L50D-a satellite - poor audio stereo / speaker jack

I just bought a Satellite L50D and the sound of my stereo when I connect the audio cable is very poor. My old Satellite and Satellite friends have its awesome. Base depth, lots of volume etc.
My new L50D looks like an old radio.
No bass or the courage at all.

Any help would be appreciated!

Thank you

You have connected the laptop to your stereo equipment using the headphone jack?
Is this correct?

In this case, you must change the parameters of the stereo (EQ, etc.)

In addition, you should check the pre-installed software called TOSHIBA Audio Enhancement Utility.
The Toshiba Audio enhancement request has been designed to deliver an audio experience strongly improved when listening for example your pieces of music favorite.

What type of jack audio and microphone is on the acer aspire v3 - 571 g? I would like to buy a headset that needs an audio PLUG to 4 pin + jack mic combined (iPhone/Samsung headsets with microphone) and I was wondering if my laptop was there.

Your laptop has standard audio input/output jacks. 3.5 mm plug. Absolutely, you can buy the kit microphone and headphones, but you will need an adapter that allows to use the headphone jack and microphone jack separately on your device.

  • Satellite M40 - 142, stereo audio input

I can 'stereo' record through the microphone in Satellite M40 - 142?
It is possible to have a line-input/output stereo or mono only?

    Hello

As far as I know the line output (headphone jack) allows the connection of stereo headphones (16 Ohm min.) or a different audio output device. When you connect headphones, the internal speaker is automatically disabled. The input line (Jack Microphone) allows to connect a monaural microphone or other audio input device.

  • Satellite A100-2101won ' t I would change the microphone to the speaker jack on

    Hello

I just bought a system from its 4.1 surround for better sound to my laptop Satellite A100-201 with Windows XP Realtek HD audio on.
The sound system has two 3.5 mm jacks.

I tried to put it so the microphone jack acts as the front speakers and headphones like the rear speakers but to Realtek taking it won't let me change the plug microphone, speakers on as only 2 channels are involved in the drop-down bar.

Anyone got any ideas on how to get it to work?

    Thanks in advance

    Graham

    > but in Realtek it doesn't let me change the microphone jack to the speakers on as only 2 channels are involved in the drop-down bar

To be honest, I don't think that you will be able to change the mic as a speaker on port port.
The mic is an audio plug-in interface that receives audio signals! You can't use it as an audio output port!

Using your speakers, you need an Audio Spliter, or use a special cable that take a 3.5 mm and is divided into several females 3.5 mm.
Then, you could take your speakers and plug for the two or three (four) 3.5 mm male ends in the female ends that comes out of your headphones Jack (s/PDIF)

  • Satellite P500: Audio "what you hear" or "Stereo Mix available?

I am a member of a seniors computer club and they lent me the Toshiba P500 model PSPG8A computer so I can set up events for some meetings, this computer running Windows 7.

One of the characteristics of the P500, I am to research is Audio "what you hear" or "Stereo Mix" as I will need to capture from the speakers.

All I can find for recording is the built-in microphone, no line or other controls, I've never seen so little on a computer before.
This computer has "what you hear" or "Stereo Mix", if so how do you access them?
The audio cards are only Microphone and headphones.

If the computer does not have these characteristics, if someone could suggest what external alternatives I have to allow this computer to record directly to the speakers.

As I do not have a user manual, could you please indicate where I can download it from, have looked but can not find on the web.

    Hello

I put t know what P500-xxx you have exactly, but P500-10J, which belongs to the series of PSPG8E does not support the Line In, or out of line
The laptop seems to support HDMI out jack and head phone microphone port.

I downloaded the manual for this series of laptop and other audio jacks are not mentioned
It seems therefore that the function that you requested is not available :(

  • Re: Satellite A100-033 PSAANE: Realtek Audio stereo Mix has become 'lost '.

Following an encouraging response to a question from the forum, I replaced the original 60 G hard drive in my Toshiba Satellite A100-033 PSAANE with a 500 G drive.
All right, except that I have more "Stereo Mix Realtek High Definition Audio" in the recording tab in the audio in the control panel.
This means that I can't record any sound at all, if I try to capture sound, for example to help start Video Capture Software from NCH.

If I replace the original 60G drive, stereo mix Realtek is there and I can record OK. If I plug my external sound card, I can record the sound with it. If (in my new 500G drive), I look in Device Manager in the Control Panel, Realtek High Definition Audio is listed under game controllers & sound video. Thus, it seems that the correct driver is correct. But somehow, it is not recognized under sound in the Control Panel, and it cannot be used by software that requires it.

It may be a simple problem but it's confusing to me. Can anyone help?

    Thanks for this second info

  • Satellite A100: audio stream recorder requires that called the stereo mix

Try to use a workflow program audio recorder/converter, but it requires what is called "stereo mix". The toshiba only a100 doesn't seem to have this? Help?
I have tried downloading drivers latest Tosh site for Realtek sound card, but it has not made a difference.

    Hello

First of all, Toshiba has designed different models Satellite A100. You should put a portable name exactly.
Second, what do you do exactly?
Called the stereo mix is unfortunately not a very expressive information.

As far as I know on some units of the A100, the sound effect Manager realtek HD is installed.
Here you can choose different settings and audio control inputs and outputs.
Toshiba virtual sound is also pre-installed on the A100. Here, you can set the parameters for a surround sound.
By the way; all applications that you can find in the control panel.

  • Satellite L650-PSK1JE - can't get 5.1 or audio - stereo only

I have the Toshiba Satellite L650-PSK1JE with radon mobility 5650 and is connected via HDMI to my receiver sony
whitch is then by an another HDMI connected to the TV.
Problem is that I can't get 5.1 or quadrophonic sound cell phone, stereo only.

I tried installing drivers from TOSHIBA web site, as well as pilots from other sites (old drivers everi time deleteng) and still can't make it work. Currently have the drivers ATI 12.6. and audio drivers conexant official.

In his propertis it says that the maximum number of channels is 2. But in manual graphics card it says that it supports up to 7.1 via HDMI.

Funny, it is only once (but only once) a surround sound worked, and I had the choice to select 5.1.

Is it possible that I need to do something with mid sony DH520 Receiver.

    > The problem is that I can't not quadrophonic sound notebook, only stereo or 5.1.
I have not experts for this, but, as far as I know in the last Toshiba m gave portable computers with optical audio port (red light inside the sound output port) and it was possible to get 5.1 activation option in the sound settings 5.1. Toshiba has offered this Qosmio and some Satellite laptops.

Out of curiosity: are you using the original pre-installed OS that you got with your laptop?

I want to buy the Pioneer VSX-S500 so it's very interesting for me to know if you will be able to make it work properly.

  • Satellite A300 - series stereo Mix unavailable with the Conexant audio driver

    Hello...

    I have laptop Toshiba Satellite A300 PSAJ0E...
I was using Windows XP Professional...

But I'm not able to use Stereo Mix so special...
I installed the Driver Conexant HD SmartAudio 221...

What can I do in this topic...

    I thank right now...

    Best regards...

Unfortunately, but you can not do much
The point is that it is a Conexant audio driver problem. This option or parameter is simply not available in the Conexant audio driver and as a result the port of stereo mix is not available and cannot be used.

I don't think a driver update audio can help so expect an update.

    Cheers mate

  • Zoom H4n Audio stereo plays only the left speaker - how to double?

    Hi all

I've worked on several projects and I noticed that the audio captured by the Zoom H4n will preview in both speakers (and before as I slide the mounting I can right-click-> edit-> Audio channels and get options there but also hear it on both speakers) but as soon as I drag him in the timeline it will play only through the left speaker.

Any ideas where I'm wrong or how I can double the audio? It is all already cut together so I hope that there is a difficulty which is semi time efficient to apply lol. Thanks a lot for your help.

    -Karl

Since you are already done with the change, your quickest fix is to use the left audio effect fill (Audio Effects > stereo > left fill). Apply it to all the clips that do not play in the two ways; It will duplicate the left channel in the right. The fill right effect would be the opposite.

  • Satellite T210 problem of speaker sound audio (T210-112) if the system is moved

    * Phone: Satellite *.
    * Model: T210-112 *.
    * Operating system: Windows 7 *.
    Condition: new
    Versions of BIOS/Driver: unknown

    * Symptoms: *.
    * When the phone is picked up, fixed, tilted or moved * in the air during audio playback the * noise reverberates * for a short period until the system is stationary again.
To describe more in detail, the 'sound-bite' which plays currently gets stuck and repeats several times quickly and then continues to normal playback. Let's say, for example the audio clip plays someone who says the word "toshiba" and pick up the laptop in the middle of it, it comes out as "toshi-i-i-i-i-i-i-i-i-i-i-ba". This has been tested with the internet streaming audio and audio via youtube an installed demonstration program running.

    * Troubleshooting: *.
-Since it's a new laptop, I returned to the seller and checked if this happened on the view model in the shop. He did, so this seems to be a general problem.
-J' searched the forum, support pages, google without result.
-There seems to be no README / info AVAILABLE included with the latest version of the BIOS / Driver downloads from the Toshiba support site that describes known issues.
-J' looked for related information from REALTEK (I understand that it is an ALC259-based system) but nothing is there.

    * Suspicions: *.
I think this may be linked to the protection function of the hard disk (?) +, which is supposed to start when he realizes that the laptop may be declining. Perhaps this can be solved through BIOS or driver updates?
(I have not tried to disable this feature on the system, or update any components that I wanted to return the unmodified system to ensure the refund. I want to buy this system but will not do without a guaranteed solution.)

    I hope you can help!
    Thank you!

    Hello

    Akuma is right.
This is related to the installed HARD disk protection software.
If the laptop would be transferred to fast the HARD disk Protection software blocks the head of the HARD drive in order to avoid that the HARD drive against damage. This leads to delays while writing or reading data from the HARD drive.

It would be possible to remove the software from the system, but this is not recommended, because the software protects the drive HARD and without this software, you HARD drive may be damaged more quickly.

  • Satellite A350-how to disable the speaker internal while external speaker jack

    Hi all

Anyone knows how I can cut the House speaker while connecting to the external speaker?
I want to use my laptop in libuary, but when I plug in the headphones, the speaker still his, when I put in muted, the speaker and the headphones the two silent.
How can I configure the silent speaker, while external speakers can only keep silent?

    > Knowledge how can I mute the speaker internal while connecting to the external speaker?

I guess you have a Realtek sound card and Realtek HD audio Manager should appear in Control Panel.

Please check this Realtek HD audio Manager.
The speakers on the right tab, you will see the options analog & digital.
Right click one of the option and check if you could see a few options that provide a framework in order to mute the speakers.

You will also see the option called: the advantage of the device settings.
    Check this box too.

PS; my laptop automatically the internal speakers if the headphones have been connected.
I read in other threads that update the audio driver might help too, but first test the settings as mentioned above.

  • Qosmio G20 to Mini HiFI Stereo Speaker System AV cable

    Hello

When I connect my Qosmio G20 to my stereo using the AV cable (with jack white, yellow and red) and my Qosmio includes a cable that joins this cable 3 to the line of the laptop for the helmet.

The problem is, it only sends the sound to a speaker if I swap the cable then any other speaker works and the previous No.
I've tried installing speakers / two speakers on the options here and nobody done work.
I tried another set of audio/video cable and it is the same question.
This configuration works correctly if I connect it to the TV, but not on my stereo system.
Do I need a different cable?

    See you soon

    Hello

Are you sure you have connected the straight plugs at the HiFI?
You receive a stereo sound will have to connect only two sheets: RED and WHITE.

I ve also connected my phone to the stereo via a cable 1-2: a plug for headphones and 2 plugs (left, right) to the stereo.
    Everything works beautifully.

Oh I remember that my HiFi supports a controller at the rear to assign the sound to the left or right speaker.
I put it at intermediate level for both speakers.
Maybe it's the same on your HiFI

  • Satellite M100-191 - right speaker does not work

Hello, I have a Toshiba Satellite M100-191 with Windows 7 Ultimate 32 bit installed. It's that everything works well except the right speaker on the laptop, the same phenomenon occurs when I plugg the headphones, no sound on the right.

I did not change hardware or BIOS update. I use the latest audio drivers from Realtek, codec for HD Audio Codec Driver version 6.0.1.6649 ALC861, which I downloaded using this download link: [http://www.realtek.com.tw/downloads/downloadsView.aspx?Langid=1&PNid=24&PFid=24&Level= 4 & Conn = 3 & DownTypeID = 3 & GetDown = false], but no change.

I even tried to play with the sound, management options in the control panel as well as the related with the sound, special function keys to see if the problem got away, but it does not solve the problem.

Perhaps the sound card has a problem with its chipset and needs to be replaced?
I have two laptops, one Travellmate and one with Win7 Ultimate eMachines e620 and have no sound problem.

Any help or sugestion that you guys have would be very apreciated :)

    Hello

Have you this problem appears in the past using other Windows such as Win XP or Vista system?

    > Perhaps the sound card has a problem with its chipset and needs to be replaced?

The dysfunction of the sound card/chip would be the worst case, because in this case the motherboard needs to be replaced so I hope that s is not a hardware problem.

    Select this check box.
Go to control panel-> sound control
On the reading tab, right-click on the speakers.
Now new called speaker Properties window should appear.
Here, choose tab called level and click the Balance button.
Now, check if both controls are put right.
