  You must do so via the Desktop Manager. I'll give you the steps using the Desktop Manager v4.5:

  1. connect your BlackBerry to the computer via the USB cable and open the Desktop Manager.

  2. click on backup and restore

  3. click on the advanced under the section titled Advanced button

  4. on the next screen, on the right, select address book, then click the button clear down.

  It will delete the address book and leave it empty.

  I am running Windows 7, and today I updated to version 40.0.2 of Firefox and then encountered the following problem.

  You can try to disable hardware acceleration in Firefox.

  • Tools > Options > advanced > General > Browsing: "use hardware acceleration when available.

  You will need to close and restart Firefox after enabling/disabling this setting.

  You can try the following:

  Backup your data to the device as shown here. (We would not need the backup, but it is recommended any time you make a change to the data on the device).

  Delete folder Intellisync on your PC as shown here. (This will reset your configuration of PIM in the Desktop Manager).

  Clear the address book on the BlackBerry as described here only the task 2. (This will remove all contacts from the device in order to ensure that your data in Outlook are first updated.)

  Go back to the Desktop Manager and reconfigure your synchronization as shown here , then test the synchronization once more.

  I need to create a demo of an application of "Technical Support".
  
  I have a text entry box, a dynamic text box and "submit" button.
  
  When a user types in the text entry box, then press the submit button that their "issue" appears in the dynamic text box.
  
  It all works as should be outside of a thing. I need to be able to have the user enter several questions. Now if they first enter press and "chicken fried" submit, then enters the 'pizza' and presses to resubmit the text displayed in the dynamic text box should show two lines:

  Pizza
  
  but instead, whenever a user presses on submit text is replaced (i.e. 'fried chicken' is replaced by 'pizza' on the same line).

  I do not know; Maybe I'm just crazy, but I swear, until I downloaded FF4, I used to be able to (1) type in a full URL, or (2) a URL or a partial keyword and choose what I wanted in a drop-down of recent URL, and then press ENTER to be redirected to the page I was looking for - all in the address bar without having to use my mouse click on the small arrow buckled at the right end of the address bar (next to the star of "favorite").

  You can create and add components to the page when running, but it is not part of the xml source jspx, it will appear on the page, and you can create binding and validator for this according to your requirement

  I have a table with a variety of components inputText several rows, most of them with the attribute @row the value 2.
  
  However, one of these fields has sometimes wordy content. Is it possible to configure the component InputText AutoSize himself (and line) at a height that displays the entire contents without scroll bars? In other words, is there a way to set the text box/column/table, so that the height of the text in each line box auto-tailles to display all content.
  
  I am aware of a brute force method to set line attribute of the 10 inputText; However, since most of the time the text can be inserted into the 2 or 3 rows, assigning 10 wastes a lot of real estate.

  Put a transient attribute in your view object and use that one instead of the actual column.

  In the accessor get for the transient, did return null if the value of the real column is - 1

  In the setter, just delegate to the true Set accessor.

  I created a form with a field Date with and Date to .
  
  I use the format of Date Picker (a new one, not the classic) and set the calendar to display on both (developed and click on icon).
  
  I would limit the field so that the user cannot enter any text - they can only use the Date picker/calendar to select a date.
  That would take them the clumsy edits - so I can restrict users so that they cannot enter an incorrect format in the first place.

  You can also implement this way.

  Change your datepicker element.
  Under the item
  In the HTML Form element attributes set readonly = "readonly"

  This your object picker cannot change dates, so you can't write anything on this field, you can enter the date using the date picker.

  I do a game in which the user can type in their name, and later in the game, it will say something like:

  "Oh, Kaitlyn, how was your day? But what I really know how to do is make sure the name will be, but NOT all in a sentence in fact. The problem with this is the spacing and punctuation. I tried following a tutorial that gave me this to put in the ActionScript for the output area:

  I think it's because it's for as3 that it doesn't, but I'm kinda new to Flash and it does not seem too difficult. Please give very descriptive instructions.

  What you show will work in AS2 and AS3.  Do you have assigned an instance name textfield (it indicates 'output_txt' in your example)?  Instance names are assigned by selecting the object on the stage and entering the name in the properties panel.

  You must store the name that the user enters in a variable.  This can be done in two different ways.  Do you have something in place for that?

  Try to put a picture control on the top of the chart legend and when the user tries to click on the name of plot, it avoids text entry

  You may also toggle the visible property of the image control to allow text in admin mode

• Slide auto is using of multiple text entry boxes once the user enters two of the six answers

  I have several areas set up on a slide text entry.  The user must enter the answer in each text box.  And even though I have properties of all TEB "break from legends of success or failure", auto slide advance once the user enters only two of the six responses.  I thought that perhaps insert a click box and setting ' to pause until the user clicks on "would resolve the issue... but it is not.  Here's a screenshot of what my slide looks like and a screenshot of the properties that I set myself for each TEB.  Can someone help me please?  I need all six TEB to complete before moving to the next slide.

  

  

  

  The most important screenshot is missing: chronology. Where are the pausings for the TEB?

  You can start by changing the Actions on the success and the last attempt: they are both set to Continue, which means the playhead will be published immediately after a good response and after exhausting attempts in case of wrong answers. Set them to any Action.

  No Submit button? Only shortcut key entry for each TEB?

• Captivate: Keep the cursor in the text entry box

  I would limit the cursor on the input text in a slide area, regardless of where the user can click.

  I am doing a project of training for an application interface text, and I simulate the application entry field by placing a unique text on the slide entry box.  Although the cursor starts in this field when the slide is displayed, if the user can use the mouse to click anywhere but the text entry box, the cursor disappears and the user can enter data until he or she clicks on the text with the mouse input box.  This problem occurs in both the preview and the. Output of the EXE.

  I tried to activate and deactivate the 'click' option under select key... in the parameters text box properties.  I also tried setting the action on the lost update to allow for the text control, or make her display a legend that says "click in the area of selection."  Apparently, remove the cursor of the box isn't enough to trigger the event "has lost the Focus.

  While this isn't a complete show-stopper, it is an irritation that I'd rather not have my users deal with.

  I am using Captivate 4 v4.0.1 build 1658.

  I was able to do the following.

  Insert a box click programmed object to go to the last slide when you click it.

  Insert a text entry box and configure it so that it does not keep the text.

  Insert a blank slide just before the slide with the TEB, then once it is longs.1 seconds. You should also give the same origin as the slide with the TEB. Otherwise, you will see a 'flash', as the previous slide is visited.

  The way this works is that the user clicks anywhere but the BER and transport action click on box to the previous slide. But this slide is really super short. .1 second if it is visited and the read head again enters the slide with the TEB.

  One thing to be aware of, is that if you plan to view the Captivate 'as a whole', which means that you have no idea what browser is used to view it, you must consider the insertion of a button object on the first slide that requires the user to click on it. This way is is moved to the Flash sitting inside the browser object.
