  XE currency converter bookmark opens the same thing, but the tab of sharing with the previous site appearing as sidebar. How to cancel this setting, which is now on all consecutive tabs too, currency converter is displayed in all tabs and I don't know how to close it.

  If the article above does not work, you should try a SFC scan, to do a SFC scan:
   
  1. Click Start, in the start search bar type cmd and press ENTER.
  2. click on continue, if you get a user account control prompt.
  3. at the command prompt, type sfc/scannow , and then press ENTER.

• Problem Vista Sidebar Weather Gadget

  Hi all

  I recently had a problem with my weather widget in my sidebar and any other Gadget has a problem.
  It displays normally for all other cities than mine. When I choose my city he displays the same weather 'Fog' and when I drag out of the sidebar, it will blank instead of increase with added information and when I try to put it back in there converted to fog and that he does not change. I tried restoring the system and two types of different changes of regsvr32 to six .dll files with reboots and no luck. I tried everything and was hoping to get help before going to microsoft soon by telephone about this issue.

  Anyone know a service for this compatible with CF? I need to show an amount for the Korean Won and USD on a shape of body and service to http://www.xmethods.net/sd/2001/CurrencyExchangeService.wsdl no longer exists. I searched Google for a while but did not find much.

  According to the WSDL document, if I read correctly, there is a method exposed, called ConversionRate. It takes two arguments, the two strings. The first is the code of the currency to convert FROM, and the second is the currenct code to convert TO. The result is a numerical value of the speed of conversion. Here's an example of how to use it.

• Vista Sidebar weather Gadget stuck

  A month or two ago, the time for 2 cities, I had chosen were stuck and never change.  Does anyone have a simple solution to this problem?  My other gadgets work fine.  Thank you.

  Please use the Forum for answers!

  You can try to remove the weather gadget, close and restart the sidebar and add it again. To remove a gadget, right-click on it and choose Close Gadget. To close the sidebar, right click on the Sidebar icon in the system tray and choose Exit. To re-open the sidebar, go to start, all programs, accessories, and open Windows Sidebar. For re - add the gadget, click on the "+" at the top of the sidebar and click with the right button on the gadget and click Add.

  If this does not help, it updates if you choose Celsius (assuming you are using Fahrenheit)?

  What security software (firewall, anti-virus, etc.) that you use?

• No communication with the modem, lack of driver (Vista)

  I am a novice on computer, and I'm tired of trying to get this Vista computer will. No modem/internet. I tried to run the restore disc, but still no luck. It is an Emachines T5088 with a 56K modem, basic Windows Vista Edition and Pentium 4 processor family. took some advice and checked in the Device Manager (in Control Panel of configuration/system), and then click Properties for the PCI simple communication controller (it is marked with a yellow icon) to view the details. It says "the device is not configured correctly (code 1). There is no driver selected for the item or a set of device information. I tried to launch the special "update" disc that comes with it, just in case a missing driver was there. Nothing. When I click on the "Driver" tab, it says no driver has been loaded. When I click on the 'Détails' tab, then click on "Hardware ID" listed in the first line says: PCI\VEN_14F1 & DEV_2F40 & SUBSYS_200014F1 & REV_00 then PCI\VEN_14F1 & DEV_2F40 & SUBSYS_200014F1 and PCI\VEN_14F1 & DEV_2F40 & CC_078000 and last PCI\VEN_14F1 & DEV_2F40 & CC_0780. I know the VEN code means vendor and the code DEV, device. If the seller is 14F1 and the unit is 2F40. Right? I don't have access to the internet on my computer, so I have to look on the computer to Windows XP from my friend and to find the driver I need for Vista... Download it to a flash drive (if I can) then download it on my Vista computer. Problem is, I can't find the driver I need anywhere on the internet. Is it just a bunch of junk, I bought? Or can someone help me? ! I am frustrated beyond.

  I don't know if you can change where the data comes from, but I expect the data provided must be updated as things change. If you click on the 'size' button under the X button, it adds a link "Data providers", which may have what you are looking for.

• Leaks of memory considered in components of Vista?

  I recently started using the converter gadget currency the seller provided on my W700, a few days later, I noticed that half a gig of RAM went walkabouts, turned out to be sidebar.exe.

  This problem occurs due to lack of scripting Runtime check. Save the file vbscript.dll from an admin command prompt solves the problem. Follow these steps:

   

  Method 1:

  (a) open an Admin command prompt window. To do this, click Start, click programs, accessories principally made, right-click Guest, and then click Run as administrator.

  (b) type the following command and press ENTER:

  c) regsvr32.exe vbscript.dll

  You should see the following message after running the command:

  DllRegisterServer in vbscript.dll successful.
