JSF and Spring view scope
Hi allI am new to JSF and Spring.
We are implementing our project.
We must apply within sight JSF using spring.
On the net I found the code to implement the scope of the display custom next spring
public Object get (String name, ObjectFactory objectFactory) {}
If (FacesContext.getCurrentInstance () .getViewRoot ()! = null) {}
UIViewRoot UIViewRoot is FacesContext.getCurrentInstance () .getViewRoot ();.
Card < String, Object > viewMap = UIViewRoot.getViewMap ();
If (viewMap.containsKey (name)) {}
Return viewMap.get (name);
} else {}
Object object = objectFactory.getObject ();
viewMap.put (name, object);
Returns the object;
}
} else {}
Returns a null value.
}
}
I've implemented view scope in backing bean like this
@Component ("ManageOwnShares")
@Scope ("view")
But in or Dev Environment, he started to say error compilation cannot find the symbol getViewMap() in the javax.faces.component.UIViewRoot class.
We use Jboss4.3, JSF 2.0 and 2.5 spring. Since Jboss4.3 is having an older version of JSF pots, we have new version of JSF 2.0 in pots inside the web-inf/lib path. We have the sequel to reference in the web.xml file entry
< context-param >
org.jboss.jbossfaces.WAR_BUNDLES_JSF_IMPL < param-name > < / param-name >
< param-value > true < / param-value >
< / context-param >
We cannot change the build path to solve the server build.xml compile error. Sinus that the same server is also used for other applications.
Y at - it another way to implement viewscope.
I think you have a classpath confrontation. JSF 1.2 pots and pots of JSF 2.0 are probably get mixed. JBoss 4.2 is an eccentric server at first - half between 1.4 JEE and JEE5. If you want to use JSF 2 then I would consider moving to JBoss 6 or 7 (both of which work perfectly well; I migrated some apps from JBoss 4.2 to these platforms).
In any case, this document:
https://community.JBoss.org/wiki/UpgradeJBossASToJSF2
advise to actually upgrade the version of the JSF, installed in the JBoss instance instead of deploy with your application. JBoss 4.2 does not recognize beans JSF managed as a resource on server, so the EJB injections do not work for example. There is workaround solutions documented, like this:
https://community.JBoss.org/message/522790
But I want to emphasize one point: you use JBoss 4.3, which means that it is without doubt the JBoss Enterprise platform. There is a reason that JBoss itself does not provide JSF 2 - its not supported. JBoss 4.x is too old and its not meet specifications. Even when make you it work, it can still cause unexpected behavior and does not quite work right. Be aware of this.

View scopes and composite video at the same time?
Is it not possible to view video scopes and composite video in the source or program monitors simultaneously? It seems that only the option to view scopes or composite video, but not both (as in FCPX) exist.
I know that I can use the monitor for a film in the timeline panel, but it is not updated live, which is annoying.
Am I missing something?(This seems a silly omission... unless I use my 'man-eyes')
You can open the reference monitor and which has a reach.
Only scopes in the live update program monitor.

Right-click DeptEmp.jsf and select run from the context menu
Hello
Please consider article Oracle Magazine "Catch Me If You Can ' Frank Nimphius
at http://www.oracle.com/technetwork/issue-archive/2013/13-mar/o23adf-1897193.html
In the article, it is offered several times to
«... Right-click DeptEmp.jsf and select run from the context menu...'.»
When you use JDeveloper 11.1.2.3.0 it will result in JDeveloper starting a browser requesting a URL "/ faces/DeptEmp" (without ".jsf").
(Note that in the sample adfc - config.xml has a view with the id "DeptEmp" activity, but for pages without an activity view corresponding to the stream of unrelated task (adfc-config.) (Xml) JDeveloper starts a browser requesting a "/ faces/otherPage.jsf" URL (with ".jsf").)
Still, I wonder if we should really run (JSF) pages, or rather an activity view in the flow of a task?
After running into issues with calling (JSF) page URL rather than controller unbounded ADF task flows view activity URL in another forum thread [1], I try to avoid pages (JSF) (execution of the task-flow unlimited instead) running.
toJohn Stegeman wrote:
But also the Oracle documentation seems to suggest that page running a (JSF) is the way to go (or "a" way to go), see the section "41.2.1 how to run an Application in Integrated WebLogic Server "

at http://docs.oracle.com/cd/E37975_01/web.111240/e16182/deployment_topics.htm#ADFFD22047
So, who is? Is there a preferred way to run? Running a (JSF) page "also recommended"?

Thank you very much
Jan VerveckenHello
Still, I wonder if we should really run (JSF) pages, or rather an activity view in the flow of a task?
The recommendation is to run the activity. I think it's just my laziness to boot from the JSF file in the case of the article (and given my article only has a single page in the workflow unlimited I wonder if my attempt failed, if there was a need for a navigation to another view in the flow of unlimited work). The risk from a page directly, it is a physical implementation of a view that could be used by multiple streams of different tasks (although the common use of the stubborn workflow is to go with fragments of the page, always bounded task flows could be defined using complete documents). His recommendation that you start an activity to view pages in order to ensure the ADFc is used (I wasn't even not aware of 11.2.3 to automatically change request activity instead of the file if there is an activity of referencing).

Vertical wide view and Classic view layouts does not not in Version 38.1.0
I just downloaded V38.1.0 and am unable to see my messages in any of the schemas - seen vertical wide and Classic view. Can you please help?
Thank you.
Alan, I followed a statement previously mailed to a different problem, but it worked - basically, you have to restart Thunderbird with Options disabled. For this - to go to help restart with the Options disabled.
If you then want to turn all your modules, once you have restarted Thunderbird (in safe mode), you can click on Add-ons. This will bring you in the Add-ons Manager. Then click Extensions - highlight each Extension you want to activate, by first clicking the button turn off, it will switch to Enable, and then you're good to go.
I think that the new Add on the calendar is the culprit. I hope that this approach works, thanks for posting if it is not.
Best wishes.

Reset Windows Picture and FAX viewer as the default value for jpeg files after loading of Corel
I put Windows Picture and FAX Viewer by default to open jpeg, tiff and other pictures, so it appeared as an option in the drop-down list to view attachments that have been downloaded. After loading the software Corel Draw, it is now the only option to open photo files even if Windows Picture and FAX viewer is always defined as the default value. How to restore Windows Picture and FAX Viewer as a choice?
Have you looked into the Corel software preferences to see if you can cancel these associations?
There is usually backup keys are created in order to return to the previously used application.

How can Windows Picture and Fax Viewer - I specify the editing program?
I set things up so that Windows Picture and Fax Viewer is the default program when I opened a variety of types of image files, which allowed me to get a quick overview without waiting for a program to load full image editing. What I need to be able to do is to specify which program is then launched by WP & FV when I click on the bottom right of the screen edit button - one with text that says "closes this program and opens the image in edit (Ctrl + E).
If I click with the right mouse button and select 'Open with' and then I can select in the usual list of possible programs, but what I want is to set a default value for each file type so that a left click of the button automatically opens the appropriate program. I tried the "program to choose...". "and"Always use the selected program to open this type of file"route after a right-click on the button, but what is happening is that the selected program then becomes the global default and circumvents WP & FV altogether.
Any ideas?
