  Very confusing. I used it all day, I tried to start the help of one of hyperlinks for a more detailed description in one quick help from windows (Ctrl + H) and it is gone!

  I tried closing LV and restarting, I just restarted my PC and still all I get is the box using LabVIEW in the toolbar, but no application/window behind it that is activated when you click.

  When the switch to LabVIEW help Task Manager task, all other windows are losing focus, but no help is displayed.

  This isn't a direct answer to your question.
  However, the general practice is to password protect you the user account(not the e-mail account), so that nobody else can go to your account and mess with your files etc etc.
