  world events are a standard way for communication between the applications (or components app), they work fine.
  I suggest to use, as an alternative, you can take a look at http://www.blackberry.com/developers/docs/7.1.0api/net/rim/device/api/system/RuntimeStore.html , it allows to share objects, for example a shared service.
  We use it for our loggerservice and a few others, but to alert we depend on usually world events.

  To be honest with you, I don't know if it is possible to change the behavior on the client side. You the best solution is to configure the server to use SSL 3.0 or, ideally, TLS. Relying on older versions of the protocols of security is a bad idea, because they are your most vulnerable backend.

• vSphere 6 FT cannot yet compensate for shared storage takedown?

  a few questions about the PI with vsphere 6.0 — we just noted this in the test lab:

  (a) is it true that the 'source' vm where you want to enable IP MUST be on shared storage? because it seems that way.

  As you mentioned in the documents, it is now possible to locate the storage for the target on a separate storage VMDK (this can also be a non-shared storage just seen by the target host).

  Now the second question: we ft´t just a machine (source on the shared storage, target on a local storage of target esxi. Bootet, installed the virtual machine just cool. Each host may die - all cool.

  NOW, we killed the shared storage of laboratory. We wondered: Hmmmm... OK... If the second host the vmdk and both hosts have the namespace and the vmx why not keep the virtual machine running on the target storage? But what we saw was disappointing: the protected virtual machine became unresponsive. Is this expected behavior? The new ft cannot lose the shared storage?

  Three thousand years ago, I was programmer baby Hypercard and Hypertalk was my tongue. HC was probably the killer app of its time. Although I basically buried HC a long time ago I still think about him now and then when I reached for a built-in Flash that isn't here - that I thought was there - and realize I just had a flashback HC.

  Functions on are bad choices because they are too general. You must use
  movieClipInstance.onRollOver = function() {} then, what you could do is to start
  a timer and run a function in dire.5 seconds - in the onRollOut
  function you deactivate the interval. Here's a sample:

• RuntTime loading of Application Flex components

  I'm about to take the plunge and start using Flex to a new web application, but I am concerned about the loading time. Flex compiles applications in a single SWF file that must be downloaded in its entirety by the customer. We add new features to our web - app, the SWF file size will increase. What is the simplest to develop the application so that the components are loaded on demand and not all at the same time. For example, if we add a Community Council to our web - app, I only want it must be loaded for users to click on the link to the Community Council.

  You have a few options,

  (1) the easy. Create a hybrid app and divide several films. And then use an IFrame to load the different "movies", according to the needs.

  (2) use the RSLs. Flash is use intelligent a component once or 10 times, it's okay. Flash only loads the code for the movie once in the .swf. You will find that your applications don't grow that fast after the initial size. However, with the RSL you can move all the common elements in their own SWF that caches your users browser (since it is a swf file that is not changing)

  (3) use the functionality of ApplicatioDomain/object. To find out what it is - read this blog. There are a few posts on this topic among Flex engineers.
