I'm sure I'm missing something completely obvious, but here goes: I cut with a razor, a bit of a clip in a timeline, then apply Ken Burns to this article, I cut, but I want him to stop and stay at the end of the effect, beyond the Cup, I did. How do I do that? Thanks in advance.

Go to the last image in the Ken Burns effects and use modify > add Freeze Frame Opt - F.

  • iMovie ken burns effect blocking

version of iMovie 10.0.9 to apply the Ken Burns effect on photo, loss of definition occurs (blocking), but only during the movement of the effect. To stop the movement, the image completely covers the definition.

If anyone has this happened, I'd appreciate it tell me it solved.

The computer is a Macbook with Yosemite 2010 of the installed operating system.

When you use the effect Ken Burns on a photo the computer must do a different culture on each image.  The definition of poor in the viewer while playing in the timeline generally because the computer is not fast enough to be able to view the clips high definition and real-time effects.  To continue, we must reduce the definition on the screen.

The good news is that if this is the reason that it will not affect the quality of the shared video.  Try sharing in order to verify that this is the case.

  • Ken Burns still grayed out picture

I want to be able to hold the last image of a photo in a Ken Burns effect zoom for a break on the topic of the effect. When I try to freeze the last image, "freeze frame" is grayed out. I tried to add the same photo after the first without the KB effect and cropping to match the last zoom, but it is impossible to match exactly and takes too long. I searched high and low for a solution. Is it possible to do in iMovie?

Freeze frame only works for video clips.  How to proceed for still images with Ken Burns is to put a copy of the clip after the first clip.  With the copy highlighted, click on the crop tool, and then you will see the parameters of Ken Burns.  Click on the arrows 'swap ':

and cultures beginning and end are interchangeable and the departure will perfectly at the end of the original item.  Now, all you need to do is set the end to be the same as the beginning.  Even if this is not correct, it will be noticeable.

  • Stuttering Ken Burns

I have searched and looked for someone who had a similar problem and got a response, but have not found.

I created a series of projects, each term of 5 to 7 minutes and each in a QuickTime movie exported, and then imported iback in iMovie to create a video of 1 hour of the imported clips. Individual Quicktime movies play beautifully in Quicktime on my Mac. When I export the full movie of Media Browser in HD720, open iDVD and burn a DVD in the best performance, the game sections of Ken Burns is back with a rhythmic stutter on my Mac and my DVD player connected to the TV.

Because I know that individual QT movies are fine, the problem is can cause 1) on the re - import into iMovie, 2) export of Media Browser or 3) encoding in iDVD.

All wisdom is appreciated. It's weeks since I finished the complete project and I still can't have a watchable version.

Perhaps the stuttering can be eliminated if I exported the entire film to a Quicktime movie? I was trying to avoid that, because it will take a whole day to render.

I don't know why you get the effect of stammering, but if each of your short iMovie projects is completed, you can join together using Quicktime Player (see: How to use QuickTime Player - Apple Support )

For more details).  This avoids the loss of quality which is likely if you re - import in iMovie.

A DVD can contain only one hour of standard-definition TV so iDVD may have to deal with an extreme level of compression on your project of 720 p.  You can get best results export of 540 p resolution.

  • Ken Burns effect on the large picture, keeping the full quality?

Hi, I have a few high ground always images to add to a video with a simple Ken Burns effect. I would like to keep the really high quality to zoom in, is there a way to do this, IE select the photo source rather than to import them when he has reduced the size of the project (a bit like Avid pan and scan function)?

    Thanks in advance

TThis image is imported at full resolution. When it is put into a project, it's default scaling to fit this project, but its resolution is not diminished somehow. You can use Ken Burns to create an animation or the function of culture/culture or the scale and position to crop. The image is always at full resolution.

  • How can I add a Ken Burns type transition between slides?

I can't find a way to have the Ken Burns transition type?   Is this possible?

    It's just an effect of reposition and scale on an image;

You will need images with a resolution high enough to deal with the intensification of the image.

Click on the image on the slide: Inspector > Animation > Action > add effect > scale

then adjust the position and scale of the image 'ghost' as required

  • How to use ken burns in a still video image?

I have a video clip. I move the playhead to a point in the clip and split the clip. I then do a freeze frame of the end of the first part of the split clip. This is where I met my problem. During the reading of the judgment on image, I want to zoom in on a region of the freeze frame, for example a face in a crowd, I want to stay zoomed in for a period of time and then zoom out to full frame, and then continue with the rest of the split image.  How can I do this? I tried to use Ken Burns but could not do work, I could zoom in but not hold the zoom, then zoom back.  Thank you.

To do this, use three consecutive copies of the still image.  Implement effect of the Ken Burn to the still picture to zoom in.  Now add a copy of this clip and reverse images of beginning and end of the Ken Burns effect by clicking on the double arrows in the Style far right button (see screenshot).

Now add a copy of a clip between the two clips and adjust the large frame of Ken Burns while she superimposes one smaller.  This gives you the extended break.  Adjust the length of the three clips and you're done.

  • I have microsoft 2000 version of picture it, and it has stopped working. What can I do, as I have 3000 photos downloaded in this format, Ken

I use microsoft picture it, version 2000. This software has been a recurring problem, first of all just slow down my computer when saving a photo, now not even open. I have over 3000 photos saved in this version. What should I do, Ken

FWIW... MS Picture It! 2000 is an obsolete program and will continue to cause problems, even if you manage to find a way to run it. If you have the original install CD... It may be interesting to try to uninstall/reinstall the program, but there may be problems if you are running Internet Explorer 7 or 8. You can also try running them in Compatibility Mode for Windows 2000.

I would certainly create a system restore point before uninstall/install any software.

I can only imagine that you have saved your pictures to .mix format which is not compatible with other image editing software.

IMHO... your best bet for the future would be to convert the .mix in .jpg or .png format files so they would be compatible with current image editing software.

There is always a trial of 60 days of MS, Digital Image Suite 2006 download. This software will be compatible with your .mix files and using the MiniLab you can batch convert them in .jpg format. (the number of files that you can convert at any given time will depend on your system resources I'm guessing 50 might be a place to start)

(FWIW... it's always a good idea to create a system)
Restore point before installing software or updates)

Microsoft Digital Image Starter Edition 2006
    http://www.Microsoft.com/downloads/details.aspx?FamilyId=7C3B3DED-A15F-48C5-B724-7796FE8C151E&displaylang=en

    Another option...

If they are single image files created in
MS Picture It! and aren't projects in layers...
(pages album, greeting cards, collages, etc.)
the following information should be helpful to you:

The evaluation version of PolyView may allow
lot to reformat your bigger .mix files
    quantities.

You can download an evaluation copy to the
    following link:

(FWIW... it's always a good idea to create a system)
Restore point before installing software or updates)

    PolyView
    www.Polybytes.com
(Go to...) Downloads / PolyView 4.43 Setup
    Program)

When you open PolyView... go to...
    File / Format Conversions...

Navigate to the folder that your .mix files
recorded in and open the drop window and
    Choose "All Files".

On the left, click on the button "add all".

On the left, click on the button "continue"...

Choose your JPEG Format 'Destination '.

    Choose your JPEG quality... 100

    Choose a 'Destination folder '...

Left click on the button 'start '.

    Good luck...

  • How to handle small size photos in first for Ken Burns effect

Hello, I know how to do the Ken Burns effect in first, but don't know what to do with the images that are smaller then 1920 x 1080 sizes.

They are photos of the 60' and 70's and if I blow up picture size or to do the Burns effect, they are falling apart.

I see people using photos really very old that look always good.

How can I put them when they are low resolution or more small size?

    Thanks, J

If the images are old, then their existence as a real film prints.

Rescan them at a higher resolution.

  • Ken Burns effect of * wide * image?

    Hi all

I tried a quick search, but not yet found an answer.

I want to create a pan "Ken Burns" of a very wide image in Premiere Pro, but can't see how I can do anything with other than a 1920 x 1080 image.

I basically need to start with a larger picture (let's say for now, 3840 x 1080 so double-width Full HD but standard height) and I want to start with the left side and create a scrolling to the right to finally show the entire width of the image.

I certainly don't want to zoom in on the image - the image already will be at the necessary exact height, I just want to view a panoramic image which can obviously be made only in HD ratio if I scroll on it. (So thinking that it is running a magnifying glass over the entire width of a photo)

Can someone point me to info on how to get there? I can manage it with a 'standard' imported picture using zoom etc effects, but it crops still nothing I have import up to 1920 x 1080, which is not good for me.

    Thanks in advance!

    Create a sequence of 1920 x 1080.

    Import your picture of 3840 x 1080.

Place the image of 3840 x 1080 on the timeline.

Click on the image on the timeline to select it.

Once selected, move the effect controls panel.

Click the triangle next to the query to see the commands.

Set the scale to 100 (unless it is already set to 100).

You should see just the central part of the image in the program monitor.

Move the playhead on the timeline at the beginning of the clip (keeping the selected clip).

Return to the effect controls panel and change the horizontal Position to where you want to start panoramic image.

When you have the image in position, click the icon of stopwatch bit next to the position of the world. It will turn blue and and put a keyframe on the timeline of the effects.

Now, move the playhead in the timeline to the last image in the image on the timeline (keeping the selected clip).

Return in the effect controls panel and modify the horizontal position at the end of the pan. It should automatically create a second keyframe.

Now, you can read the timeline and see the pan. Depending on the power of your computer, you may need to make the effect until you can see smooth,

If you want to make the start and stop of the boom of pan, select the keyframes in the effects for Position Panel and right-click on them. In the menu select temporal Interpolation > Auto Bezier.

  • Is it possible to apply the Ken Burn effect to a slide show brought her another slideshow on your site?

I have several slideshows on a current site that I am working on, but I want just a slide have the Ken burns effect. When I placed the widget on my site all my slide our hit show. Is it possible that you can designate what show you want to have the effect go?

Unfortunately the slides in the show can be applied with different effects, they would be same for all slides.

    Thank you

  • Sequences of images - they are heavy in file size? Alternatives to a Ken Burns effect?

We are building a digital magazine for a client who has about 50 performances. Each show has about 3-5 images which would like to see featured in Ken Burns style, a kind of zoom/pan slow and then it fades to the next image that also pan/zooms. This must be done in the background of any content above. My solution at the beginning was to simply do a sequence of images and have it loop. This allows me to have the content above as a MSO.

My application is currently to 212 MB with a bunch more pages before that... I wonder how much weighs image are sequences? If I had to do about 15 second sequence of images all the performance (there are 50 of them) it would be a huge file size app? If so, what are my alternatives to be?

Here is a screenshot just for reference... the image behind this content should be the "slides" - movement

    http://i.gyazo.com/d23c545bc42f339248a0ac8ca4ec9d5f.PNG

Thanks a lot for any help in advance.

You should try rendering a video instead, and see if it works best for the size of your file. By rendering a video you could listen to from a server instead of having to cook in the folio.

  • Ken Burns effect

I would like to create a Ken Burns effect on a slide show in Muse, but it seems that Muse does not support this.  There are third-party applications that can create an economy of KNOWLEDGE in HTML5? Cheap is good, free is better!
