Keyboard + Battary in keyboard not detected in Satallite click Mini L9W - B

Hello

Yesterday, I realized that my keyboard/touchpad has stopped working. Windows detects no also the battery of the, allows all this to you, call "click"(clavier et ainsi de suite). "»
So basically the whole click (including USB and card reader) does not work. The laptop is only 4 weeks old, so basically unused, was not in extreme conditions, or has been damaged.
My first suggestion was that it was related to a recent update of Windows 10. I removed the update, but it still does not. So far, 10 Windows work properly.

Any suggestions, it's a software or hardware related?
I'd go with the material (because the second battery detection should not be based on the software), so a case for warranty, right?

Thanks in advance and greetings

CaFri

Hello

I solved it, I feel set back in my region-N64, blow the cartridge box and it works again.

    Hello

I have a problem with my Tablet PC Satellite click Mini L9W - B. The keyboard is not recognized on this subject.

I tried to clean the connector, restart the Tablet several times, tried to load with or whitout the keyboard, but nothing works!
I do not think that the problem is with the battery, as I've seen on other topics as the tablet doesn't detect even the keyboard when I plug. The Tablet does not detect the keyboard battery.

So, if you can give me advice or assistance to solve my problem, I would appreciate :-)

He has no communication with the keyboard at all? (No battery detected, the touch pad and the keyboard does not?) There must be a link related question, I guess. If it was a driver related issue, then the battery would at least get detected)

If you want to void your warranty, you can open the Tablet and keyboard dock and check that the Ribbon connectors or / and remove and replace the Ribbon connectors connectors in

  • PS/2 keyboard not detected in XP SP3, KB262798 required hotfix?

I have a motherboard ASUS PSE and my XP machine is up to date with the latest service pack (XP3), installed the drivers and patches. Happened to me to connect my old keyboard PS/2 and noticed that it has not been detected under Windows more. First of all, I thought it was the BIOS settings, but nothing in my BIOS displays a PS/2 value. So I thought that broke my PS/2 port. Fortunately, I did some Google search and came across an article on KB262798. I applied the fix for the registry manually, and it worked. Restarted my computer and Windows will detect the PS/2 keyboard. I wonder is this a bug? Because its tells me to install the latest service pack which I am, but his old a fix for Windows 2000...

No, it's a question of equipment obsolete, third-party, not a Windows problem. You may experience a similar problem using any material as old as this keyboard PS/2, Joe.

PS: WinXP SP3 (only) in extended support mode in April 2009 in any case. Translation: While only current running WinXP SP3 on the computer (not WinXP SP2 or an earlier version) will be updated of security offered in 2014, there will be more no Service Packs, patches or upgrades.

  • Iconia W700: Bluetooth keyboard not detected in Windows 10 x 64

I'm trying to update all computers at home on Windows 10 and it was pretty painless for most of the devices so far. However, I can not get my W700 Iconia tablet to recognize the Bluetooth keyboard.

Is the keyboard with integrated lid, and I followed the procedure, as indicated on the Acer Web site, to hold the power button on the keypad for 5 seconds to put it in discovery mode and then adding a Bluetooth unit device. Of course, the menus have new sites, but are not hard to find.

I have updated the driver for Bluetooth on the Tablet, but who has not remedied the problem. I looked around and couldn't find any mention of this problem here or elsewhere, probably since Windows 10 has just launched a few days ago.

Okay, so I don't know if the driver was actually the question, but Acer documentation to set the Bluetooth keyboard pairing mode requires that you hold down the power button until the two LEDs on the departure of keyboard alternately as on a police car.

If anyone is reading this and it still does not allow you to associate the keyboard, then here are the steps to get the right Bluetooth driver:

    1. Open Device Manager (right-click the windows down icon on the left)
    2. Expand the "Bluetooth" category in Device Manager
    3. Right click on the Bluetooth driver (should be first in the list, if there are several devices listed)
    4. Click on uninstall
    5. Restart the tablet. Bluetooth driver is reinstalled on reboot.
    6. Reopen Device Manager after the connection
    7. Right-click on the Bluetooth driver, then click on "update driver software... »
    8. Select the option for Windows find the driver software.
    9. An update must be downloaded and installed.
    10. Now, repeat the pairing steps detailed above, and you should see an option for the pair the keyboard appear in the Bluetooth settings.

  • Bug? : Windows 8 PS/2 keyboard not detected after used wireless keyboard

I have Windows 8 standard on a new custom desktop PC.

I connected a Microsoft Basic Keyboard 1. 0a, which is provided with a PS/2 Plug and the keyboard worked fine.

I then disconnected the keyboard and connected a Microsoft Wireless keyboard 3000 V2.0, via the supplied USB dongle.

I turned off the PC, pulled the dongle USB wireless and connected PS/2 keyboard.

Locking digital led lights on the keyboard, but the pressure on the keys has no effect.  Oddly, when the PS/2 connector is connected to the PC, the PC turns on.

When I look at the human devices on the Control Panel, no keyboard appears.

I now use a USB keyboard for this type and it works fine, but I wish I could use my keyboard PS/2 Microsoft with Windows 8.

Someone from another the same lives, or able to reproduce this?

I see exactly the same thing, the PS2 keyboard works fine in BIOS mode before starting, but fails once windows is up and running, I installed Windows 8 with a USB keyboard and then switched on MSFT wireless comfort keyboard. and so far don't have to work.

OK, here's the answer, thanks to Serdar for this:
Windows supports USB or PS/2 keyboard connection, and may in fact support having more than one such device entry plugged at the same time. However, when a PS/2 keyboard is uninstalled and a USB keyboard is the main input device (via the keyboard in the control panel), PS/2 keyboard support is disabled.

This can be frustrating, if a user needs to plug a PS/2 keyboard to perform debugging in Windows, or when a USB keyboard is no longer working properly due to problems with the USB subsystem. Note: A PS/2 keyboard still allows access to the BIOS and will work in the bootloader. It just won't work properly under Windows. (He, however, usually working in the Recovery Console.)

Keyboard PS/2 devices are governed by a service level of the kernel called i8042prt, short for the technical name for the PS/2 keyboard port. When a USB keyboard is added as a replacement for a PS/2 keyboard, the i8042prt service is disabled by force. This avoids a conflict between PS/2 and USB, but if a PS/2 keyboard is reinstalled, the service is not automatically restarted.

To return using a PS/2 keyboard, the user must edit the registry to restart thei8042prt service. To do this, inHKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Services\i8042prt,change the value of Startand assign a hexadecimal or decimal of 1. Restart, then switch to a PS/2 keyboard via the keyboard in Control Panel.

I have the same problem at hand. I had already done the upgrade to Windows 10 when I noticed the new Bios update posted Aug. 6 while looking for driver updates... I wonder if this is just an incompatibility with Win10?

  • Second monitor not detected Windows 8

    Hi all

The title pretty much everything said. Windows 8, two monitors to flat screen of ACER, HP pc, worked fine. I went to the control panel and although both monitors are on and work the 2nd is not detected. By clicking on "detect" a small window shows "another view undetected."
The display on the second monitor as I said is on, but the mouse pointer does not move on the 2nd monitor and my desktop icons that were there is now on my 1st monitor. I tried to update the software for graphics card and monitor software as well, both are up to date.
I tried to contact Microsoft Support, but I guess that there was a problem of mass with the update because I can't seem to online or over the phone.
I tried to restore the computer to its last restore point, but that did not help.

    Can anyone suggest a solution?

    Thank you very much

Original title: update 2nd monitor is not recognized after the last windows of nights.

    CORRECTION *.

Reinstall the drivers worked. I didn't know what I had to do was desempilement monitors and place them side by side in the Panel. (Right-click on the display, the screen resolution, drag a monitor so that it is next to each other instead of one on top of the other)
There is just a nut loose on the keyboard here. (ME)
