  This morning, out of the blue, two important keys on my keyboard are not what they are supposed to:

  (1) shift and the letter 'c' launches an application on the computer instead of allowing me to type a capital "c". I am a writer and cannot continue without the ability to take advantage of this letter.

  (2) my "Tab" key is no longer allow me to move around in a document (from cell to cell in Excel or Word from the tab to). It is now to move from the application.

  I've exhausted my investigative efforts and may not know how to restore the keys on the keyboard to their original functions. Help, please!

  First step with a problem like this (or most of the problems) must be
  to restart the computer. It sometimes fixes things. Have you tried?

  If this does not work, buy or borrow another keyboard and see if you are using
  This solves the problem.

• Y at - it a keyboard shortcut for change of LUTs?

  It's really simple.   Let's say I have a lot, a lot of LUTs available for use.  Instead of "brute force" by selecting them one at a time - to see how they would change the images - is it a simple "keyboard shortcut" that would allow me to scroll through all the?

  With this new version, it seems my keyboard shortcut to move the Word left/right and highlight the Word left/right have changed. He has been with the CTRL key. It changed to the ALT key. I have advanced and created my own set option, but what's up with that? There may be other changes that again, I have not spotted.

  In addition, the development has changed. The line number is bright turquoise and the tag pairs (for example < div > < / div >) suddenly are highlighted in gray. There are more changes, but I want to just get back to default values, I had. I'm sure that he changed with 13.1 build 6443, but I have downloaded two updates in the last two days.   You can disable the highlighting of gray tag by disabling it in DW preferences > Code coloring > activate tag highlighting

  Unfortunately, there is no way to disable the blue highlight on line numbers. One thing I can say, is that you can disable line numbers by clicking on the icon of line numbers in the coding toolbar that appears on the left side of the code view or Got to view > Code view Options > uncheck the line numbers

  There is no way to select the document only with keyboard shortcuts.  However, you can do scroll through the documents with cmd +'

• Keyboard shortcut to change the stacking order in the appearance Panel?

  I created a bunch of symbols I want to fill it with different colors and patterns. If I select the symbol and add a fill, the fill appears above the content of the symbol in the appearance Panel. I'd like some kind of keyboard shortcut to add the fill to the bottom of the stack of the appearance attribute or just move the contents of the symbol of a level. Any help?

  You can set custom graphic styles that contain the desired appearance stacking order.

  In addition, you can create to-DOS to apply custom graphics styles. You may reproduce actions with custom action keyboard shortcuts.

• Keyboard shortcut to change diapers?

  From Fireworks / Illustrator, Photoshop layers are slowing the workflow by choosing something on another layer. If I could cross the layers (e.g. Select the next/previous layer) with a keyboard shortcut, that might help. I looked in the shortcuts and the best I can find is "move layer", but I don't want to edit the document.

• British keyboard commands have changed

  Recently, I noticed on my Macbook Pro (running El Capitan 10.11.4) 2011 beginning British keyboard, I can make more the euro (€) symbol or the accent acute/Irish/Gaelic fada ('') using the down option.

  Option + 2 now gives me™ where it used to give me the euro symbol, and option + vowel now gives me a circumflex (e.g. i) where it is used to give me the treble.

  I don't know when it started, but I wonder if it was caused by an update, as I have not changed it parameters. Can someone tell me how to solve this problem and return my option controls how they were before?

  Looks like you have the active US keyboard. Check preferences-> keyboard-> input Source System.

  There is a strange bug that I experienced with photoshop. Whenever I change the blending mode to a layer (for example by selecting "Multiply" in the menu drop-down blending mode), my keyboard shortcuts stop working until I have click on the canvas again. It's annoying because often, I'll be on the Brush tool and I did draw on the canvas and press ctrl + z to re - activate keyboard shortcuts.   It happens on Windows, because the drop-down list with blend modes remains highlighted or active (around the blue line). You can press ENTER to confirm and delete the highest point around blend mode dropdown or use keyboard shortcuts to change the layer blending mode. To change the layer blend mode, you must have selected layer and then press Shift + Alt + letter for the blend mode.   I want to apply some wee (no kerning or tracking, just spacing between words) to a few paragraphs.
  My book of Real World Indesign CS4 tells me that these shortcuts should work:
  1. to increase the spacing of the word without affecting the pitch press on - Option Comand / or Ctrl-Alt-/ which will add the basis of kerning increment (as defined by the value in the kerning in dialog units and increments of preferences) after each character space in the text range.
  2. hold down aswell shift key to increase above 5 times.

  3. to decrease the spacing of the word without affecting spacing on Comand + Option + DELETE or Ctrl-Alt-Backspace that will deduct the basic kerning increment (as defined by the value in the kerning in dialog units and increments of preferences) after each character space in the text range.

  I have a Swedish keyboard shortcut, works of command-Option-Backspace to reduce floor space, but the increase keyboard shortcuts do not work for me.
  
  I tried to use the keyboard shortcuts to change the dialog box, but very few type commands are so I can't change the shortcut, even though I know that the keyboard shortcut to reduce no infact exist and work (but not listed).
  I looked under the default and the Swedish shortcut sets but these shortcuts are not listed.

  If the combination of fill/stroke/weight (not just the stroke) you want to call is compatible, you can:

  1 draw a path, apply the desired fill & stroke.

  2 AltDrag it and drop on the default graphic Style in the graphic Styles palette.

  3. then, press D to set the other default paths.
