• Keep score on a video Tennis game?

  Hello, I've been recording some of my tennis matches for fun, to help my game and to have enough material to practice my first Pro video editing.

  I would like to have our names in the blue boxes and change score on all points in the white. How it is possible to do in Premiere Pro. My other videos I was editing in Lightworks and got my way of doing this, but in Premiere Pro, I'm sure it's an easier way to do it.

  You apply the effect to the first clip, copy the attributes of this element, select all the other clips and paste attributes. Pretty simple.

• When I click on a link, multiple (and by multiple, I mean a ton) virgins of open tabs. The only way to stop several blank tabs opening must out firefox is completely closed. Do I have a virus or should I change my settings?

  If I click on something to open in a new tab or click on the email from someone open Outlook, instead, a group of empty tabs open. I'm fine with a few empty tabs, but they keep opening. The only way to stop the opening tabs is to close entirely out of firefox. When I try to reopen firefox, blank tabs are again starting to reopen. You can not close out of them pretty quickly because they keep opening. To not open the empty tabs, you must restart firefox again.

  Firefox includes options of how to manage the different types of content in your case that mailto links are probably set to "Use Firefox".   Have you tried to check the event logs to see if something is written in to indicate that the problem exists.  Check in the report section of the system stability of reliability monitor, to see if something is connected that is causing problems.  You may be able to find the last activity of your computer before it crashes.

  Help I lost the password for password keeper.  Is their any way I can reset the password without my previous password keeper?

  I had my backup phone a few days before and was able to restore the previous state with 10 more try and was able to open the password lock after a bit more to try. Everything is good.

  Hello world... I would like to you know a way to restore a few photos.

  1. I had copyed pictures from the camera to my computer

  2. I imported the copy (which was on my HARD drive) of the images in Lightroom (ver.3.3 or 3.0)

  3. I accidentally deleted the original files.

  4. but I found there are still copies of these pictures inside the Lightroom

  5. the photos can be zoom in and out and even turn! In other words, that there is a kind of backups of the original files.

  6. I don't care about the quality, but I really need to restore these images.

  7. is there a way to restore the images?

  I'll post a sample of what I wanted.

  

  See? It is a picture of my little girl. Even if I deleted the original file, I can make bigger it and even rotate.

  It shows only an error message that the file is not there.

  This means that there must be a sort of a backup of the original flles. So please help me to recover these photos

  PS) I know how to capture the screen and I keep this as a final way to get the pictures.

• Reinstalling Windows without installation disks

  Let me clarify some things that I think are made:

  Laptop = ideapad z575 which is a windows 7 64 bit computer.

  Windows wouldn't boot because it has an error since avg and update wondows - avg seem to be ashamed that their driver is the last show at startup but remove avg then showed another driver and it all points to a depth of problem.
  In short, I feel that a reinstallation is the best way forward.

  I saved my data sisters so happy to do a quick format and reinstall of windows 7 - have the serial number sticker, but no disk I do not think that it shipped in all.

  I didn't modify all partitions, but using a utility disk in the back that I was able to access it via the standard boot drive I can put another active partition... now to return back I had to create a bootable utility that I made from USB, it also allows me to inspect the readers through a windows interface.

  So I am here and able to do a lot in the back through my USB. I saw and was able to run a recovery program that is located on one of the partitions. But he told me that something was friends with readers and I think it's because of my defining a different partition as the only active.

  What is the next best step for me it feels exaggerated do not use partition lenovo gave to reinstall windows, hoping I wouldn't need browse and find/download all the drivers, etc... and not to mention updates of bios etc...

  I can say that I have the following discs and back access and access through GUI.

  When I say access via the GUI I found that I was able to do this system revoery options screen when he says click to search the drivers an interface will appear and where I can the eyebrows of all partitions and USB - which was pretty cool. The button says "Load Drivers" and from there, I can choose the partition and try and run one touch back.

  When he first boot from USB it looks like as it is by default and selects a Boot called drive (X and the default folder is the Windows/System32 folder.)

  Here are the disks or partitions I can see and explore

  Lenovo (C 27.5 Free GB GB 28.9 contains just request files and drivers.)

  Local disk (E it looks like there's a Windows installation on it that I can see my sistsers files in the my documents (I got these by using XCOPY to get the complete recursive directory and do be careful if you use just "copy" as it will ignore folders and files inside!)) For me, it's the normal bootable disc and one that is broken.
  349 GB free of 421 GB so this seems to confirm that it is the main trunk and use the partition.

  Local disk (D only 166 199MB MB no said no files and folders at least since the GUI - perhaps back can show me something...)

  Start (X 29.1 MB of free space of 31.5 MB I don't think it's my USB (NOT confirmed) the last modified date is 2009! he seems to have a windows installation - is possible to reinstall from that?) I tried to click on a setup.exe found here but it does not work via the GUI as it comes to find specific drivers is not not a general file Explorer.

  I have 2 drives USB also visible to help me. I got the above files to another on the ERD. And the 3rd is the CD. If these are known as CDROM (F, Reapir disk (G: I did that) and 32 GB Flash (H)

  Maybe I need to burn an iso install wondows in the latter. Who can be a last resort.

  What is perhaps a few right steps to take right now. I think I should be able to change my active partition and get a contact working again by reversing what I was doing back disk partition - don't remember the name... a few trial and error required.

  But I hope that with this info I can get my sisters laptop that works again. I think also that if I took it to a local shop they will simply be to format and reinstall windows 7 and drivers do not care to take the time to maybe get to a situation of factory. It is because the baisc economy. I don't want to go that route because I know I can do what I want to just make the best way.

  I made a vMotions without an authoritative DNS structure just by using the file hosts for awhile now. It is my understanding of how it works, but please do not just take my word for it. I could be wrong.

  I use hosts, and I called VM Ware to complain that vmotion does not work.  I then infer that my servers cannot communicate due to a clerical error in the entry of the guests.  so now, VM Ware said essentially, for reference later we should probably require DNS to mitigate the errors, and since it is done automatically, and it needs SOME hosts to operate and cannot rely on users to be fast enough or thorough to check to make sure that you do not have all the words and then they FORCE users and technicians as well to ensure the correct use of their DNS product now is necessary because it has been proven 2002, people just isn't reliable.

  VM Ware 2009.  DNS is NOW required.

  That's how I see it.  It became a matter of principle to impose the use of DNS, otherwise THEIR product would be based on appropriate documentation, and since you can't design a system depend on the users, you CAN design to work with known systems that work, so DNS.

• Control the behavior of first day of lesson?

  I have a question that could be more LMS related, but I thought that I have post it on a forum of Captivate since I was on Captivate to the happy end of my project. In a Word, my client wants to use a lesson in captivate as both a lesson and as reference material.
  
  Now, when I'm creating a Captivate project and publish the project behavior is as follows:
  1. the user lesson and start meeting slides.
  2. If the user leaves the lesson at the beginning the LMS brand the lesson as "incomplete".
  a. Captivate bookmarking brings them to where they had left it when they enter again in the lesson.
  3. If the user has successfully completed the lesson, the LMS brand as 'complete' (or if it's a quiz, they might have a score).
  a. If the user enters the lesson "full" Captivate (bookmarks, I think) lead immediately at the end of the lesson.
  
  I want the user to go instead to the beginning of the lesson if they re-enter the lesson once second (or third), so that they can review the lesson. I want the LMS to keep the highest score, or at least not too write the previous note.
  
  I put Captivate "never send back data." This allows the user to get a lesson already completed at the beginning of this lesson. Unfortunately, it also resets the complete/incomplete LMS mark data. An already completed lesson could again be marked as being "incomplete" or a lesson already 'spent' could be seen as 'impossible '. This isn't the desired behavior.
  
  Ideally, the user would be able to return to the lesson, starting with the new beginning, keep score, they realized previously and be able to use the 'lesson' as reference material.
  
  I've seen this done with pure Flash, but I would like to be able to Captivate.
  
  Anyone could do such a thing using Captivate? Any ideas?

  If the LMS replaces the previous note with a subsequent note is
  until how behaves the LMS. Some may offer you an option to change this
  behavior?

  With the LMS I use, it will overwrite the previous score if the lesson
  If not yet completed/past, the new score is higher than the former.
  If the lesson is completed/past, this score is never crushed.

  Regarding Captivate resume feature, the only way I know to have users
  back to top once they return a completed course is to put a
  button on the last page that says something like "restart this lesson".
  Clicked and the CP file navigates to the beginning slide
  but (I don't think) resets the quiz data.

  Unfortunately, as far as I know, CP you cannot say 'to bookmark this users.
  location, unless they have completed the lesson, in which case send them
  back to the beginning". You must do this yourself with the last page
  above button workaround solution.

  It's Preview URL of score. The best way to hide this is to use the module Status-4-Evar. With it, you can choose to not display the messages of State or the stationary URL previews, or rather display them in the bar modules or the address bar.

• get out at upgrade iOS on iPad mini

  Hello! My ipad keeps dropping out at half way through the upgrade to the latest operating system. The screen is white with black apple and continuous progress of stop bar before closing. Tried to reset, but always return to the same place after "scan to upgrade" may also go through iTunes because I can't question my iPad to allow my computer to access as "scan to upgrade" is my only option. Thanks for the tips!

  and it came with Windows 7 Home Premium,
  I bought Windows 7 Ultimate that I wanted to use
  Bit-Locker.

  When I installed Windows 7 Ultimate OS I booted my laptop computer and found that all the original software had disappeared.

  To be honest I don't understand why you're so surprised.
  You removed the OS pre-installed and installed own naked version without driver, Toshiba, utility and software tools extra.

  If you want to have it all, you need to update you and do not clean installation of the operating system. There is a big difference.

  So if you want to have all the Toshiba stuff I recommend to install recovery image Toshiba Win7 and upgrade to Ultimate.

• M91p ((modèle 4524) will not sleep)

  Hi - I wonder if anyone can help me with this problem - I got a M91p Tower (model 4524) for a couple of years - has decided to upgrade to Windows 8.1 and operate using the UEFI.

  I installed Windows 8.1 with the game to the mobo in the UEFI but cannot get the system to correctly put it to sleep. When I select sleep the screen turns off but power light stays on (instead of Flash) and all the fans (CPU, system and PCU) keep turning constantly. Only way out is to press and hold the power button for a few seconds until that everything goes off then re - start the PC...

  So far, I've tried several things, including:

  1. three power supplies (the original LiteOn, a Corsair 750w and a 750w Silverstone)

  2. two x 110 SanDisk SSD and original WD HARD drive

  3 enable/disable Fast Boot in the BIOS options

  4 turn on hybrid sleep

  5 enabled fast-start up in BIOS

  6 turn the wake-up timers in Power Options

  7 turn USB suspend timers in Power Options

  8. for many generations, ensuring the all latest updates/apps for Windows and Lenovo are installed and not installed

  9. update to the latest version of the BIOS (9HKT58AUS)

  None of them made no difference, the problem remains. If I install Win8.1 with the motherboard in legacy mode, then I get a build no UEFI which works very well when it comes to sleep.

  In the case where someone asks why, I have my PC get up at night to perform various regular back-ups/copies of data to a number of other devices - I don't want to lose this functionality. Similarly, because the mobo allegedly supports UEFI, I thought it was a good opportunity to discover it clogged.

  I also tried the 'Diagnostics UEFI Lenovo tool', but get an error that it is not compatible with this version of PC. I also tried to enter the parameters of the UEFI via recovery / troubleshoot / advanced but on re-booting there is no "UEFI firmware settings" option available.

  Any help much appreciated...

  Just in case anyone else comes across this and asked what was the solution - it seems that the problem only occurs if the o/s is installed using the TPG - if so the only solution so far is to convert legacy MBR - see this full thread:

• How close my TC must be to my modem cable?

  No matter how close I place my modem cable to my time capsule? Because only the TC will issue wireless signal I assumed that there would be no interference. Am I wrong? The modem is declining by the signal several times a day and I was wondering what could interfere with the signal. Should I ask a new modem IP address?

  At this point, you really don't know if you have a problem with the modem, dropping the signal... or the TC dropping the signal.

  The way to know is temporarily connect your computer directly to the modem using an Ethernet cable connection, turn it off wireless on the computer and keeps things set up that way for a day or two to watch the connection.

  If the signal continues to fall... so that points to a modem that is bad and must be replaced.

  However, if him you continue to have a good signal without problems when the computer is connected directly to the modem, then the model is fine and the problem can probably be with the TC... and additional troubleshooting will be required.

  If the modem does not transmit a wireless signal, the TC can be found anywhere you want within reasonable limits... but you do not want to locate the TC on top of the modem or something like that. Leave a margin for products to get some air.
