout
  
  Now, I want to know
  1 - the ability to add a column to this report (SPAWNED)
  2 - the ability to translate the output as EXCEL, PDF, RTF (using XML Publisher)
  I know that the steps of how convert a XML report using the definition of data and model, but the program laid 'Journal Entries report - Output' calls specific parameters and does not mention the name of the template that will be used or the type of the output model
  as if I'm going to create 4 models for each presentation how to let the main report called the output report, which gives the correct model to be displayed

  Can you post a journal entry on an account where the IsCalculated property is enabled?

  HFM allows you to create and save a journal on a calculated member (of the account or any other custom dimension), but it won't let you post it.

  Calculated members (not only the accounts) don't accept data entry, no matter how you chose to enter the data, which means that you can not publish values, journal entries, or load data on these members.

• Restoration of the Journal entries and of depreciation?

  Let us say a user has done the steps below:
  
  1 / execution of depreciation, but has not closed the period
  
  2 / depreciation process will create journal entries in GL
  
  3 / the user has posted these GL journals.
  
  Since the period is not closed to users want to roll back the depreciation.
  
  Amortization of the restoration, it is required by the user to roll back the log entries that are created.
  
  Since the journal entries are posted already can we run reduce journal entries in FA and then roll back depreciation?
  
  What is the financial impact there?

  We tried to validate the journal to the FDM server entries then we had this error "Failed to Post newspaper RF_IntangAmort- reason is) attempt try again."
  Value violated the integrity for a column or table constraints. "and the error code is -2147217873. We have Hyperion 11.1.2.2 on Linux from IBM and oracle enterprise DB 11.2.0.2

  I thought that was the problem. The question we were used "copyapplication" tool for copying data from prod sort sequence id, dev was out of use with the data, then we have corrected it.

  Event: during the loading of 6 million records from table Oracle TimesTen to group cache.

  You have configured your control point and logs on the same filesystem / disk:

  Data store = * / ttcache1/ttcache1
  LogDir = * / ttcache1/newspapers

  It's a bad idea in any case (see previous posts of Chris Jenkins), but the error is simply to say that you have run out of disk space on the drive containing the transaction logs. A k /ttcache1 FD must confirm. I guess that your transaction logs is not purged, perhaps a way to bookmark in newspapers is the cause of their outfit. If you are able to connect to the data with ttIsql store, run the command 'ttlogholds of appeal' to see a list of existing bookmarks.

• Not able to view Journal entry in Hyperion

  We try to post an entry in the job log, but not save or post and also receive "voilated of integrity on the table in the column constraints. Any idea?

  The question that happens on a database was created using the copyapp utility? If so, discover the artcile below in the KB of Metalink (which essentially stipulates to patch the software and/or try a newer version of the copyapp utility).

• Wininit SP2 Vista Business journal entry x 32 does not appear immediately in the Windows Management Console application log after rebooting.

  After planning for a disk check (select Start - computer - local disk c - Properties - tab tools - error checking button now check - active automatically fix errors file system planning only - check disk) and reset, boot disk checking results can be displayed in the Event Viewer - System Tools - Computer Management Console - newspapers - application - source input column named wininit windows.  Now after planning a check disk and restart the entrance of wininit does not display until the next day or even later.  Wininit should appear regularly with the results of the analysis of disk immediately after the restart.  My thanks to anyone who can solve this problem.

• R12 - how to generate a unique Journal for several bills entry

  We observed that in R12, when newspapers are transferred to GL SLA, separate Journal header is created for each invoice AP. This will affect huge negative performance on our existing custom programs.
  
  What we want is when we transfer reviews from AP to GL at end of day every day, so don't that a single Journal Header(like in 11i) generate for all bills.
  
  In addition, what we have observed is by default the name of the Journal header is in the following format
  
  "AE_HEADER_ID +" "+ purchase invoices + ' ' + SOBCurreny.
  
  Example of log name is «5250003 purchase invoices USD»
  
  We are not sure weather that a separate Journal header is created due to the default of naming convenstion. Is what is happening because, by default, the AE_HEADER_ID is in the name of the header of the Journal? If we modify the subledger accounting method and remove the AE_HEADER_ID the name of the entry of newspaper Oracle generates a signle Journal entry on all invoices?
