Please check if the HARD drive is recognized by the BIOS.
It might be possible that your HARD drive is dead for no apparent reason.
Therefore access the BIOS by pressing the F2 key while turning on the unit.
Inside the BIOS, you should see if the HARD drive whether or not written.
Also you could ensure that startup is enabled and if the UEFI BIOS is chosen.

I have a Toshiba Satellite m115-s3094 notebook. It came with the express media player feature. It worked when I ordered my playlist in windows media player 11.

Today, the controls do not work at all.
The two buttons above the controls (Internet and Media player) are fine, but I can't control the media player with the express media player controls.

I've switched back to wmp 10, but I can't control it yet. I don't know if the express media player controls can control Media Center or not because I never tried to use it in media center, but the controls don't work not in media center either.

I use a lot of these controls, if anyone can tell me how I can solve this problem.

    @ Gethsemane
Yes, you must use the drivers and the CD of tools & utilities applications delivered. You need all if you want to use all the features of Toshiba laptop.

Have you received a recovery CD? This CD contains the operating system image that contains all the drivers, tools and additional software. Just starting this announcement from CD, you will get full functional OS.

  • Media control buttons are Unresponsive on my Satellite A305D

    Hello everyone.

Recently, I got my laptop A305D-S6848 Satellite of windows Vista to XP SP3. Everything works correctly and all pieces of hardware report that the proper drivers are installed in the Device Manager in Windows (no "yellow bang" or something like that). However, I noticed that none of my buttons to control media along the top of my keyboard do nothing more (with the exception of the button mute still works). I searched through the forums to find a solution to the problem (and I found a few relevant threads with answered questions) but unfortunately, none of the solutions have worked for me. Is there something that miss me in order to get functions of these buttons (drivers, software, etc..)?

Any help or suggestion is greatly appreciated. Thanks for your time.

I don't know how it works in the United States, but these buttons works well if Toshiba controls is preinstalled. This tool is responsible for the functionality and settings of these multimedia keys.

A few minutes ago I ve checked United States support page and I didn't found something here that can help. Of course, Toshiba U.S. doesn t offer together BFOR drivers, tools and utilities Windows XP Home edition this model of laptop.
Just listed upgrade is interesting - Toshiba Software updates for Windows Vista/XP (v4.3 r2; 2007-11-09; 4 M). I don't really know what it is.

    Have you already installed?

  • Application or remote control for SRS - X 11

I love this little speaker. Such sound rich and vibrating a small unit. However, I realized that something was missing. I hung it on a portable turntable across the room. When I received a phone call on my landline, I had to walk across the room to lower the volume. I was wondering if there is an application that I can install on my cell phone or if there is a bluetooth remote for this speaker?

    Thank you

    Hi Salbertarose,

Welcome to the community of Sony!

Sorry for the late reply. No remote control and app are available for this Bluetooth speaker, however, this Chamber has a Bluetooth AVRCP profile that leaves your Bluetooth device control media playback.

It will only allow you Select music and read by using your Bluetooth device. General controls like the volume control and turn the speaker and the cannot make the paired Bluetooth device.

    I hope this helps.

    Best regards

  • Dv7 Volume controls do not work

I just updated my Pavilion dv7 - 2177cl Computer Entertainment laptop from Vista to Win7.  After several hours, I've finally updated everything and working with the exception of the small bar above the keyboard that controls the Volume, Mute and controls media player.  I'm fairly certain that what I need is a driver.  The problem is that I don't even know what we call this small Control Panel, so I do not know this driver to search for.  This small control panel located above the keyboard and is touch sensitive.  Can someone tell me where I can find the Win7 driver for it? ......... Just discovered another problem... the fn keys do not work correctly.  These are the buttons when you hold down the "fn" key and press f8, for example, to increase the brightness of the screen.

Reinstall the IDT High Definition Audio CODEC Driver. If she says that it is already installed, say yes to replace everything.

Use the accessory that gave you CherylG, it's at the top of the list.

It worked for my HDX 18.

  • On occasion, I sign in the windows media center, I receive one doesn't sstart message for picassoaddin. What is it?

What is picassoaddin - opportunity, that I sign in the windows media center, I receive one doesn't sstart message for picassoaddin?

It turns out that the problem could be due to some pre-installed software. The Picasso snap steals the focus from Media Center at the session of the Extender is launched and so instead of the remote control Media Center, he tries to control Picasso (which is not visible). So by pressing the green button should bring Media Center at the forefront and work around the problem.

A more permanent solution is to remove the Picasso-> General-> program library Options-> edit program library and uncheck Picasso and the snap-snap front. Then restart the session of the Extender.

  • Cannot get Windows Media Center to recognize remote STB

I have a desktop Gateway computer with an AMD Phenom 8400 Triple Core processor.  He is 1 year old and runs Windows Vista.  The Windows Media Center seems to work perfectly.   Recently, I decided to add the TV option to the computer since the last of my children has left and I got a set-top box (STB) available.  I have Verizon FiOS service and I made connections that were provided in the installation of the gateway documentation.  I know it is getting signal through because when I try the manual set up the process, I get a small square window of 2 inches with channel 3 in it.  I can change this channel with my set-top box remote to all channels that are available from my service.  When I continue on in the whole of the process I get to a point where it asks me to point my remote decoder and press on and press and hold the '0' button so Media Center can learn the codes (and, I presume, activate the remote control centre for use).  It is never past "0".  I have new batteries in the tuner and I tested it on another box, so I know it works.

I tried put automation in place two option first and that didn't work either--that's why I went to the manual set up.

As I said above, the Media Center works great with all other options and the MSNBC documentary line CD/DVD playback, etc..  It's just the TV live set up for the Media Center tuner that gives me a royal pain.

I hope someone can help me to finish the game.  Thank you, John.

Looks like you are trying to change your set-top box with a remote control channels of Media Center.  To use Media Center with a set-top-box, you would need a remote control Media Center and one cable IR and remote sensor.

Please see the following diagram: Media Center and your set-top box

During the implementation of process Media Center application that aim you the decoder at the remote sensor and press the 0 key.  The remote sensor at the moment will record the signal from the remote control so that it can be reproduced for the decoder when the Media Center remote control.

    -Thank you

It is always interesting to try a Hard Reset as follows.

Shut down the laptop, unplug the AC adapter and then remove the battery.  Press and hold the Power button for 30 seconds.  Reinsert the battery, connect the power adapter and start Notepad.

  • Satellite A300 - 1MC PSAG8E - software of Toshiba Assist application password

    Hi all

I just bought a Satellite A300 - 1MC (model No. PSAG8E-00W00TEN) and I am using the software Toshiba Assist, but its me asks for a password and I don't know what it is or where I can find it.

    Any suggestions?

Also slightly off topic, the laptop contains buttons to control media player, is there anyway I can change to control iTunes?

    See you soon
    Ian

Have you tried to do an update of Toshiba Assist? A new version and all the other stuff from Toshiba which you can find here:
    http://EU.computers.Toshiba-Europe.com
Maybe the update will solve the problem.

On command buttons, I think you need to configure iTunes as standard Media Player and select all the files to iTunes playlist.

Correctly installed all THE drivers? If not then check again and beware of these infrared drivers.

  • Easy key and Fn + F8 (WLAN power) do not work

    Hello guys,.

I bought a new Toshiba Satellite A100-490 last week. I tested all the shortcut keys and function keys with the pre-installed Windows XP MCE. Everything worked.

But I needed a new custom Windows XP Professional and Windows Server 2003 on the laptop setup. So I installed XP Pro original CD and all Toshiba drivers, with the exception of some special managers (Assist, free Config, Format of memory SD, Wireless LAN Client Manager,...).

Since the easy keys (browser, Media Player, Play/Pause, Stop, back, forward) only the browser and Media Player key function. The driver who is responsible for other keys easy (Play/Pause, Stop, back, forward)?

The next problem is that the shortcut key Fn + F8 (WLAN switch) does not work. But when I disable the WIFI network on the hardware switch, sometimes a MessageBox that I need to activate the WLAN on the hardware first switch. Normally, it should bring a one-Screen-Display. What's wrong?

    Please help me. Thank you!

    Kaan

    Hello

To control media buttons, install Toshiba controls. The number of units by FN + F8 should be installed wireless hotkey but for this model it is not listed on the download page. I guess you have to install some different tools and it should work. Make sure that you have installed:
    -common modules
    -hotkey utility
    -utilities
    - and of course good WLAN driver.
