  You cannot control how, or if, the PDF files are presented in an e-mail. They are just incidental. SOME mail readers will find a PDF attachment and view automatically, in a way or another, perhaps as an image of dead rather than a direct PDF. Some will do it only for the single page PDF. Most don't do at all.

  If you want an interactive email with design and links, you can work with HTML.

  Or, you could put the process in an application process and use Ajax to run it and return some results are needed in Page 1.

  If you don't want to use a Page 2, you can get "Autosubmit" page by adding a new region HTML in the display point 'before foot"on the page. The Source of the region for this would be something like:

  This would require that you have a button (called P2_SUBMIT, or whatever you want) to the Page 2 which is a submit and a branch back to Page 1, triggered by the present. The doSubmit() would be called as soon as it is rendered by the browser, so the page would be submitted immediately - so ensure that it is at the bottom of the page for all elements on the page you need, as well as the button, have been made. You should also consider hiding everything on the page so that the user does not see them - their, all they would see would be Page 1 refreshing. I have used this method in older versions of the Apex and it worked pretty well.

  Your ability to reduce the file without diminishing its quality depends on the quality required for their intended use. If these are intended for viewing on screen, then high resolution pictures can be re sampled or changing the resolution without real change is the quality, as long as the user can say. Number of files use subsets of fonts or the incorporations of fonts. Sometimes you can remove subsets of fonts or embedding the fonts if the font will be on the user's system. Subsets of fonts can save space, but if the pdf is a result of several different sources, desincorporation policies and incorporating a copy of the policy can save space.

  Honestly, the size of 2 MB file is not the problem it once was. However, maybe the pdf not by e-mail at all. There are players on a server as well as a link sent to each user.

  I have a program that generates a postscript and then 'prints' the script in a PDF file using gs.

  The user can opt for the document in landscape format.  The program handles this with the addition of the 'Rotation 90' command early in the script.  It works without problem.  When the user opens the PDF file in Adobe Acrobat, it is displayed in landscape orientation.

  In addition, the user may have a "watermark", adding the document which is the text at an angle of 60 degrees.  This is handled by the emission of the "rotation of 60", then the text of the watermark, then "rotation-60.  This also works without problem.  The resulting PDF file has watermark text at an angle of 60 degrees to the rest of the text in the document.

  The problem is when these two options are used together.  The document is correctly mounted (in orientation landscape with a watermark properly tilted), but it is displayed in Acrobat in portrait, forcing the user to rotate to be able to read it.  When I look at the postscript, it seems OK, just the sum of these two options:

  rotation of 90

  things...

  60 rotate

  ... watermark text...

  turn-60

  ... the rest of the document...

  'Net turnover' is 90, leading me to believe that it would be displayed in landscape orientation, but it is displayed in portrait mode.

  There is no other sizing page not declared in the script.

  How can I get the document to display in the landscape when opened in Acrobat?  Thank you.

  Check to see that the 'gs' (ghostscript) isn't reorienting the page, by default, based on what he thinks is the correct meaning of reading.

  I am the admin of Windows for a University Department and install PC with Firefox all the time. This problem does not occur with every PC I would maintain, only a selection bit (model different laptops with Windows and update 1 8.1.) After uninstalling, I run an application to delete the caches and temporary files and even remove manually the keys to register HKLM\SOFTWARE\Mozilla and HKCU\SOFTWARE\Mozilla. I restart and make sure that the installation folder is deleted after uninstalling.

  Results are the same: after installing Firefox 31, the initial settings for migration, IE or Chrome pop up and after having clicked on the button finish, Firefox starts but does not display the home page of the new user, only a blank page. By clicking on the Options (3 bars) button does nothing. Right click in the appropriate box, the shortcut menu appears, so I can choose to customize, but which opens another tab with subject: Customize the URL and the page is blank. In the right click context menu, I can activate the menu bar and get options from that.

  My last attempt helped a little. I uninstalled Firefox 31, cleaned, removed the profile user Firefox, rebooted and then installed Firefox 30. Initial start-up runs and tells me that I'm not up-to-date and the works of button Options. But I can't always customize.

  Then I upgraded to Firefox 31, but then it's back to no start page, no options button and no customization. I can go down to 30 and get customize practically works again.

The pdf is a 4-page newsletter that I've separated into 4 individual pds but the when I place it in indesign, he wants to pass the original pdf (UN-separated) file.   You crop in the PDF?

  I'm not 100% certain that your problem is, so tell me if I'm wrong. In my example below, I have a cropped PDF. If I placer place in InDesign, and then select crop to: Bounding Box (as in your example), the entire image is available. Cropping in Acrobat is temporary and may be uncropped. When I choose the harvest: harvest (as in my example), it happens only with acreage (in my case, the part in the framing box).

  Play with these settings to see if you get the desired results and report.

  You can right click (or control click if you do not have a two-button mouse) in the toolbar area and choose "more tools", and then scroll down to the 'Page navigation toolbar"and select"number of Page.

  If you use a PDF form which is not a form of eSign, then open the PDF in Reader.

  Go to the fill tool & sign on the right

  You will get the option to sign at the Summit.

  Click on it and sign the document.

  If in the case of the file PDF form has a Signature field in it then you can use the Digital Signature with PDF.
