KB2656352, KB2656369 and KB2604092 redetecting updates and reinstall.

Updates Microsoft, KB2656352, KB2656369 and KB2604092 redetecting and reinstall.  I get no error.  He says that the installation was successful each time. But these same 3 updates keep reports as needed.  I'm having this problem on 3 PCs (XP sp3) and on a single server (Server 2003).

Two of these updates are from earlier dates, but this problem started when Microsoft released updates for the month of may 2012.

3 updates all involve them dot net.  (details below):

Security Update for Microsoft .NET Framework 2.0 SP2 on Windows Server 2003 and Windows XP x 86 (KB2604092)
Security Update for Microsoft .NET Framework 2.0 SP2 on Windows Server 2003 and Windows XP x 86 (KB2656369)
Security Update for Microsoft .NET Framework 2.0 SP2 on Windows Server 2003 and Windows XP x 86 (KB2656352)

I tried to uninstall dot net 3.5 and 3.0 (2.0 wouldn't let me uninstall it).  After you have reinstalled 3.0 and 3.5, these same updates are still needed.  I'm stuck in an endless loop...

I think I finally solved this problem.

First, I downloaded the dotnetfx_cleanup_tool.  When I ran, he gave me a choice as to what version of .NET I wanted to clean up.  I chose "All Versions of the .NET Framework".  It ran for about 10 minutes.

Once it was finished, I looked in Add/Remove Programs, and all versions of .NET have now been uninstalled and is no longer.

Then, I downloaded the full version of .NET 3.5 SP1 from Microsoft.  I ran the program (which takes about 15 minutes).  Once completed, I noticed that it had installed .NET 2.0, 3.0 and 3.5.

Then I went on the site of Microsoft Updates and of course, I needed many updates to .NET.  But this time after you download and install, my machine 100% full with no other updates required reports.

Thank you, but it did not work. It is said in my update of Windows patches updated on my pc, then term - %windir% option that aren't located KB numbers.

I wonder if it would be better to remove the .NET Framework 2.0, because it is rearely used. This should then stop updates (I said if all goes well)

  • iPad offers to remove and reinstall applications during iOS updates... who knew?

If your iPad (and without doubt of iPhone and iPod touch, too) is low on storage space, apparently it will lead you automatically remove apps for you, and reinstall their (and the apps data) after the update:

Is this new, or if I've been living under a rock? In any case, this feature seems very convenient!

Thanks for the tip. It's brand new and a very welcome feature. Whereas Apple called IOS 10 their biggest update, I'm surprised that they did not have a big stink top.

  • to update without permissions, then had to uninstall and reinstall the browser

I have Firefox setup to inform me of updates, but not really up-to-date without anything to say so. Today, Firefox itself upgrade v37, is crushed, then would not be re - open. After several re-booting my computer I had to uninstall and reinstall the browser and now it the patch v37. If I wanted to auto-update feature I would choose the option for that, but I did not.

Questions are "why it update when it is not supposed to" and "why he should be reinstalled after it updated itself without permission»

When the message about an update to Firefox being available, the user has to the [first] see this message, which tends to go behind the main browser window if the user is either click on something to the exact instance dialog box appears. And [2nd] say "not now" immediately, otherwise after that 30 seconds the download will proceed without waiting for a response. It's like this since June 2008 when Firefox 3.0 came out.

You can check for problems with the latest version of the Flash plugin and try these:

    • Disable protected mode in the plugin Flash (Flash 11.3 + on Windows Vista and later versions)
    • turn off hardware acceleration in the Flash plugin

  • I had 26 successful updates for SQL Server 2005 SP3 KB970892, but I keep getting a yellow icon who invites me to install it. I uninstalled and reinstalled. I still get the prompt to install the update.

I have Dell Dimension 8100 with Windows XP Home Edition that has Visual Studio 2005 Express installed that has SQL Server 2005 with her. I had a problem with Windows Update and will prompt to install SQL Server 2005 SP3 KB970892 since October 14,2009. I've uninstalled and reinstalled everything first and always kept getting the prompt, then I tried another solution that I got from a forum of symantec. I uninstalled the update again, and then I went into the registry to HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Microsoft SQL Server\MSSQL\Resume REG_DWORD and changed the value decimal from 1 to 0, installed the update and restarted the machine. It worked for the person who posted, but this has not worked for me. I waited a while hoping that Microsoft will come out with a fix for the next monthly update that has not yet happened. If anyone has a solution, please send an email to . I thank very you much for your time.

Perform the steps mentioned below and check if that helps:
