  I was wondering if there is any way out of this pickle.

  I had problems with my pc (mainly the printer spooler errors) of a virus so I decided to do a system restore. Only problem was that I had the pc built for me and the person has used a downloaded Windows 8.1 version (no cd). When I went to restore the operating system he said I was "missing data". As I had no cd to I found a so-called work around where you use the missing data from one version of windows business to fill the gaps and it should allow me to restore the version I had (8.1 regular).

  Well low and behold, I load my windows and it is has been replaced by this...

  

  So I tried to reinstall Windows 8.1 using the ISO and the extraction of the key with Magic Jellybean, but, of course, the key had been crushed as well with this useless key.

  I called Microsoft to see if they could recover my OLD key that has written more because I was signing on my account when I logged in while I had my version 8.1 ordinary and download of updates. The people at the other end doesn't seem to understand what I was talking and kept transfer me different places when they are confused as to what I was asking (the language barrier I guess).

  ALL I NEED IS MY OLD RETURN KEY! If not hidden on my computer somewhere so how to get Microsoft to please look into this also. I even signed up for Windows 10 deployment on my 8.1 original.

  To put it bluntly, YOU n 'T NEED a KEY! When you reinstall Windows 8, it is automatically activated from your key incorporated in the Bios.   Hi I recently got windows 7 Professional 64-bit my Thursday school last burn on a dvd. Everything seemed fine after installation, and such as Saturday when he starts in front of the screen of bio and then pop up with error recovery windows telling me that windows wasn't one to repair or start normally anyway would it continue to go to this windows error recovery screen bit whatever I chose. These events eventually led me to believe that my hard drive has failed in which I had a brand new only on Sunday and installed fine all appeared while Monday morning he started to blow upward with the same error message I could try the repairs say it was very good, try and boot and it would restart again. Fortunately I was able to install my Vista Edition home premium 64-bit, which seemed to be ok for most of the day until yesterday when it grew up the windows on error with the options to use the last configuration or start normally (due to the recent hardware or software changes, but I have not install anything new in terms of software or hardware) that works , but im not sure for how long. Im very tech savvy for my age and know what im doing with computers, but I can't seem to understand what is happening since it is a new player none of my hardware is a failure and I don't know.
