  Hey everybody! I just bought MainStage for the first time and I can't wait to try it. However, it does not start! Can anyone help?

  (1) when I run MainStage 3.2.3 it briefly appears in my dock, and then disappears.

  (2) I am then warned that it crashed with the ability to send a report to apple.

  (3) I have tried uninstalling and reinstalling, nothing helps.

  Here's my problem.  We must improve our APEX of 4.1.1 to 4.2.2 (completed), but one of our legacy applications will not run.  It redirects repeatedly until the browser returns an error message indicating that "Firefox has detected that the server redirects the request for this address in a way that will never complete.".  If you are using a session '0' then the Login page works, however, no other page will work.  If you open firebug, you can see that APEX creates many different cookies with the same name.  What is going on?

  Well, who did not take long for me to understand!

  The issue was that the cookie has been set to 'secure' and we test it not secure.

  I hope that someone will get use of it anyway.

  Downloaded BB Desktop Software on the laptop (Vista) and get screen saying device to connect. What connection BB Curve 9360 with USB cable, nothing happens in Charge only mode (as recommended by the help of BB). I have mass media ticked (as found on your forum).

  When you use the USB Mode, it opens the file manager with only access to some pictures of BB. When you try to media Mode it open Windows Media Player and messed up my photos on BB.

  Try this:

  • Download Java for Mac OS X 2014-001 http://support.apple.com/kb/dl1572.

  • Install the update of Java by using the downloaded .dmg file.

    When the installation is complete, a software update dialog box appears. The dialog box says that Java SE 6 Runtime is required to run Adobe Illustrator CS6.

  • In the software update dialog box, click install.

  • Launch of Illustrator.

    In Adobe Illustrator CS6 some plug-ins a dependency on Java, Java is required so that they work correctly.

  You should see the world music JamPack in GarageBand library, once you restart the MAc after you downloaded and installed.

  I see all MainStage JamPacks in the legacy section, when I choose a software instrument track in garageBand.

  I use the latest version of MainStage on the latest version of Mac OS X El captain as well.

  I'm having a problem when I want to reset the progressive values program change numbers.

  The real function in the works of MainStage, but once the program changes have been reassigned, MainStage is unresponsive to changes in my controller patch.

  If I manually change the program numbers, MainStage then responds.

  In the midi window, I can see that the patch change information are sent to the MainStage but without some form of response from the program.

  I can't help you with the problem you are having, but you can provide your feedback directly to Apple via the menu drop down Mainstage. They can or not to respond, but all feedback is apparently verified; I was contacted twice over the last 6 years after the filing of comments on bugs.

  Tried to install Windows 8 via a USB bootable work has confirmed...
  The laptop does not detect except Legacy Support is turned on...
  Once Windows is installed on drive (1 TB 5400 original disc), if I turn OFF then Legacy Support again (as DEFAULT) it starts not from the installed windows now HDD - only when I put Legacy Support back on will it boot.

  Why can't have two readers in the laptop and choose which start from the first that is alternate between discs easily when I choose?
  For a decent computer ", a poor quality BIOS, it disappoints BIG TIME.
  It should be fairly easy for programmers to HP create a GUI BIOS updated with the best options.

  I bought 8.1 Pro student - implemented on a USB stick (the same Corsair Voyager one) - activated UEFI mode...

  It set up perfectly om the 240 GB agility SSD 3!

  On the F9 boot menu option it acknowledged even the USB as UEFI.

  Very happy now :))

  BUT, can you please help me with something else?

  I put the 1 TB HDD in BAY2 5400 original, and it is not recognized at all.

  Any suggestions?

• Blocking incoming MIDI orders

  I am aware that some MIDI messages (like aftertouch and maintain) can be filtered, but is it possible to block or filter the MIDI cc numbers (orders) all or part in MainStage 3? I am interested because I started doing concerts outside the city in which I present with my computer mac laptop and keyboards are rented. Unfortunately, many times theses keyboards are MIDI messages that screw my MainStage performance and there is not enough time to understand before showing. If I could program MainStage to ignore everything except what I really need (volume, expression, etc.) it would make life easier. Has anyone encountered this problem? I with my own personal keyboards as well, but I found them accordingly, that's why MainStage works very well when I play locally with my own material. Any help or ideas would be appreciated.   I don't think that Mainstage can filter other streams of midi data that you already mentioned in the tabs in midi in patch mode.

  I often use Yamaha keyboards as controllers of the Motif series, for example, and they spit active remote sensing and midi sync. Although he's not trashing the way responds Mainstage, I have to manually disable sync midi on the controller itself and I can filter midi well active detection.

  I recently bought the Pavilion 500-516nc with preinstsalled of Windows 8.1. I was intending to set up a dual-boot for the computer, as the seller claims that this machine is suitable for a number of operating systems.  However, I can't install and run the operating system I want.

  UEFI mode, the computer is not USB, or the DVD-ROM and does not offer to start from other sources, with the exception of the Windows boot loader, even after I disabled the 'secure' boot When I go to the legacy, I can actually run the other OS live USB or DVD and I can install it. However, the legacy would not boot from the HARD disk for some reason any (perhaps because the disc capacity is too large?). And I can't find a way to make the system work, I installed through legacy mode UEFI.

  I would not return the unit to the store, because it suits me almost all the other senses, but this issue is a big problem for me. What can we do about it?

  I ran the systems dual boot for years using Windows and Ubuntu, Linux.  The best way to do this, it uses two hard disks.  Windows do not play nice with the other OS' are on the same hard disk.

  That said, if you want to install Ubuntu on the same drive, here's a guide that should help you:

  I tried several Linux distributions and found Ubuntu to be the easiest to use.

  All the latest video cards require UEFI in the motherboard instead of a standard BIOS to legacy.  The last card that does not need UEFI is the GT 640.  You can read the specifications of the card in the link I have provided.  You can contact EVGA Tech Support to ensure that it will work on your computer.  She says that it requires a power supply (PSU) 350W.  In fact, I recommend at least a 400W power supply.  I love Corsair products.  I suggest to measure the PSU existing and comparing the dimensions that you choose.

  I have a new HP Envy computer without dvd port. I bought an external portable dvd player, but I can't it to work with windows 8.1.  It is not yet registered as being hung. It worked fine on the computer windows 7 my husband and was able to play a dvd.

  I guess it's usb. It should work. Sometimes the player does not display in Windows Explorer until you actually drive. Have you tried? Also, make sure that you plug into one of the usb 2.0 legacy ports. Sometimes, things that are not USB 3 don't work well in the usb ports 3. Find the port that does not have a blue tab plastic inside.
