  Now the problem is, the forms are not loaded in the browser.

  The default page while trying to open a form is telling to install file: oaj2se.exe which does not work.

  also I can use firefox (37.0.2) or chrome (42.0.2311.152 m) for EBS.

• JRE 8 update 31 on a Machine of Windows 8 'Java-version' does not

  I work for a software development company. For the moment, we test Java 8 features with our software and the use of Java 8 in our environment. For installation, we use an automatic installation of the .msi file for 32-bit and 64-bit Version of Java 8.

  So far, everything works fine on our test with Java update 31 8 machines. The only thing we noticed is that we had a few mistakes when we were checking the version of java via the console.

  For example, when upgrade us a Java 7 to 8 Java machine, we have first of all uninstall Java 7, restart and then install Java 8. After that the process, we receive an error when we execute the command 'java-version '.

  Error: The "java" command is not found or is written incorrect (not exactly this error, because we have a German version of windows).

  This only happens on machines with windows 8

  On a windows 7, we get a correct output:

  C:\ > java-version

  Java version "1.8.0_31".

  Java (TM) SE Runtime Environment (build 1.8.0_31 - b13)

  Java for 64-bit Server VM (build 25.31 - b07, mixed mode)

  We could resolve the problem on a windows machine 8 by adding the java installation directory in the systemvariable "path." Once the 'C:\Program Files\Java\jre1.8.0_31\bin' is added, the command returns the correct output.

  This work around is not a good option, in my opinion, because I don't want to install some GPO crazy to hardcode the installationdir in the systemvariable. I think that the installer must handle this task for me.

  Someone here run into similar problems with java on windows 8 at or someone knows a better way to solve the problem?

  Your "workaround" is your solution. The Java installer does NOT change the path. Any change in the path must be carried out by the user.

  Another alternative is to create a simple "java.bat" file that is located in a directory that is located on the path.

  This batch file can add the entry appropriate to the PATH environment variable and then launch Java.

• Firefox does not accept java plugin

  I need to get firefox to accept a java plugin to print on my dymo labeller in Amazon seller "scan and label.

  Amazon support told me to download java 7 which I did and it doesn't, then told me to go in java under the tab 'Advanced' settings and activate "Mozilla family" to "Java for browsers by default" whenever I try to do this adjustment will not save and I think that the firefox browser is shut down.

  I had the same problem. Fortunately, I found that the 32-bit version of Java still works in Firefox (64 - bit does not). So here's my solution:

  1. uninstall your Java Runtime Environment course.
  2. for JRE 7 go to http://java.com/en/download/manual.jsp and click "Windows Offline (32 bit). Download and install "jre-7u60-windows - i586.exe".
  2B. for JRE 8 go to http://www.oracle.com/technetwork/java/javase/downloads/jre8-downloads-2133155.html and click on "Windows x 86 offline. Download and install "jre-8u5-windows - i586.exe".

  It could be that the installed Firefox is 32-bit. You can download 64 bit FF here. Also note that 32 bit plugins won't work with 64-bit and next.

• Brand new Veer does not update the app Catalog or something else

  Got a new at & t Veer (it was already unlocked), after have logged you in my existing profile, the phone came, but the App Catalog, has not been able to update itself as well as other applications.  Some of the suggestions in the forum to change the date to July 1 and force the update via the App Catalog, but it did not.  Clear and reset the phone, still didn't work.

  WEBosdoctor'ed the phone and it still has not installed the update (failed).

  Call in the experts to see if there are any other technique not too complicated to solve the problem.  WebOS is 2.1.2.

  I have seen one that required some hacking of level intermediate directories for reset the certificate, but a bit too risky for my basic skill level.

  In your search engine, search for 'Java 1.6' or 'Java 1.6 jre"to download Java

• 881 failure: The Application author does not match debug author token

  Hey guys, I'm a newbie at software development and don't know anything about the other languages except HTML and CSS so I decided to try the apps program to see how it works and if it's the right think for me. I received my 'key' for the playbook and generated and download the Debug Token. My first idea was to put the Hello World app (that I copied on the BB site) on my playbook to see if everything works, but every time I try to download the app, I get "the application failure 881 author does not debug author token.

  I have tried a few troubleshooting myself (make another Debug Token, adding the and a blackbery - tablet.xml with these fields in the config.xml file and) and still nothing. Do you know the guy what is happening and what should I do to solve this problem, so I can download my apps on my playbook?

  For the version of the SDK BlackBerry Smartphone (i.e. BBOS), please note that you need JDK1.6 and there are also 32 bits.

  Can you please try this change (uninstall previous versions of the JDK/JRE) and only install JDK1.6 32-bit (it will automatically install the JRE too.)

  As well, I see a problem in the community newspapers:

  I am building an application that uses the full screen as my main screen.

  On any of the screens, the previous button does not work. It has no effect.

  In my view, that the PREVIOUS key should work by default only.

  My project is built using JRE 5.0.0 and everything works correctly when you test in a simulator running OS 5.0.0. The problem I have is that for a screen scroll does not work when testing on a simulator running OS 6.0.0.

  I have a class derived from screen with a unique VerticalFieldManager added as follows:

  Any value is passed to summaryContent.setVerticalScroll (), the verticalScrollPosition remains at 0. Yet once, this will only occur when you test in a Simulator runs 6.0.0 OS. I do not have a physical device with this OS, so I can't check if the problem is with the version of the OS or the Simulator. I tested on a device and in a simulator running OS 5.0.0 and it works perfectly.

  I finally get it working. The problem is off not to be in the code that I posted originally, but in the input event handlers. Originally, my navigationMovement event handler looks like this:

  The fix was to add the following line at the beginning of the navigationMovement method:
