Lab HOL-SDC-1321 impossible to ask for catalog items

Good evening.  On the first module of this HOL, I get the following error message when I point to request an item from the catalog (step 33):

I checked the lab all the time, and this step has worked for me.

It looks like there is a connectivity problem in your lab.  It may be intermittent.  You can try clicking on the Home tab, then on the tab catalog again and make the request.

If you continue to see the same result in your current lab, please put an end to your laboratory, wait for about 15 minutes or more and then re-register.  You will get a new lab environment and I hope not to see this question.  This isn't something in general, so we see taking over the lab is the best approach at this point.

    Hi Daniel,.

    We do not keep the old versions in the HOL given the constraints of storage cloud. The current catalog HOL approximately 30 TB of storage and we have recently taken out of service about 20 TB of old pods in order to manage the development and preparation of new laboratories for the exchange of partner and VMworld 2015. You may be able to find the old pod, or something similar in one of the other clouds internal. I suggest you look in the catalogs of sandbox to see if something might meet your needs if HOL-SDC-1421 does not provide what you need.

    There is a product search option. Unfortunately, we have more manuals before 2014 available here.

  • How can I ask for first items was last updated?

    I first Elements 9 and I want to put in a disc menu and other things that I know how to do it. I want to download the full version of the latest update provided by adobe at: http://www.adobe.com/special/premiereel/downloads/

    which offers more themes and what not. However, on the download instructions, it says provide a path, but I don't know where. Can someone help me?

    I downloaded it before, but without success, I don't know where I downloaded the files and when I started first elements it came with the message that says that an update which can be downloaded which led me on the link above in the first place.

    After pressing on the download all Content1 for Windows, so you would first of all have a pop-up window saying: 'Download Akamai Netsession Interface', you must click on the link "Download Installer". (This is not the actual content, but a download manager to download the content)

    Then know your download location (see nealeh post), go to that location and double-click the Akamai_NetSession_Installer.exe file.

    It will provide you with a window "Please select a download folder. Now you a browse directories at any location (where you want to download it) and select the location and click OK.

    Akamai Download Manager will start downloading your content.

    Once completed, your download will be at the specified location.

    A dialog box will come and say 'PremiereElements_9_Content_ALL.exe' is a file that has been downloaded from the Internet. Are you sure you want to open it?

    Click Yes.

    Then follow the installation steps.

    If the dialog box is not in and of itself, go to the download location and double-click PremiereElements_9_Content_ALL_LS15.exe

    Laboratory guide implies that there should be an Interface of edge available to select from but my lab console shows any of these options

    Can you try to refresh the Web Client browser? This will allow generally the object appears.

    All the world tried this lab and used the "Readme.txt" recommended on the desktop for lab scripts?

    The file that I see on the desktop appears only to have connections for different environments, not commands/scripts.

    For now I manually type the required data.

    I noted, however, that the manual for HOL-SDC-1603 indicates that orders are available in the README file. TXT file.

    It is incorrect and these statements should be removed from employment. Thanks for reporting this.

  • HOL-SDC-1610 Incorrect Credentials for vRealize Operations Manager

    In the laboratory HOL-SDC-1610, during step 55 module, when you are prompted to enter the user credentials in the web client for vRealize Operations Manager, credentials given instructions not to allow access:

    Authentication source: local users

    User name: admin

    Password VMware1

    The credentials must be admin / VMware1!

    Please give that a try. Was he in the lab manual or the README.txt file where you found the password for this?

  • Bug of HOL-SDC-1430

    Hello

    I just wanted to report a problem with HOL-SDC-1430. On Page 69 it SAIS to start the vRO customer. Howerver, I guess that the vRO service is not started on the vRA VM that is used in the example, so I can't connect to the vRO / customer downloaded.

    I guess a simple chkconfig--level 35 vco-Configurator on in the vRA would do the job, but I was unable to connect to vRA on port 22 for verification.

    I have looked into this issue more and discovered that vRealize as orchestrator was not properly authorized.  Good evaluation license that expired was beyond the initial period of 90 and so it would not start automatically.  Although I could get it to start manually, the best solution is to allow vRO correctly using vCenter Server license.  Once done, the server of vRO started very well.

    While I was making changes in the laboratory, I also activated the vRO Configuration service and add a link in Firefox in the folder of bookmarks to the Admin.  In this way, if the vRO server can fail for any reason, you can get pretty easily it goes again in the laboratory.

    I also added a SSH access for root to vra - 01 a .corp .local and vra - id - 01 a .corp .local. It's just in case the identity unit must be restarted or the vRO Configuration service is not available.

    I think that you have been given a laboratory 'cold', which is an environment that wasn't quite ready when you started your laboratory.  I noticed that we had some mistakes on the back-end deploy this lab recently.  I deleted these errors and a few extra copies made so I hope that the next time you try the lab you will get an environment that has completed all the boot process and is ready to go for you.

    BTW, on the desktop, there is a "tattoo" that indicates if the laboratory is ready or not.  When I started my HOL-SDC-1314 just now, I noticed that my office has indicated that he was not quite ready.  This workshop takes about 15 minutes to start from a cold start.

    Please take HOL-SDC-1314 again and I think you will find that this error will disappear.

    You can configure the router to accept the connection of customer VPN without XAUTH (extended authentication), so by this authenticating just VPN client itself, not the user.

    But, depending on the configuration, you will be prompted for user/pass.

    Are you saying the client connects very well and the tunnel is fully established without this prompt?

    On step 42, get a "error FATA [0001] TLS Handshake: remote error: incorrect certificate ' error. Tried to restart the laboratory with a clean environment and spin in the same question. Any help would be appreciated!

    For HOL-SDC-1303 the name of user and password are given as

    • User name: Corp\Administrator
    • Password: VMware1!

    but when I get home I have to receive the message that the credentials are not valid. Can you help me?

    Corp\Administrator is the ControlCenter Windows.

    Please use the root and VMware1! to connect in vCenter.

    This could be a case of the vPOD not 'hot' or fully loaded, is there a chance you can try to run the lab, once the console is in place, may have to wait a few minutes (coffee break) and try again...

  • iPhone keeps asking for password hotmail (iOS 10)

    I had this problem since upgrading to iOS iOS 10 9. I have 3 accounts hotmail on the iphone, once I get the password it will work properly for a period of time (usually one day) and then ask for passwords with a message indicating an error has occurred and iOS needs approval from hotmail again.

    I noticed that this often happens when I wake up in the morning and I haven't used the iPhone for a few hours. This problem never arose on iOS 9. I've recently updated the iPhone 6 7 and the problem persists.

    Is this a bug of iOS 10? I also tried to delete all my accounts and adding them again without success. My accounts do not use a two-step verification.

    I am currently using iOS on iPhone 10.0.2 7

    Hotmail is notoriously buggy.  For years.  Have you tried their forum for iOS 10 compatibility issues?  There may be suggestions from there.
