  Today, I bought Adobe Web and Design Premium CS6 Educational Edition library of my school.  After activation it and get my CD key, I realized I have 2 keys; 1 for Windows and 1 for Mac (which are the two discs I received with the purchase.

  My question is, since the serial numbers of Windows and Mac are different, I use both at the same time?  I am considering getting a MacBook instead of a laptop, and it's very important to my decision.

• How to change the Merge mode key? (mac)

  Instead of using the arrow keys, there is a better key for the mixture of fashion, which releases the mouse.

  MAJ- Goes up in the blending mode

  Shift + Goes down in blending modes

  Make sure you are on the move tool first (you can hit v to switcch tools), as the blend mode shortcut also works on the blending mode for a tool if the tool has a (for example: brush).

  Am I able to configure a wireless iMac keyboard to emulate the way a Windows keyboard responds to a depression of the DELETE keys and BACKSPACE? I want to delete either to the left right GOLD of the cursor. By pressing the DELETE key on Mac does remove one way, but I want the ability to delete in both directions. The Windows keyboard provides a delete key to remove to the right and a key to return back to remove to the left. So I can configure an iMac for this keyboard? My thought is to keep the delete key as it is and ADD a new function to one of the function keys to delete characters to the left. Thanks for your time and your help.

  Mac can go both ways, in case this is useful.  You can use fn more delete to delete to the right.  Also control more.

• OfficeJet 6500 q: connect to wifi with the new WEP key

  6500 worked well with open wifi wireless.    The system now has a WEP key.  MAC filtering is off.

  I can't get the 6500 a connect.

  The setting up of Assistant see the network and displays the SSID.

  When I entered the WEP key it will not connect

  I restarted everything.

  Does not work

  All other devices are connected on the WEP key

  What can I try next?

  Looks like you have a bad AP because it does not detect the installed radios:

  This case of wil the PA for not being able to join the WLC.  I will seek to have it replaced.

• where the disc scratch on a Mac?

  Hello photoshop experts.

  I recently made a move to switch from Windows to Mac, and man, I realized just how different some of the concepts were. My questions key here is "scratch disks". When I bought my windows PC 4 years so he came already with drive C and drive D, with of course the drive C is mainly for systems, past by conventional wisdom, I did D drive my main working drive.

  How would this work for a Mac well (just think of me as a total Mac noob). I only learned that there is no real drive C or D for Macs. Could I just put the main drive to be the disc of scratch for photoshop?

  I work on Photoshop CC, I think that all what I install on the Mac would be the latest version of creative cloud. Treat the files I have are layer of multi-remplissage 300 DPI of 700 MB, at the end of the measure. Just in case additional information is needed, here are the specs for my new Mac (didn't actually arrived yet so I can't generate adequate system for photoshop information).

  • 4.0 GHz QC mode 4.4 GHz i7
  • 16GB 1600 MHz DDR3 SDRAM-2x8GB
  • Dr. merger of 3 TB (3 TB + 128GBFlash)
  • AMD Radeon R9 M290X 2GB GDDR5

  If you want to assign more "scratch disks"

  Uh, I was hoping that someone from the store team would have responded. What you need to do is call Customer Service and ask them to change the operating system process. You will need to disable the serial numbers, uninstall the software and send them a certificate of destruction for versions of Windows, and they should be able to provide the keys for Mac.

• Just F12 key increases the volume of the speaker?

  Why is it in Photoshop CS5 that hit just the F12 key increases the volume of the speaker?

  Is there some setting preferences that I need to click which makes ALL the F keys, remain inside Photoshop and not go back to the regular keys on Mac?

  The title bar of Photoshop menu said but when I hit F12 F12 is to "restore"... it just increases the volume of the speaker.

  Also, is there a shortcut to the connection of layers?

  In Photoshop CS1, it was so much easier than the method of CS5.

If you install a freeware Mac preferences panel called FunctionFlip, you can choose what function keys affect hardware Mac and the keys on which meet the shortcuts in your software to operate.   In CS4 (I think), the concept of consolidation of the layers were made more powerful. For example, you can have one set of linked layers, but you can have several groups of layers. While you can still bind, because the collection is so much better, it is now recommended that you group layers in most cases where you would articulate before. The shortcut of CS5 for grouping is the command + G standard.

• Start the Boot Manager

  I installed Sierra but need to wipe my drive to improve performance and have implemented the installer of macOSSierra on a USB key and necessary to reach the Boot Manager to start the installation.

  I think you hold down the Options/ALT key during restart to get to the Boot Manager, but nothing happens when I do that - it just goes to the login screen. I use a small apple wireless keyboard and wonder if it is active during the early stages of the startup?

  What I am doing wrong?

  When you use a wireless keyboard, you have to wait until after hearing of the Mac startup sound, then press on and hold the option key.

  If you hold down option from the start key, the Mac will not see depression key because the function Bluetooth does not become active until after the initialization of the Mac hardware.

• Misfortunes of recovery...!

  Hello Mac-to-recruit!

  I get to your doors, after exhausting all other options I can get or don't know so throw me your thanks for the help, advice and assistance.

  Let me paint you a picture.

  My friend, let's call him Rob, had a Mac Mini (late 2009) ongoing 10.10.8 Yosemite that he is no longer required and asked if I would like to, so I said yes, I could use it for something.

  Rob didn't is not very in computer science so I went to help him implement his new Mac Mini (not sure of the model but he bought this week, came with El Cap) I connected the two together and made the whole migration assistant thing and its new had all its progs and docs and Rob was happy

  Until I took his Mini that we did the whole "how to prepare your Mac for sale / new user" so following the guide here - what to do before you sell or give away your Mac - Apple Support

  I made a Time Machine backup for him and disconnected from everything and erased the HD of Mackintosh and then there was a power cut (some time after the backup was completed.

  Mac started then in recovery fine mode and we went to reinstall OS X step and then things started getting weird that there is an error that kept popping up saying (memory now) "this element is not available" app store (or something like) Finally after a while he started to work.

  Then there was another power cut...

  When everything is back on I went back into recovery mode (he had a PC keyboard so now the ALT key at startup, I guess that's the command?) and the recovery with disk utilities partition came it was decided that restore us from Time Machine backup and go from there and then it was there wasn't... guess what? Well Yes an another power failure.

  Now, this is where that starts to hit the fan because now, when it is started in recovery mode the Macintosh HD and discs recovery 10.10.3 mount above the fast WiFi but despite that I press any all will happen... I can connect to WiFi, but after this selection any disc will show the Apple logo and a progress bar that will reach 30-35% and then just stop even if left overnight. Also, it does not start in Internet Recovery Mode (as far as I know I'm pressing the right keys of keyboard of PC - Windows key - ALT and R

  This is that I need help, I read a hundred articles/post on how to download and use the wizard of recovery disk from a USB but I have a PC at home, is there a way to write this to a USB port, the Mac will understand, I have another Mac at home (a powerPC Mac Mini running Tiger) I tried d/l the wizard of recovery disk on that computer , but it's all just does not work...

  I'm kinda stuck, so throw myself at your skills to help a poor soul, or this poor little Mac Mini is trashed or transformed into a Raspberry Pi Forum

  Hi Eddy...

  In doing so the ALT key at startup, I guess that is the command?

  Usually Windows = CMD on the Mac key, key alt on PC KB usually = alt.option key on Mac.

  So try just Windows + r keys.
