Lack of 20 GB, have not installed anything. That's happened?
I bought the ideapad s110. I love him, but he said 320. I have only 298 GB. It's a lot of space... not like I can't do with 298 GB but it's still annoying. Where WOULD the space?
I bought it without an operating system, so it should be clean. But accordig to gparted, I did only 298 GB free (())
what you see, is the difference in how the capacity of the disk is announced and how the computer calculates it. If you look at most of the packages in the retail car, there will be a text indicating: 1 GB = 1 000 000 000 bytes. Yes 320,000,000,000 bytes in your case.
contrast that to the way your pc does accounting where a 1 GB is 1024 x 1024 x 1024 bytes, or 1 073 741 824 bytes. Therefore, 320,000,000,000 divided by 1.073.741.824 is 298,02 Go reported by the pc.

I'm just trying to remove every night of my computer. I deleted firefox 10 already. I'm going down to firefox 4, but before I do, I want every night of my computer and it is not listed in the Installer package synaptic or any other. There's a reason I want the old version of firefox, but I won't get into that right now. It is a totally different matter. But I'm pretty new to linux, so please try to give directions or answers in a way that I will be able to understand if possible. Thank you for your time.

Is this a version that you have installed yourself from the Mozilla server or is this a version from the repositories of Ubuntu?
In the latter case, you will need to use the installation and remove the item from your Linux distribution software.
If you have installed Firefox yourself, then you can simply delete the Firefox installation directory.
You can find the latest version of Firefox in all languages and for all systems operating here:

I get the above codes when I try to update. I also can't install a program such as itunes after that which has been downloaded to my computer. This applies to everything from the internet being downloaded. I did some research and tried to fix hours and hours away without success. Please someone HELP with a real answer! I need to get my computer works normally again so that I can follow my school work! I did a fresh install of windows 7 using the partition on the hard drive recently emergency, and the problem is still there. Before that I tried recovery many times scandisk which takes much too long for no result, and update my antivirus definitions, which I am not able to download at all, then of course they usually download either.

I have acidently deleted my eviroment. now I can not install anything or change my settings in my control panel. Msconfig does not work. Cannot change network settings. This is the messege I get: the system cannot find the environment that was entered

Are what environment you referring? What did you delete?
Let us know if you can start the computer in safe mode and works as expected.
Access the menu advanced startup options by turning on your computer and pressing the F8 key before Windows starts. Boot advanced options, select the menu safe mode.

Satellte C870 (PSC8EE) - display driver for Win8 does not install anything

I have a Satellite C870 bought in October last year.
I have level of Windows 7 to Windows 8 a first time just before Christmas and has worked well.
(A few small issues suchas as necessary before installing the display driver, but all Bios Update worked fine)A few days ago I had a system crash and the HARD drive died.
Send the Sateite to replace HARD drive and came with Windows 7Has started the last installation of evening back to 8 64 window.
But the display of the Toshiba site driver does not install anything? Catalyst still not...
Just get the request to confirm if I want to install the product and then nothing...Tried the two drivers offered from the 19/02 and 26/02, but with the same result...
Tried to install the driver directly from AMD announcement was a message my card was not supported
I tried Windows 7 driver from Toshiba site for my machine and got the same message...Graphics card is an AMD 75610 M
And of course I have admin access and also tried to run the installation in administrator mode files.
And other drivers install normally (Lan Drivers, drivers Wifi, Tempro, mode eco etc.)Thanks for your help

The driver that you downloaded is a zip package.
Unzip everything first.
Then you will see a single .exe file in the unzipped folder.
This exe file is also a package.
Therefore, unzip the .exe file too.
Right click on the exe file and select unpack here
Now, you will have access to the files together. Now choose Setup.exe or Install.exe -
Action menu is empty; "You have not installed the extensions.
Like many others, share my Menu is empty after the upgrade to El Capitan. By running the recommended command here has no effect. In the system preferences panel, the only options on the left are all and share Menu. Share menu 'not allowed' in gray below. Everything indicates "you have not installed the extensions.

Safe mode is much slower to boot and run as normal, with limited graphics performance, and some things work at all, including an audio output and a Wi - Fi connection on some models. The next normal boot can also be a bit slow.

Ultra Explorer is one third of replacement of Windows Explorer which can be downloaded in portable version or as those who must be installed. It is compatible with most operating systems including the recent Windows 7 Microsoft.
You can check in Add or remove programs in the control panel if the Ultra surf explore is installed or not.
If you don't want the Explorer Ultra surf, you can uninstall it in Add or remove programs list in Windows XP.
