Data recovery:

1. slave of your hard drive in another computer and read/save your data out there.

2. put your Hard drive in a USB hard drive case, plug it into another computer and read/save from there.

3 Alternatively, use Knoppix Live CD to recover data:

http://www.Knopper.NET/Knoppix/index-en.html

Download/save the file Knoppix Live CD ISO above.

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
http://isorecorder.alexfeinman.com/isorecorder.htm
Download the Vista software from the link above.
After installing above ISO burning software, right click on the Knoppix ISO file > copy the Image to a CD.
Knoppix is not installed on your PC; use only the resources of your PC, RAM, graphics etc.
Change the boot order in YOUR computer/laptop to the CD/DVD Drive 1st in the boot order.
Plug a Flash Drive/Memory Stick, BOOT with the Live CD, and you should be able to read the hard drive.
When the desktop loads, you will see at least two drive hard icons on the desktop (one for your hard drive) and one for the USB key.
Click on the icons of hard drive to open and to understand which drive is which.
Click the icon for the USB drive and click on "Actions > Change the read/write mode" so you can write to disk (it is read-only by default for security reasons).
Now to find the files you want to back up, just drag and drop them on the USB. When you're done, shut down the system and remove the USB key.
See you soon.
    Cause
    Frequently, you can determine the cause of the error status (parameter 2) KERNEL_DATA_INPAGE_ERROR bug check. Some common status codes are:
    • 0xC000009A or STATUS_INSUFFICIENT_RESOURCES, indicates a lack of non-paged pool resources.
    • 0xC000009C or STATUS_DEVICE_DATA_ERROR, generally indicates bad blocks (sectors) on the hard disk.
    • 0xC000009D or STATUS_DEVICE_NOT_CONNECTED, indicates defective or loose wiring, termination or that the controller does not see the hard drive.
    • 0xC000016A or STATUS_DISK_OPERATION_FAILED, indicates bad blocks (sectors) on the hard disk.
    • 0xC0000185 or STATUS_IO_DEVICE_ERROR, indicates improper termination or defective cabling devices SCSI or two trying to use the same IRQ.
    These status codes are common ones that have specific causes. For more information about other possible status codes that can be returned, see the Ntstatus.h file in the operating system Microsoft Windows Driver Kit (WDK).
    Another common cause of this error message is the defective material or failing RAM.
    A virus infection can also cause this bug check.
    Solve the problem
    Solve a problem of bad block: Generally, a status I/O of 0xC000009C or 0xC000016A code indicates that the data can not be read from the disk due to a bad block (sector). If you can restart the computer after the error, Autochk runs automatically and tries to map the bad sector so that it is more used.
    If Autochk does not scan the hard disk for errors, you can manually start the disk scanner. Run Chkdsk /f /r on the system partition. You must restart the computer before the start of the analysis of disk. If you cannot start the computer due to the error, use the Recovery Console and run Chkdsk/r.
    Warning  If your system partition is formatted with the FAT file system the long file names that use the Windows operating system could be damaged if you use Scandisk or another MS-DOS-based disk tool to verify the integrity of your hard disk from MS-DOS. Always use the version of Chkdsk that matches your version of Windows.
    Solve a defective hardware problem: If the State of e / is C0000185 and the paging file is on a SCSI disk, check the cabling and SCSI termination for problems.
    Solve a problem RAM failure: Run the hardware diagnostics feeding by the system manufacturer, especially the memory scanner. For more information about these procedures, see the manual of your computer.
    Check that all the cards in the computer are well calibrated. Use an ink eraser or electrical contact treatment, available in electronic supply stores, to ensure the adapter card contacts are clean.
    Check the system log in Event Viewer for additional error messages that might help identify the device that is causing the error. You can also disable caching memory BIOS to try to resolve this error.
    Make sure that the latest Windows Service Pack is installed.
    If the previous steps do not resolve the error, take the system motherboard to a repair for the diagnostic facility. A crack, a scratched trace, or a defective component on the motherboard can cause this error.
    Solve an infection by the virus: Search your computer for viruses using any update, commercial software that examines the Master Boot Record of the disk hard antivirus. All systems of Windows files can be infected by viruses.
    Important info if you received a STOP Code
    If you received a blue error screen, or a stop code, the computer stopped abruptly to protect against data loss. A hardware device, its driver or software might have caused this error. If your copy of Windows is shipped with your computer, contact your computer manufacturer. If you purchased Windows separately from your computer, Microsoft provides support. To find contact information for Microsoft or the manufacturer of your computer, Contact Support.
    If you have experience with computers and try to recover from this error, follow the steps in the Microsoft article solution STOP (blue screen) errors in Windows.
    These actions could prevent a mistake like this does not happen:
    1. Download and install updates for your computer from Windows Update device drivers.
    2. Scan your computer for computer viruses.
    3. Check your hard drive for errors.
    KERNEL_DATA_INPAGE_ERROR parameters
    The four parameters that are listed in the message can have three possible meanings. If the first parameter is 1, 2 or 3 and the third parameter is 0, the parameters have the following definitions.
    Parameter Description
    1
    The type of lock which took place (1, 2 or 3)
    2
    The error status (usually a State of I/O code)
    3
    If lock Type is 1: the current process
    If lock Type is 2 or 3: 0
    4
    The virtual address that could not be paged into memory
    If the first parameter is 3 (and the third parameter is nonzero) or 4, the parameters have the following definitions.
    Parameter Description
    1
    The lock type that was held (3 or 4)
    2
    The error status (typically an I/O status code)
    3
    The address of the InPageSupport structure
    4
    Failing address
    Otherwise, the parameters have the following definitions.
    Parameter Description
    1
    The address of the page table entry (PTE)
    2
    The error status (usually a State of I/O code)
    3
    The PTE contents
    4
    Failing address
    Cause
    Frequently, you can determine the cause of the error status (parameter 2) KERNEL_DATA_INPAGE_ERROR bug check. Some common status codes are:
    • 0xC000009A or STATUS_INSUFFICIENT_RESOURCES, indicates a lack of non-paged pool resources.
    • 0xC000009C or STATUS_DEVICE_DATA_ERROR, generally indicates bad blocks (sectors) on the hard disk.
    • 0xC000009D or STATUS_DEVICE_NOT_CONNECTED, indicates defective or loose wiring, termination or that the controller does not see the hard drive.
    • 0xC000016A or STATUS_DISK_OPERATION_FAILED, indicates bad blocks (sectors) on the hard disk.
    • 0xC0000185 or STATUS_IO_DEVICE_ERROR, indicates improper termination or defective cabling devices SCSI or two trying to use the same IRQ.
    • 0xC000000E or STATUS_NO_SUCH_DEVICE, indicates a hardware failure or an incorrect drive configuration. Check your cables and check the disk with the available from the manufacturer of your drive diagnostic utility. If you use old PATA (IDE) disks, this status code may indicate a bad master/subordinate drive configuration.
    These status codes are common ones that have specific causes. For more information about other possible status codes that can be returned, see the Ntstatus.h file in the operating system Microsoft Windows Driver Kit (WDK).
    Another common cause of this error message is the defective material or failing RAM.
    A virus infection can also cause this bug check.
    Resolution
    Solve a problem of bad block: Generally, a status I/O of 0xC000009C or 0xC000016A code indicates that the data can not be read from the disk due to a bad block (sector). If you can restart the computer after the error, Autochk runs automatically and tries to map the bad sector so that it is more used.
    If Autochk does not scan the hard disk for errors, you can manually start the disk scanner. Run Chkdsk /f /r on the system partition. You must restart the computer before the start of the analysis of disk. If you cannot start the computer due to the error, use the Recovery Console and run Chkdsk/r.
    WARNING
    if your system partition is formatted with the FAT file system, the long line that names the windows operating system uses could be damaged if you use Scandisk or another MS-DOS-based disk tool to verify the integrity of your hard disk from MS-DOS. Always use the version of Chkdsk that matches your version of Windows.
    Fix a defective hardware problem: If the State of e / is C0000185 and the paging file is on a SCSI disk, check the cabling and SCSI termination for problems.
    Resolve a problem RAM failure:
    run the diagnostics of material feeding by the system manufacturer, especially the memory scanner. For more information about these procedures, see the manual of your computer.
    Check that all the cards in the computer are well calibrated. Use an ink eraser or electrical contact treatment, available in electronic supply stores, to ensure the adapter card contacts are clean.
    Check the system log in Event Viewer for additional error messages that might help identify the device that is causing the error. You can also disable caching memory BIOS to try to resolve this error.
    Make sure that the latest Windows Service Pack is installed.
    If the previous steps do not resolve the error, take the system motherboard to a repair for the diagnostic facility. A crack, a scratched trace, or a defective component on the motherboard can cause this error.
    Solve an infection by the virus:
    check your computer for viruses using any update, commercial software that examines the Master Boot Record of the disk hard antivirus. All systems of Windows files can be infected by viruses.
    BCCode: 7A 0x0000007A
    The main causes of this error are virus/malware, drivers, memory, and disk damage. And
    It may even be combinations of those so meticulous control of all is needed. Possible addition
    the causes are such as the motherboard damaged material errors or other materials.
    BCCode: 7A 0x0000007A
    Cause
    Frequently, you can determine the cause of the error status (parameter 2) KERNEL_DATA_INPAGE_ERROR bug check. Some common status codes are:
    • 0xC000009A or STATUS_INSUFFICIENT_RESOURCES, indicates a lack of non-paged pool resources.
    • 0xC000009C or STATUS_DEVICE_DATA_ERROR, generally indicates bad blocks (sectors) on the hard disk.
    • 0xC000009D or STATUS_DEVICE_NOT_CONNECTED, indicates defective or loose wiring, termination or that the controller does not see the hard drive.
    • 0xC000016A or STATUS_DISK_OPERATION_FAILED, indicates bad blocks (sectors) on the hard disk.
    • 0xC0000185 or STATUS_IO_DEVICE_ERROR, indicates improper termination or defective cabling devices SCSI or two trying to use the same IRQ.
    These status codes are common ones that have specific causes. For more information about other possible status codes that can be returned, see theNtstatus.h file in the operating system Microsoft Windows Driver Kit (WDK).
    Another common cause of this error message is the defective material or failing RAM.
    A virus infection can also cause this bug check.
    Resolution
    Solve a problem of bad block: Generally, a status I/O of 0xC000009C or 0xC000016A code indicates that the data can not be read from the disk due to a bad block (sector). If you can restart the computer after the error, Autochk runs automatically and tries to map the bad sector so that it is more used.
    If Autochk does not scan the hard disk for errors, you can manually start the disk scanner. RunChkdsk /f /r on the system partition. You must restart the computer before the start of the analysis of disk. If you cannot start the computer due to the error, use the Recovery Console and runChkdsk/r.
    Warning   If your system partition is formatted with the FAT file system the long file names that use the Windows operating system could be damaged if you use Scandisk or another MS-DOS-based disk tool to verify the integrity of your hard disk from MS-DOS. Always use the version of Chkdsk that matches your version of Windows.
    Solve a defective hardware problem: If the State of e / is C0000185 and the paging file is on a SCSI disk, check the cabling and SCSI termination for problems.
    Solve a problem RAM failure: Run the hardware diagnostics feeding by the system manufacturer, especially the memory scanner. For more information about these procedures, see the manual of your computer.
    Check that all the cards in the computer are properly housed. Use an ink eraser or electrical contact treatment, available in electronic supply stores, to ensure the adapter card contacts are clean.
    Look in the Event Viewer system log for additional error messages that might help identify the device that is causing the error. You can also disable caching memory BIOS to try to resolve this error.
    Make sure that the latest Windows Service Pack is installed.
    If the previous steps do not solve not the error, take the system motherboard to a repair for the diagnostic facility. A crack, a scratched trace, or a defective component on the motherboard can cause this error.
    Solve an infection by the virus: Search your computer for viruses using any update, commercial software that examines the Master Boot Record of the disk hard antivirus. All systems of Windows files can be infected by viruses.
    Often drivers up-to-date will help, usually video, sound, network card (NIC), WiFi, part 3
    keyboard and mouse, as well as of other major device drivers.
    Look at the sites of the manufacturer for drivers - and the manufacturer of the device manually.
    This error appears frequently as a blue screen.  I have to restart the laptop.
    I checked the SMART status of my hard disk with HD Tunes Pro and there is no bad sector.
    I have also checked the troubleshooting page and did not find the explanation for the I/O "0XC0000056" status code
    Help me to find the cause and fix?  Thank you
    randomly, I got this blue screen, iv tried runing in safmode and all the other options, but it is loading windows screen for some twinks blinks then blue screen before just go to the beginning and start again.
    IV tried to use the windows reinstall disk but when I told it to boot from the disc it says loading disk, then when he finishes everything turns black twinks a little later, the pointer turns upward, but that's all that I can move it, but that's all.
    that all I'm basically able to do.
    I want that my files than most inportaint thing, I can just reformat everything after that. I have a blacx by thermaltake exsternal hard drive dock. so I put my laptop hard drive in the dock and readers to come on the directory, but can't access my files from the disk im f, it just says: it needs to be reformatted. It is my understanding that im supost to be able to get the files because the blue screen I have is one thing start and therefor using the docking station, which must ignore directly to files. so if someone knows something about this I really really need thoes files.
    Yet once the f drive comes back but I can't acsess it. It just says: the disk must be formatted to be used, should not be I could just directly pulug and opened to see my files? I can open disk E recovery but theres nithing inportaint it.
  • KERNEL_DATA_INPAGE_ERROR message
    Recently I was away for two weeks and my system was closed all the time.  My system was working fine when I left.  No software or hardware has been added.  Nothing has changed.  When I came back, I started getting the following message with a BSOD: KERNEL_DATA_INPAGE_ERROR STOP: 0x0000007A (0xC0000185, 0 x 80572092, 0xC0402B90, 0x18F08860).  I have unplugged everything except the monitor, keyboard and mouse, but the problem remains.  No idea how to solve this problem?
    Not without more information.  Well... no good ideas.
    Your system is a Compaq Presario V4440 or is it a gateway FX6803?
    Are you running XP Professional SP2?
    is your antivirus/antimalware currently Norton or McAfee?
    Here are some ideas of an engineer of Microsoft Support previously marked as 'response' - see how these things work for you:
    Step A.
    Check to see if the problem exists in Safe Mode, if the computer works as expected in mode without failure, then we can solve the problem in the clean boot state.
    See the article below for the procedure safe mode in Windows XP
    A description of the options to start in Windows XP Mode
    http://support.Microsoft.com/kb/315222
    Step B.
    You need to perform a clean boot to find the program that is causing and then disable or remove.
    How to configure Windows XP to start in a "clean boot" State
    http://support.Microsoft.com/kb/310353/en-us
    Step C: make SFC scan on the computer.
    1. Click Start and type cmd in the box start the search.
    2. right click on cmd in the list programs and then click Run as administrator.
    If you are prompted for an administrator password or a confirmation, type your password or click on continue
    3. at the command prompt, the following line, and then press ENTER:
    sfc/scannow
    Note: When you are finished troubleshooting, follow the steps as explained in the article to reset the computer to start as usual.
    Please note that if the idea of the engineer of Microsoft Support for try sfc/scannow solves your problems, I'll send you (or your charitable organization preferred) US $100.
    Until 14, I'm zero dollar.
  • The code of error BSOD 0x0000007a: KERNEL_DATA_INPAGE_ERROR.
    Original title: 30 + hours of chkdsk on a hard disk of 1 TB and no indication of progress
    Have an ASUS PC (care not available at this time).  Home work to discover has recovered from a blue screen crash.  The code indicates anything a Windows software for a chip failure problem RAM or motherboard.
    Decided to check the disc with recovery of bad sectors option.  It has been approximately 30hrs and all I have is a blinking on-screen cursor: no indication of text on what is happening or what stage it is during the process.  It's an old PC with a 1 TB hard drive.  Don't know mghz speed but the processor is powerful enough to play in the COD, Skyrim and other games.
    Any recommendations would be greatly appreciated. Thank you in advance.
    Hello
    Sorry for the late reply.
    According to the newspapers of file dump, error code KERNEL_DATA_INPAGE_ERROR STOP: 0x0000007A indicates that the data page of the kernel of the required paging file could not be read into memory. It seems that there are some problems with the hard drive.
    If the problem persists, try the methods provided in the link below:
  • STOP 0x07a Lenovo3000 g430 20003
    Hello, everyone.
    I have laptop Lenovo3000 g430 20003.
    and I have error KERNEL_DATA_INPAGE_ERROR STOP 0x07a (0xc0000185, 0x55a6b820, 0xc0487F70, 0x90feee7e).
    I read that 0xC0000185 or STATUS_IO_DEVICE_ERROR, indicates improper termination or defective cabling devices SCSI or two trying to use the same IRQ.
    I do on laptop and cleaned contacts with wood alcohol.there are not all cables connected with the disk.
    I have updated the bios to version 1.18.
    Two years ago, that I changed disk.
    I checked my drive on another PC and it pass SMART tests and has a few bad blocks (not much just a little bit). I used to check the disk with the program Victoria.
    on official support site are not all pages use according to this model.
    Now, I get lost what to do.
    It seems to me that I have to change the disk controller
    Can you help me with advice?
    I had tried a week but successfully solved.
    I changed in the BIOS from AHCI to IDE disc type. And since that time there is no BSOD error.
    I think the reason is bad driver in AHCI mode
  • Kernel_Data_Inpage_Error error blue screen
    Original title: recently, our PC had blue screen errors
    We have tried to update the BIOS, but we always get the Kernel_Data_Inpage_Error.  What else can we try?
    Hello
    1. are you able to boot to the desktop?
    2. when exactly you get this blue screen error?
    When you encounter a Blue Screen of Death (BSoD) in Windows, the computer saves information about the error message in a log file. This log file or minidump file is saved in the subdirectory of Windows Minidump (C:\Windows\MiniDump). Generally the information stored in the minidump file can help identify the cause of the blue screen error message and help you solve the problem.
    For more information on the reading of the memory dump files, see the following article:
    How read partial memory dump files that Windows creates for debugging
    Resolution:
    Error code KERNEL_DATA_INPAGE_ERROR STOP: 0x0000007A indicates that the data page of the kernel of the required paging file could not be read into memory. It seems that there are some problems with the hard drive.
    Use the check disk command for all errors on the hard drive.
    Warning: We recommend not to interrupt the CHKDSK process. Microsoft does not guarantee the integrity of the disk if the CHKDSK program is interrupted. Security, you can back up your data before using check disk drive.
    Use the drive control as follows:
    (a) click Start.
    (b) in the search box type 'cmd' and ENTER. Right click and select "Run as Administrator".
    (c) type at the prompt in the command CHKDSK/p and press ENTER to scan the drive.
    (d) then type CHKDSK C: /F /R and press ENTER to repair corrupt sectors, if there are.
    NOTE: The root drive must be C: and drive can schedule a task to start the system, if this is the case, press on is to schedule a task, and then restart the computer to run chkdsk.
    When chkdsk is finished, boot up to the desktop, and then check.
