  Recently, I had serious problems with a few keys. They do not react when I press on them. Oddly, enough it happened one day where everything worked perfectly. Currently a non-flexible solution (: @) is a mix of keyboard and Vista on-screen keyboard. I have spilled something on my laptop that I take great care of it. Keys not working do not are:

  I also remember the day, this problem occurred (and since then, every day when the laptop boots) in startup screen logo is continuous-interminnent beeps. Alsowhen Office appears and then press 'Start' (Windows logo) I see constantly writing in the prompt search (under "all programs") and that if I press the right arrow it wll not stop. Any ideas? I guess from a driver issue... I hope someone help...

  P.S.:strangely (with the exception of added value package) I can't update my Toshiba laptop (they all fail with an error). First, I do the update of the BIOS?

  The description of your problem doesn't quite sound as if your keyboard has developed a fault, particularly in failing the grouping of keys held. If you have access to a USB port on the keyboard I sugest you try and see if you get the same problem.

  If your A200 is still covered by warranty, then I suggest that return you it to a repairer approved for repair. If your warranty has expired so fortunately replacement keyboards are not only expemsuve and are fairly easy to replace, just try to Google for a suitable provider.

  I don't think that your problem is related to software or drivers

  Not for vista = for laptops which didn t come with preinstalled vista or laptops that are not currently under vista?

  Hi, guys :)

  I installed a couple of days Ubuntu 8.04 LTS. Surprisingly almost everything has started working the first less than 10 minutes, in which Ubuntu has been kindly download all the things I needed and just exploded a comfirmation balloon, which I can't say for the WinXP, although there are official Toshiba drivers. : P

  There is a small problem. As indicated in the subject of this thread - I need bluetooth drivers or something got my bluetooth works (it does not at all!). I don't know that I'm not the only one with Ubuntu on his Satellite A200 - 14 d (PSAECE). So if someone has solved this problem, please share your experience here so that not only I, but all who want a Ubuntu with Bluetooth running can take advantage of this. :)

  I didn't change the thermal paste on my laptop Toshiba still but on my desktop computer, I use Arctic Cooling MX-3. I also read some tests on the Internet on the thermal fat and MX - 3 is still a better. Grease thermal OCZ is also good but the Arctic Cooling surpasses the OCZ.

  In addition, it is also important to clean the surface of the heatsink and processor. So, I can recommend the ArctiClean cleaning kit. Use Google to find some online shops where you can buy it. If you can ensure that all of the old thermal grease is removed properly.

  I just bought a new Satellite A200-130. It has Windows Vista but really slow. I'm waiting for centuries loading something. Even to open an Explorer window. So I decided to downgrade the laptop for Windows XP Home edition. The problem is that none of the Vista drivers that support society works in windows Windows XP Home edition.

  So if possible I would like to give me the exactly brands and models for each of the hardware of this laptop, or it would be very useful if someone could zip hole drivers and download it somewhere like rapidshare.

  I have a PC laptop toshiba Satellite A500-025 and I had a bit of water splashed on keyboard and some keys are no longer works. I was going to replace the keyboard. Mine was purchased in the Canada and has a bilingual English/french keyboard.

  I was wondering if I can order a keyboard only English bilinguals are harder to find.

  Less expensive keyboard, you can find it on eBay. I ordered two English keyboards for Satellite P300 and L300.
  I paid 15 euros for a keyboard. It is not expensive.

  (1) I ask your help on installing my Fn keys drivers for my laptop Satellite A200 14 D PSAECE.
  My OS is Windows XP and I have Bitdefender Internet Security 2009.
  Drivers Toshiba download page, I got all the drivers for my laptop (36 of all - or close), but reinstalations of Xp a lot, I did on my laptop, only after all keys Fn worked when pressing Fn + key and the corresponding icons appeared on my screen. I have read a few forum topics and I understand there's a problem on the order in which I have to install (I already installed all, but it does not work), so I need someone to tell me who are the drivers for the Fn keys only and in what order to install. Don't forget that I can turn off my Bitdefender but not uninstall.

  (2) the same problem with the buttons preset above the keys - start-stop, Internet, Media Player, Play-Stop-Rewind, I need the driver and order.

  I remember that the BIOS must be updated to the version of Win XP on Satellite A200 series.
  There are two different versions of the BIOS and installed (Vista or Win XP) the correct version should be used.

  But there are a lot of FN buttons which requires an additional installation of various tools.
  For example, the Touch Pad on / off Utility must be installed to use the FN + F9 keys.

  In addition, you must install the 3.22.2701 and 2.49.2.5C pilot controls in order to get control of Toshiba functionality of buttons.

  But if you can accept such machine, then wait a little, because the new generation of portable computers equipped with the platform "santa rosa" are coming,
  who have a better and better chipset integrated graphics cards.
