JPG/JPEG photos?

When you go to MENU > quality, it gives you some quality options such as L - L2 - M - M2 - S - S1 - S2 - S3 - RAW + L and RAW. Which of these quality options allow you to take pictures JPG/JPEG? Thank you, in advance XVGVSTVS.

Everything, except the FIRST options are JPEG image options. The L, M & S refer to resolution of image of large, medium or small size. Alternatively, you can choose the level of JPEG compression when shooting JPEG. The level of compression option is an occon showing a curve either with a rounded edge, moderately serrated edge or very sharp - this indicates the level of compression (curve rounded means less compression and better).

The L with the rounded curve is the highest resolution cameras and the higher setting JPEG quality (apart from the shooting RAW and control settings yourself.)

If the photo is a valid, but just missing the file extension jpg, then just rename the file and add ".jpg" at the end.

Right-click the file, click Rename, type the display name you want to ending with a .jpg file

  • 1. why my pictures save under and open the PDF and no JPG/JPEG format?

1 before, they did automatically in JPG/JPEG, but now, I get to do in JPG format. How can I change this? Help, please. Thank you.

    Hi Vee Emm,

This document explains the file associations. A file association determines what type of program is used to open a file.

  • Need to change the extension to .jpg .jpeg file

My scanner will save an image in jpeg format, but my application requires the extension is .jpg .jpeg instead.  In Windows XP, I could easily change that, but I do not see the extension to rename it in Windows 7.

    Try this
Start > computer > organize > folder options and research > view > uncheck - Hide extensions of known file types

    I hope this helps.

  • How to save JPEG photos with their LR adjustments?

Hello Folks, please forgive this probably stupid question from a new user of Lightroom!

I recently imported some JPEG photos in LR, made several changes that have improved the images (well, I thought they did...) but then for the life of me I couldn't work out how to save the results.

Stored files just show the originals, but in LR, they appeared with all the settings. Tried to export, but with the same result. I don't know I am on what is obvious...

    Any help is appreciated.

Take a look at the of gotcha ten albums LR here

    Your question is number 1.

You do not have record in LR (LR, as it goes along). To see that your changes applied you export and create a new file. LR does not change your original file,

  • JPEG photo is transformed into DAT when sending mail.

    Hello.

I work a lot photos of Pentecost and switched from Windows to a MacBook pro and it works very well.

But when I send a JPEG with Apple mail it turns it into a DAT extension and it cannot be opened after that.

I've tried several ways and asked people who work with pictures (with Mac) if they had the same problems, but I seem to be the only one.

I tried to change the name of the photo, short and long, and choose the right extension.

Can someone tell me what I can do to solve this problem to keep JPEG JPEG en turns into DAT?

all I can get, heubar, is either zip the picture, and send it like that, or there is a checkbox to send easy stuff to Windows, which should be lit, but maybe not. Try it and see what happens. worst case: tell the person that you send, for information on the photo, and then return the .jpg or .jpeg extension, and then save it, and it should turn into something that is working

    Good luck

  • Importing RAW + JPEG photos files times

I put up my Nikon D5100 to shoot RAW + JPEG files when I take pictures. Photos is to import both, when I just want to import JPEG files. Can I separate the two formats and delete the RAW files in pictures? Also, how can I stop the RAW files to import in the first place?

If I search for RAW files in Photos, the program shows them, but when I choose 'Get Info' on them, they show that the JPEG. Really weird...

Yes you are right - this is exactly how it works - to use the RAW format as the original for editing then editing for a photo mode, click on use RAW original title in the menu image - these photos will have a RAW badge on them, others will have a JPEG badge on them--Photos that are found only in a format do not have a badge on them

And I suggest review you both RAW and JPEG shooting and shoot that you want - if you pull them both, and then import that you'll both in Photos - you can use Image capture and import from the camera on the disc and separate form BRUTE of the JPEG and import only the one you want - but even for me it is just logical to the format you want to shoot not the format you want

  • Was a change made? : before the jpeg photo showed up at the upper-left corner of my screen, with a white background for the screen. The image now appears in the center of the screen, and the rest of the screen is completely black.

By the way, when I put the url in Safari, it's the same as before, namely the image appears in the upper left corner, and the bottom of the screen/monitor full is white.

You can try it with this URL to jpeg:
    http://www.antiquegamblingchips.com/Crest/bison.jpg

Yes, it is a new feature in Firefox 11, which was designed to improve the readability of images. You can install the https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/old-default-image-style/, which restores the change if you don't like it.

  • You want to copy raw but only transfer jpeg photos. .

When I downloaded pictures of the camera, I know that to both jpeg and raw as the little j symbol is at the corner of the photo. If I select an image, then press edit, I can change the original in raw photo.  To copy to flash drive raw images, but when I copy, it only takes jpeg image and not the raw image...

Select the photos and export the original unmodified - I think that will get the RAW only

I can't test as I don't shoot RAW and JPEG that I don't see in it - it just wastes space and gives me no benefit

If you open the document in Word and save it as a Web Page...
It will create a separate folder that contains photos.

In Word 2007... go... Office button / Save as / Web Page

Downloaded from where? If you have imported from your digital camera
It may be possible that the files are corrupt. Sometimes this can
occurs when downloading from a photo shooting session when the
    the batteries are low.

Might be interesting to try to change the batteries in the camera with charges
ones and download the photos again. If you have a
internal external media player ir... try to insert your memory card
    and download it from there.

  • How can I associate jpeg photo to my profile on the webpage

How to bind jpeg image to a profile on the web page - I did 2 days ago do not remember how I did it-now a dim memory I'm afraid...?

    Not sure what you mean?

It will probably depend on the web site and the configuration of the profile.

But generally your profile on your website will be an option "Edit profile" shown once you have logged in, and from there, you can usually change your profile picture (called an Avatar). For example, this particular site/profile see (help section) http://answers.microsoft.com/en-us/Page/faq#faqYourProfile3

If you want to use your own jpg, it must conform to requirements (sometimes specified as an array of special size) sites and then just click the button transfer. Then navigate to your required image.

    Sorry if I misunderstood.
