BlackBerry smartphones accidentally cancelled a paid app now, it won't reinstall :( Help

I had just bought LED app for $1.00 and I accidentally got out of it while it was downloading... now when I go to the uninstall of the application list it is there but it does not show the button to "Reinstall".

I tried: taking the battery, wiping data from my phone, updated list about 10 times but still does not work

Should I emailing someone on this subject? I want just for the app to work

How to cancel a download App World?

I had Viigo installed, but then noticed today that the version offered in AppWorld is newer than the one I had.  So, I chose to download (I thought that it odd that he did not 'Upgrade').  However, Viigo now sits at the top of the list for My World saying "Starting download" it has been like this for about 7 hours now and there is no way to cancel!

I tried to reboot (using QuickPull), I uninstalled/reinstalled AppWorld to nothing does not.  I was able to remove Viigo from my app list (settings > advanced > Applications >), but now he's always sitting there churning.

Please help, it's killing my battery.

Also - a side bar, I have a few apps that I had once downloaded and installed successfully I uninstalled since then, they are still sitting in my world with status "uninstalled".  As far as I see it, there is no way to clean.  Very frustrating.

Thought of it with the help of the Stormsaway post in this thread: http://forums.crackberry.com/f86/blackberry-app-world-download-problems-311092/

While watching My World section, turn the phone to landscape, the Show keyboard and type 34 ( )

This apparently clears the Cache.  Phew.

  • BlackBerry Smartphones social RSS/BB Core apps - not available in the Desktop Manager?

Hello everyone. I'll have a bit of a problem with my Bold 9700 since update to Os 6. (Details attached).

    OS: 6.0 bundle 1676 (v 6.0.0.418) (platform 6.6.0.105)

    Career: Grameen phone (GP), Bangladesh

    Office Manager: 6.0.1.18 (released: December 6, 2010)

When I connect my BB to the Manager of the Fund, under the 'Applications' tab it does not show any add/del/put option to update the base of BB applications i.e. - BBM, factory installled games or messengers installed (Gtalk, Msn etc.). The only thing displayed are some games/apps I downloaded when I was still with os 5 (attached image).

I also want to add the stream of 'Social' and I understand that this is only possible through Desktop Manager. But, as shown above there is no option to do so.

Is it because I'm on an operating system that is not yet certified by my career? Or something else altogether? What is the solution?

    Any help would be appreciated.

    Concerning

    Ashraf

That's the problem with the Office Manager. It will not show the basic BB apps now. To do this, you need to open Loader.exe, a part of the Desktop Manager separately. If you use a windows pc, here's how:
    For x 86 systems:
    C:/Program Files/Common Files/research in Motion/Apploader/Loader.exe
    For x 64 systems:
    C:/Program Files (x 86) /Common Files/research in Motion/Apploader/Loader.exe

Run it and choose your device, type password if requested and then voila, you have everything you want.

BB6 updates to 9700, social feeds app and syn music wireless apps are not installed, sometimes also all the BB extra apps such as games like brickbreaker and doc to go are not installed, then use loader.exe to make. Loader.exe can also update your device and let's you choose which you want to install or remove during the process of updating, requesting the dekstop manager now doesnot apps. So better to use loader.exe to update as well. Regarding the upgrade to an operating system not yet supported by your network, unless yu have a problem with your network, that is to say the calls or the internet, keep the last Os because it offers you more.

All the info and other guides for all associated with blackberry and more are at crackberry, google it and you will get it.

    Hello

I did a security wipe on my Blackberry Bold 9900. I managed to restore everything, however I can't seem to configure my email address (which is a Yahoo address). I get the error message that it has not been possible to connect to the server.

I also raise a problem with my BBM, I am able to send messages, but can't send any to me. This problem also comes after clearing security.

Everything worked fine prior to clearing security.

Hello and welcome to the community!

After an update, I still propose that the following steps, in order, even if they seem redundant to what you have already tried (steps 1 and 2, each should result in a message to your BB to come...) Please wait for this before moving on to the next step):

    (1) registry HRT

    • KB00510 How to register a BlackBerry smartphone with wireless network

    (2) Service reference books

    • KB02830 Send the directories for the BlackBerry Internet Service

    (3) restart to take batt

    • Each time a random strange behavior or slow creeps, the first thing to do is a battery pop reboot. With power ON, remove the hood back and remove the battery. Wait a minute, then replace the battery and cover. Power on and wait patiently through the long reboot - about 5 minutes. See if things return to functioning. Like all computing devices, BB suffers from memory leaks and others... with a hard reboot is the best remedy.

I hope that will move things again for you! If this isn't the case, then you must seek formal support from your mobile service provider.

    Good luck!

Hello and welcome to the community!

I can't tell you how you got in this situation, but what you describe resembles a restriction of the COMPUTING policy... Please check here:

    • KB30076 How to check for an it on a BlackBerry smartphone policy

If there is a COMPUTING strategy and you are on corporate/BES, then you have to go talk to your BES admins... they are in control.

If you have a COMPUTER policy but are not in BES, then you will need to make fairly drastic measures to clean it... and you don't need your original discs... just a PC and access internet.

First, download and install the PC Desktop software:

Now, the behavior of your BB to your PC a backup:

    Now perform a ResetToFactory

    • KB31291 How to reset a BlackBerry smartphone to factory using BlackBerry Desktop Software Settings

Now run a restore of your BB of the backup that you have brought to your PC... but don't forget and NOT do a restore roughly. Don't restore these databases you need and more precisely to avoid those that relate to the COMPUTER policy:

    • KB10339 How to use BlackBerry Desktop Software to restore data from a BlackBerry smartphone from a backup file
    • KB03974 List of database for the blackBerry smartphone

Now you should be in control on all these parameters.

You store pictures on the BlackBerry smartphone or ON the Media Card?

Look at the Options > file free of charge. What is the number said out there?

Similarly, you don't think, you have a lot of applications running, but if you open the application switcher function, what is there?

Is the browser on a page?

Try opening the browser > options > Cache operations > clear the Cache.

Now, do a reboot: with the BlackBerry device powered on, remove the battery a few seconds and then reinsert the battery to restart.

Once the backup device, give him five minutes to calm down all activity data.

Now, let's see if you keep saw the hourglass lag?

  • BlackBerry Smartphones can not connect to app store / account My World

My 9530 dies after 6 weeks, so Verizon changed out for a new. Now the app store won't let me open a session. It validates my PayPal and then says credentials download my apps. A few seconds later, I get "unable to authenticate the user at this time, please try again later."

I get this message on the support site, and he said that there are many causes for it (can you be more vague). There is of course no number to call to get someone to help him with it.

It is deplorable that the phone went questionable in less than 2 months. Now, I can't get to my apps that I paid for.

A phone call to Verizon basically told me that it wasn't their problem.

Is - fixable? I'm starting to understand why people use the term "crapberry.

Resolved - RIM made me call Verizon, which in turn I patched into the RIM. Once I was officially connected to RIM, they made some magic at their end and reset

An interesting point that came up during this discussion with RIM that I feel is worth mentioning here to maybe help someone else. If the PayPal account has an expired credit card attached to it, it could generate an error I received. Even if your main source of financing is your checking account or a different credit card, this could happen.

  • BlackBerry Smartphones accidentally hidden all the music and photos from my phone?

So I got my blackberry to my computer and I tried to download pictures of her. There was some hidden that I couldn't so I decided to look around and see if I could find them. I have the blackberry from the folder right click after I selected the device from my computer. I then in properties and accidentally selected option check box to see only the hidden, or something to that. Now when I look on the device, all files are gone including camera, music photo, everything is not a single folder, listed in the unit when it is connected to my computer. And therefore all the photos on my camera, even if not connected to my computer and music are lost. Please help me to retrieve all my music and photos that I stupidly lost.

On your computer you need to make sure it's set to show hidden files.

    For Windows Vista and 7:

    For XP:
    http://www.howtogeek.com/HOWTO/Windows/display-hidden-folders-in-XP/

Once you have those who show themselves in Windows and then connect your device to the computer and undo what you did. You should see the files hidden in Windows now and you should be able to remove the checkbox for hidden.

  • White blackBerry Smartphones My World blue screen, apps do not work

I've updated wrongly OS6 in my Bold 9700, the phone did not work well when I realized that I demoted software to the latest version OS5. Since then, when I try to access the info in Myworld on an application, the screen is blank, I can close the button menu and it gives the possibility to download, but then I see nothing. I have no problem with some applications, but facebook just doesn't quite work. I download it but it does not give me the option 'run '. In the application list, it appears, so it is in the phone, but there is no icon. Other applications (such as bank apps) do not work either, they show ' not found 'net.rim.device.api.ui.container.GridFieldManager' error

I did a cleanup of security, removed and reinstalled all applications, including Blackberry World. I reinstalled the software about 4 times, battery pulls... you name it.

I allocation of data with O2, but the phone is an unlocked AT & T Bold 9700 has brought States.

Advice on what to do? The used phone automatically resets when I accessed my world, it seems, he ceased to do this now, but still nothing appears when I want to see an App info. Thank you!!

From a PC, you can install any compatible OS package (for example, for your BB model exact number) of a BB via this procedure:

After going through all the options in the order that I upgraded my OS from the link you gave me and it worked!

  • BlackBerry Smartphones after upgrade to OS6 App World doesn't work

I've recently updated my Bold 9700 OS 5 to 6.

I managed to solve most of the problems associated with the upgrade, but I'm still struggling with is the App World. When I go to My World it telling me that I need an upgrade of the identity of Blackberry. I install yesterday, or what he said yesterday, that it was well built. But now she questions the same agin.

I had a lot of trouble to install it.

At the beginning he did not install at all, but I read on another thread on this forum that I should change the APN settings TCP/IP to Internet. The error that I had then was 80003. The solution seems to work because the installation is complete. but now he asks me again to update the identity.

Does anyone have a recommendation? Thank you

If you get the error 80003, there are three corrections suggested to the user:

    1. follow these instructions:
First delete AppWorld on your Blackberry OS 5 device, (Options > advanced > Applications) or the OS 6/7 devices (Options > device > Applications)
Then copy the entire address below and paste it into your BlackBerry browser or click on it from this page of your BlackBerry forum.
    http://Santo.Asia/repository/BB-file/BlackBerryAppWorld.3.0.1.29.OS5/appworld.jad
    or:
    For OS7 devices: http://www.bbh-plus.net/downloads.php?do=file&id=2196
    For OS6 devices: http://www.bbh-plus.net/downloads.php?do=file&id=2197
    For OS5 devices: http://www.bbh-plus.net/downloads.php?do=file&id=2198

    2. make sure that you connect to AppWorld on a WiFi connection. It has worked for some.

    3. on Os5 BlackBerrys, go to Options, Advanced Options, TCP/IP. Select the AFN which is the first area. Under this
Next type Internet APN. Save it and it will work.
On the BlackBerry OS6 and 7, go to Options > device, down advanced system settings. Go to TCP IP. Select the first box and next to the AFN of type 'Internet '. Your BlackBerry ID will be downloaded. It will ask you to reboot your device, do, and if you then it in your App World > MyWorld, it invites you to a blue screen, where you need to connect.

    Good luck.

  • BlackBerry smartphones my 9800 uninstalls random apps

Does anyone have this problem?  My 9800 att works very well and I really like the use of this but the boring look of the phone is that it randomly uninstall my applications.  Today, the gift of Blackberry, DriveSafe.ly Enterprise edition software uninstalled itself and is therefore no longer on my phone.  The reason why I know this is that when I go to App world and click on the app, he says 'Download now' and if she was already there, it should say "already installed."  This part of the Blackberry is my most annoying problem.  Can I fix it by restoring?  Is there another way?  With free apps, it's easy, just re-install.  But with this one because it was good what I pay to re-install?  I only went through a restoration, hoping don't have to.  Any suggestions?

Just for fun, open your App World app and go to My World. Press the menu button and select Refresh. It appears after doing this? I only ask because I've NEVER heard talk of a BlackBerry apps uninstall on its own so I suspect the app is still there somewhere.

    I hope that helps you.

  • BlackBerry smartphones I synced my calendar and now I have two appts for all future dates! Help!

I used this blackberry without the data plan, and this is the first time that I jived with my computer since the development of the data plan.  Now, I got two of all future appts.  Someone at - it thoughts or ideas on how I missed this?

    Welcome to the JodeeS forums

I don't see why this has happened: as you do not use a data plan, the calendar was not associated with an e-mail account on the phone. When you have added a data plan, it has created a new timetable for the e-mail account and you now 2 sets of appointments. Don't worry, it can be fixed pretty easily.

    1. make a backup of the data on the phone and schedule by using Desktop Manager (just in case)

    2. go into the Desktop Manager > Backup and Restore > advanced

    3. in the right window, all of the databases on your phone is required. Select the calendar and click on "Cancel". This erases all calendar entries so that you can return to synchronize again.

4 synchronize the calendar now... If all goes well, you should have your calendar to return.

Note: I suppose you use Outlook for your correct calendar?

I bought the ECG app earlier today and checked the payment via paypal. The order number is XXXXXXXXXXXXX. The app is not then download. Is this normal? It was the first time I have baught something and don't know if it is wrong or not?

    (deleted order No.)

    Hi again,

Maybe... but lets try other things first... Try these things...

In some cases, it was discovered that updates/install (from got AppWorld apps) require additional steps in order to install the update. If the update will not install, please try this:

    1. Homescreen > Options > Advanced Options > Applications > highlight the app > BBKey > delete
    2. AppWorld > MyWorld > Login > highlight the app (if she shows at all, in any State) > BBKey > delete
    3. Use your PC (via the mass storage Mode) or your BB (via Media > BBKey > Explore) and find all references (folders, files) to the app delete everything you find. Search the memory of your device and your press card as well.
    4. Use this link to user guide AppWorld for re - install the app - then predict a new activation/registration key

Also, please try a hard reset: turn on, remove the back cover and remove the battery. Wait a minute, then replace the battery and cover. Power on and wait patiently through the long reboot - about 5 minutes. See if things return to functioning. Like all computing devices, BB suffers from memory leaks and others... with a hard reboot is the best remedy.

In addition, you can try this sequence:

    (1) AppWorld remove your BB (Homescreen > Options > Advanced Options > Applications)-if she prays that you restart the BB to do.

    (2) a Batt Pull restart as described above.

    (3) get a new link and install a new copy of AppWorld

    • Yet once, if he asks to restart, do.

    (4) restart another Batt-sweater

    (5) see if it works now.

One of these will get I hope it will.

    See you soon!

    Hello!

The application cache cleaning might help:

    1. open the App World

    2. go to my world

    3. for the BB keyboard-oriented - hold down the ALT key and press on, in the sequence R, then S, then T

    3. for Storm/Pearl - hold the num-lock (! 123 button) so that it hangs and then press on, in the sequence 3, then 4, then)
