Key for aligning objects

Is there a way when aligning multiple objects to define an object as a key object as you can in Illustrator?

Thanks for the clarification, Peter. I was getting a little frustrated trying to select locked objects. Where is the parameter you set to allow them to be selected?

  • Difficult to align objects to make parts of its

I Googled, looked around the forum and spent a lot of time trying to fix it myself... but I still think it will be one of those classic where I will describe my problem and someone will tell me to go just press the big red button marked "fool." Apologies if it's as simple as that! (I hope it is!)

    THE TASK

Try to make a vector graphic of the pocketwatch to the right.

    THE PROBLEM

Maybe it's because I work on a very large scale, but I can't seem to align objects. If with the mouse or keys, it just seems impossible to get several central point objects (x) to pile up on each other or a meeting point of two rows of the grid. Thus, everything is a bit off (largest circles) or wide (bits of small arms shows).

It feels a bit like when you slam into first or similar, but I don't know if any setting in Illustrator would produce this frustration. For example, we will study this black point which is raised from the dead of the watch Center part.

    Pocketwatch Problem2.jpg

I chose the black spot you see is central point - x is the absolute closest that I can get it to the grid. I want it on the grid and to overlay on top of the larger circle, Brown... but I'm not either. I try to move an object slowly and then he'll jump just at certain next time invisible, not knowing where I would place.

    What happens here?

If you are using CS5, be sure to turn off the snap to Pixel Grid option.

If not, check your shots. Be sure to snap to grid is turned off. Turn on SmartGuides. In the attributes palette, you can turn on/off the display of the Center, which allows you to drag & snap handles by. Also, make sure that you are familiar with the options and controls align.

  • align objects on stage throughout the timeline

I'm new to Flash and am missing probably the obvious.
I want to select objects on the stage and move them to a new location or align them to one line guide. However, I want to do it for a whole series of images in the scenario. In essence, select all images in the scenario, and then select all the objects on the stage and align them to the left and the top side.

However, it seems that to align objects in the active frame.

I started with a circle on the stage, then added several keyframes in the timeline, by changing the fill color to different key frames.

Is there another way to do what I want?
    Thank you

  • Align objects in traces of text?

    Hi all

I don't know if it is possible at all in Illustrator, but I want to align objects to text paths. Look at the following example to get an idea of what I mean.

I start with something like a circular hierarchy, I receive as an output to another program. Here are the only lines and text. Now, I want to add a flag behind the text. This indicator should have the same orientation as the path of the text.

    bsp1.png

As this hierarchy is actually quite big (it is only an excerpt), I don't want to turn all the flags manually. I tried to do it manually with the example below, but it always looks right...

    bsp2.png

Did someone knows if there is a good method to rotate the indicators according to the orientation of the text paths in Illustrator? Any help is very appreciated!

I don't know way more automated than to do it manually. However you can do accurate rotation using smart guides. Assuming that the text is on-line (no), this is how I would do:

Check in the view menu, there is a check mark in front of guides (Ctrl + U)

A selected text object, choose the tool rotation (R), find and click on the anchor in the text object that will be in the lower left corner if the text is not aligned. Smart guides will show an 'Anchor' tag when the mouse cursor is on it.

Then, away from the anchor point, click and drag the path of the text object to turn up to this only aligned horizontally or vertically to the artboard, which will be indicated by the Smart Guides showing a straight horizontal or vertical.

Hold down the CTRL key temporarily switch to a selection tool and click on with the flag that you want to rotate.

Release the Ctrl key to return to the rotation tool and press the Enter key on your keyboard to get the rotation dialog box.

Replace the positive Angle value if it is negative and negative if it is positive and press the OK button. On a pc can do all this step with three keys on the keyboard instead of the mouse if you first press the Home button, then Delete or less to change the value of the positive or negative and finally press ENTER to apply and close the dialog box. The flag is now shot with the same angle as the orientation of the original text.

Cut (Ctrl + X) flag and undo (Ctrl + z) repeatedly until you return to the orientation of the original text.

Paste (Ctrl + V) to get a copy of the flag rotated and position it in place. I see that your skills with position flags are much better than the alignment of direction and I don't think that you need a more complicated way to do.

  • Snapping when you align objects and spaces

Not sure if this is the right place to discuss this kind of thing, but it is a curious problem I wasn't able to track down a solution.

I've got InDesign on my work PC and laptop. One of the features that I like is the ability to align objects and snap the based on the spacing or where they are on the page, etc. - that is when you move a picture, it will snap to align the objects around it with ease. For some reason, it is now disabled in EACH document in inDesign on my PC but its still going strong on my laptop. My conclusion is that I inadvertently touched a keyboard shortcut to disable this feature.

Noobish completely in question - but how I turn it back on?

    Thank you 1 million,

    Pete

This ended up being the right direction. The feature I need to reactivate was "Guides" (ctrl - you and I presume, cmd - u).

    Thanks for the help.

  • cannot align objects in illustrator. not as simple as it sounds...

Until today, I worked in fine illustrator. I could break one object to another, during the development of the lines, line segment end anchor points may break easily, align objects to anchor points as I paint, etc... Now, this isn't the case. Also, before I could right click in the middle of something, and he would choose it, now I have to click on the actual path that surrounds it and the object.

I work with CS4 Windows. I went to the 'View' menu and ensure that "nod to the point" is turned on, it is. I even tried to line up on the grid. None of this works.

Please, any help would be appreciated. Thank you

TB 31.5.0 Win 7 after the TAB key for the automatic update no longer creates new address line "write" (enter the done key) but I want the TAB key! Why is - this seems to happen after each automatic update? Cant we get 'option' to use the TAB key to navigate through the lines of address "write"?

TAB through the fields that exist. It is the function of the TAB.

Otherwise you could never use TAB to go out in a field for example: subject. It would create an indefinate number of fields and are unable to function as a TAB key.

TAB does not back to THE fields,
New crests to THE fields or donkey typing/selection enter/return address, you can use the selection of mouse click.

All the drivers for the laptop Toshiba EU models are available on the page of the Toshiba UE driver.
If win 8 isn't supported on your laptop, this driver isn't available.

But to my knowledge, these keys were controlled by Toshiba Value Package added (for Win Vista and Win 7).
VAP isn t available for 8 Win / Win 8.1 more and has been replaced by the system of Toshiba driver.

Perhaps you could install such system of Toshiba laptop driver that was released for other mobile phones latest models it of certainly worth a try

    Hello

You can simply get all of the keyboard.
As far as I know it is not possible to replace the key on the keyboard of course you can remove the cap of the key, but if you have some mechanical issues, the replacement of the cap does not help you then you need the keyboard and compatible parts can be ordered from Toshiba service in your country.

    Hello

I am trying to upgrade my windows 8.1 to win 10 (Toshiba Satellite C50-A483) and when I contact Microsoft they asked me about product key for my victory 8.1. I can't find.

It s from integrated in my laptop from the factory.
Where can I get the product key for my windows?
I have another laptop (computer hp laptop)
The product key is labeled in the back of my laptop

For the original version of OS that you got with your laptop, you don't need key product for activation. Whenever you install original recovery image Windows is automatically activated.

In the past product key label was placed on the bottom of the laptop. New model do not have it.
Unfortunately you can not do more. Valid product key is part of the original image recovery only and cannot be used for any other activation.
