• All embedded videos in articles of the internet and YouTube play sound but no picture

  My problem started about 2 weeks ago. Before that, I could directly play any video on Youtube or any video embedded in a Web download.
  Now video games, in the sense that I have sound and the time elapsed bar moves along the bottom of the screen, but there is no video, just a complete green screen. This applies to any video on Youtube or incorporated into an internet download.
  I can still play any video I already downloaded on my PC, that this Flash Video or MP4 file.
  The latest versions of Windows Media Player, VLC Media Player, Media Player Classic and Adobe Flash Player players installed on my PC.
  The problem started at the same time there was a major update to my program free antivirus Avast (to the 8.0.1482 version), but it is probably a red herring, as I struggle to believe this might have something to do with the problem.
  I also tried on Internet Explorer and the problem is all the same, it is not specific to Firefox.
  Can anyone offer a solution?

  I have disabled protected mode in Flash, in accordance with the instructions in the link you provided, but it made no apparent difference.
  I can't find how to disable hardware acceleration in the flash plugin. Can you help me here?
  I disable the Shockwave Flash plugin as a trial and immediately videos appararurent again in videos in the downloads on the internet. Why disable Shockwave Flash authorized these photos seem to I don't know.
  It is not practical, however, leave Shockwave Flash off, because many of the embedded videos using Flash so I can't view.

• Download issues of the article with the video file

  Hello

  I can't download a .article file that has a video. Article file is 51MB.

  It just says: to run, and the progress bar does not exceed 15%. Is no error message or another.

  Anyone else having problems downloading files with the video?

  I have downloaded and publish a video section with more than twice the size you used (it has 105, 35 MB) and it worked without any problem.

  -Have you tried using another internet connection (a cable instead of a WiFi network)?

• E4200 Replacing Gigabit Router FIOS

  So I have this red gigabit with the 150/65 service router.  It connects via ethernet for internet and has a coaxial cable to transmit data from the guide etc.

  So my idea was to let the Verizon router connected and on (with a wi - fi off) he could make the TV stuff and just plug in my router to the ethernet port on the wall the Verizon guy installed.

  Not so easy of course, my E4200 will not recognize ethernet of my HAVE (I think that's what we call the device that they put in my basement) and the internet does not work.  I factory reset the router.

  The reason I do all this because the e4200 to 2.4 ghz wireless range is nearly unmatched and given of my house, the actiontech cannot reach my room.

  Any help is very appreciated, I can't imagine that it is too difficult, since I already have the ethernet connection.

  Some modems act as a modem/router that might be in your case. You must cascaded routers, and you can use a lan wan connection. But you need to change the ip address of the E4200 so that it will not lead to a conflict with the modem. Replace with 192.168.5.1 or something as long as the third byte third segment) is not the same as the modem. Then, you can configure the way you want wireless.

• Updates Windows 7 - stuck on 'check updates'...

  I have a HP desktop computer.  Running Windows 7 Home Premium.  Recently upgraded to the 10 Windows (while it was free).  Discovered that even after the analysis of compatibility says 'OK' I had to call Microsoft for more help and told me that my computer was not compatible.  Asked why the analysis said it was.  No real answer not followed.  Little has been said to restore to Windows 7.  After that I have known issues.  Before the update of window 10, this computer has been running great!

  in any case, I noticed recently that my computer is not updated.  When I go on ' check for updates ', it just stays on that.  The status bar does not move, but just on the 'check updates' for days.  The only way to stop it is to restart the computer.  But I know there are updates because my other computer is up-to-date (did not upgrade Windows 10 - but is currently running Windows 7).  So, I have sen the videos and articles on remove and clean up the folder "Software Distribution".  I did it several times and it DOESN'T WORK.  At one point, I decided to do a factory restore.  Took the computer to update 1.  At ran Windows Update and found 16 available updates and other things to seem to be good.  But noticed once the "Service Pack 1" has been downloaded and installed the Windows Update is blocked again.  So, I'm lost here.  What can I do?  Is there a solution?  Or should I trash this computer and buy a MAC?  Questions please ask.

• Can someone explain calendar?

  Y at - it an article or something that I can look to explain how the time of lessons in Captivate? I don't know miss me something when I build. How I put it for an experience self-paced? I don't know how long it will take someone to read a slide... What don't get me? What am I supposed to be done so that each slide moves forward when the user chooses to move forward? Hope that makes sense. I don't think that I just do it; I'm just the slide duration very long to give them some time, but I have a feeling that is not the right approach. Any advice or links to videos and articles are appreciated. Thank you.

  One of the ways to allow the user to progress at their own pace is to have a button or click box and Smart Shape object that is a break from the slide. Once they have absorbed the information they click on the object to move to the next slide.

  Unless you have audio on a slide, that you really don't want the duration of the slide to be just as long as it causes an increase in the size of your file. In General, you want to do everything you can to ensure that the smallest file size possible.

  I may be dense, or maybe that I had my head too deeply into all of these DPS stuff for too long, but I can't for the life of me make heads or tails of the application of the process for my application of several question.

  I downloaded the publishing companion guide and read it with a blanket, but I'm still stuck.

  There are other resources out there that could help me understand this part of the process? Sometimes a completely different perspective on the same topic helps me to understand things. Videos, podcasts, articles? No matter what?

  I think I did it on my mental barrier. My question was of hierarchy of the bundle IDs. For the future, if everyone is struggling with the same thing, it must be, for example:

  App bundle ID: com.companyname.appname

  Free preview ID: com.companyname.appname.free

  Detail ID number: com.companyname.appname.retail

  The questions were not appear properly when I got my app bundle ID as com.companyname.appname.x

  On many web pages, videos that are included in an article, are just big white spaces with nothing (no video click on whatever it is) in them. If I open a browser IE and go to the same article, it displays and plays the video perfectly. I know many people who knows this.

  Also check if your anti-virus is blocking the video. Could you put the link to the article? This happens with a single article or any web site?

  How it to the design process, I want to say these are the rules of conviviality right base? whenever someone passes away or departs a video, they won't look so why let the video game in the background at all?

  audio stops because the iPad can only play a media at a time.

  I've got 1 video which is used inside 2 different articles.

  Looking at the foliosize we look at whether the clip is imported twice despite are the two video links from the same file InDesign.

  Is there a way to work around this dual import?

  Yes, the video is downloaded twice if it's in two different articles. The solution is to add the video to HTMLResources and link from a Web content overlay. For more details, see the overlays folio advanced in the ends of DPS.

• application crashes when jumping from article with video to another article with video

  I read a thread on this subject earlier today which dates back to January in which an Adobe employee said that this problem has been resolved, but unfortunately I knew it now. I have several articles that include videos and another article with lots of great pictures. When I try to navigate from one article to the other, the content viewer stops and goes back to the home screen. According to the thread, this is known as the memory problem and I followed the suggestions to reinstall the viewer and reboot the iPad, but it did not help. Right now the only way to use the app is to navigate to the cover and continue from there which is defeated the point of having a navigation throughout the app. I can't get out just the videos or photos in order to reduce the size of the file. Any advice? Thank you!

  Adobe DPS me technical support has called about it, it's a matter of priority and sent to engineering with my example files. I spent almost shock!

  They said that this is a problem in versions recent (20/21) and it disappears in version 22.

• AutoPlay video in an HTML article?

  As the title says - I have a HTML article whose code begins a video game. It works fine in Safari on Mac, but in the Viewer, it touch me to start the video (or run the entire script?).

  Some googling and asking indicates that this might be a limitation imposed by apple, to avoid hijacked web pages. Not sure about that.

  It's the 'cover' the app and I need to start by itself, or I'll need to dump all the HTML features and just use it as a video autoplay.

  Has anyone faced this before? Or is my code just bad?

  Yes, and to my knowledge, it is not possible. Apple imposes these restrictions in mobile safari to keep developers eat surprisingly bandwidth to users when they're on cellular connections, at least it's their reasoning. There used to be a work-around which a developer could simulate a click on the js to start a video, but who stopped with an updated version 4.2.x by apple.
