Lack of the developer toolbar

I see no longer the developer toolbar in my apex application. I login as an admin user and used to be able to see it. Is it possible to turn it on?

Also, on a related note, what format URL should I use to go directly to a page edit mode?, if it's even possible? I use the embedded pl/sql gateway, so my URLS look like http://hostname:8888/apex/f? p = 123:101:1369073988092846.

Please tell us your first name and update your profile of forum with it for us help. Thank you.

If your application requires no authentication, then you would not necessarily have seen the toolbar developer, depending on how you have invoked the application. If she did not sign but you logged on as a user who is not a developer/administrator apex user, then you also would not have seen the toolbar.

The 4550 application is one of the applications 'internal' apex which is part of the product. 4550 login pages, 4000 is the Application Builder, etc.

    Hello

    With for example the query tree:

    select case when connect_by_isleaf = 1 then 0
                when level = 1             then 1
                else                           -1

           null as icon,
           "EMPNO" as value,
           null as tooltip,
           null as link
    from "#OWNER#"."EMP"

    connect by prior "EMPNO" = "MGR"
    order siblings by "ENAME"

    The developer toolbar disappears when there is a value zero in the title. It's very very difficult to detect the problem.

    Hi Paavo,

    Can I ask what you are trying to achieve by one of the labels by assigning null value?

    Null or an empty string are not useful as a tree node labels. Yet we could be as a minor bug that the area of the tree should be more robust in the JavaScript that it generates.

    Detect the problem (disappears from the dev toolbar) is not different from almost all JavaScript errors. Whenever any client-side behavior seems to not work, for example, no dev toolbar or a tree node does not expand, or a menu is not falling down, or something is not show or hide it should etc, the first thing to check is the browser console log. In this case, it shows the error ' SyntaxError: lack the name of the variable.

  • How can I get rid of the developer toolbar for Firefox

    Since a few hours ago this toolbar kept popping up at the bottom of my screen and nummbers randomly. I neither want or need.

    Start Firefox in Safe Mode to check if one of the extensions (Firefox/tools > Modules > Extensions) or if hardware acceleration is the cause of the problem.

    • Put yourself in the DEFAULT theme: Firefox/tools > Modules > appearance
    • Do NOT click on the reset button on the startup window Mode safe

  • Developer toolbar do not disable - custody arise when I hit shift and is not visible in the Extensions list, or the list of Add-ons. How to uninstall

    for some reason, I now have a developer toolbar, even if I have not installed myself. What's even stranger, is that it appears each time I hit shift - thus the lack of capital letters in this post - and it does not appear on my extention - or plugin list, so I have no idea how turn it off. It appears under the Tools tab and I can stop it here, but it appears again whenever I hit shift.

    Hello Kuzuri, firefox has a built-in Developer toolbar which can be high with keyboard shortcut shift + f2. so, that's just a guess, but perhaps the key f2 on your keyboard is suspended...

    in case you can not solve in this way, please enter Subject: config in the bar firefox address (confirm the message information where it appears) & get preference named devtools.toolbar.enabled - double-click on the entry and toggle the value false. Usually, this will disable the developer toolbar after restarting the browser.

  • Absent from the SSO for APEX 4.2 Developer toolbar

    Hey guys,.

    We have improved the environment of the APEX to the latest version (4.2.0.0.27) last week and we have seen that the developer toolbar is available only if we use the Application Express authentication. If we use SSO, it does not work (nothing is displayed on the page or in the source). Can you please help us with this problem? This is quite annoying since we use only SSO for all our applications.

    Thank you very much
    Alex

    Hi Alex,

    DNS checking is fairly trivial. The hostname in the URL changes after SSO authentication if that is the case. Given that g_edit_cookie_session_id is set to NULL, Apex probably can't see the builder (ORA_WWV_USER_xxxxx) session cookie. I would use Firebug or Chrome developer expansion, to traffic network trace (especially guests, paths, and cookies).

    There are also cases where the application causes inadvertently beg /apex/ which translate to f/apex /? p = 4550:1 and start a new session of generator (and thus breaking the old, because the generating session cookie changes). For example, I met who with Apex independent auditor (a bug road favicon.ico worms/apex /) and a notification plugin (demand was hidden somewhere in the CSS, IIRC).

    Kind regards

  • Where is my Developer toolbar?

    Hello
    Given that I exported my application ('run and build the application') I don't see the developer toolbar. It seems that it has disappeared from all pages. I really don't understand what is happening. Someone an idea?

    Hi Jacob

    go to: Home > Application Builder > request # > shared components > Application > definition

    Application ' # ' represents the number of the application

    Under availability change 'STATUS' to 'Available with Edit links' because there are currently on 'available. '

  • How to return to the old Web Developer Toolbar?

    I was automatically upgraded to the new Web Developer toolbar, but it has TWO flaws. One is a big problem!
    (1) the search box to change the CSS and the "Close" button is on the right. For as long as I used it, it was on the left. So now, we must all go how we use them.
    (2) (big prob) the function of hierarchical table cells expose them, but unlike the old tool (same year), it also puts to * td * and if it breaks the layout of the site while you try just to see the 'lines' hence are cells.

    Thus, for example: a menu where just the links in shape - they go in all directions, because the ' td who show up, forcing.

    How to return to the old web developer who was simple and better tool?

    UPDATE: I also Can not stop he said "div div div '... When I saw the block-level elements.

    There must be a way to turn off?

    On the addons site, if you scroll down and expand the list of Versions, you can find the page with the old versions. Don't know exactly how to prevent it from re-updated, however.

  • How to make the tools of the web developer toolbar appear in the menu bar of firefox

    View > toolbars > Bar Menu under

    Under Tools, I get:

    Web Developer (the web developer toolbar flyout menu item - I use it all the time)
    Web Developer (the element of standard context menu of firefox - including firebug if installed)

    However. View > toolbars > Menu OFF bar

    The web developer toolbar flyout menu item is no longer the orange "Firefox" to the menu drop down. I don't want the visible whole tool bar horizontally along the top, I just want to use the orange "Firefox" menu but with the old fashioned Menu Bar OFF.

    I don't know why this is happening, but to have access to the tools of the web developer toolbar, I must now, press Alt + T to bring up the Tools menu to access.

    The toolbar of the web developer must not be nested under:

    Orange drop Firefox button > (drop-down) Web Developer > Firebug (flyout) 1, the Web Developer toolbar (flyout) 2.

    I hope this makes sense.

    Thank you

    Sam.

  • Determined removal of the development of an ToolbarButtonField (field of toolbar button)

    I have a field of button on toolbar, to which I add a stopwatch. I would have added the timer to a Spcaer toolbar, but they do not accept strings. Not the button was the only choice I've seen.

    My problem now is that I don't want the button to show that focus blue, or any point, when it is selected.

    I tried setEnabled (false), but I don't like not just outside look of the development. And when I override the touchEvent as method below.

    public boolean touchEvent(TouchEvent message)
            {
                TouchGesture movement;
                int occured=message.getEvent();

                movement=message.getGesture();
                if(occured==TouchEvent.CLICK)
                {
                    this.focusRemove();
                    this.focusAdd(true);
                    return false;
                }
                else
                {
                    return true;
                }
            }

    This works. But it then prevents other buttons on update when you click it.

    I also tried this:

    public void drawFocus(Graphics g, boolean on)
    {

    }

    And still nothing. I thought that the substituent these methods would give me a solution.

    Can anyone suggest something?

    With a bit of experimentation I was able to do the work. Here's the code for anyone who wishes to do the same.

    public boolean touchEvent(TouchEvent message)
            {
                TouchGesture movement;
                int occured=message.getEvent();

                movement=message.getGesture();
                if(occured==TouchEvent.CLICK)
                {
                    this.focusRemove();
                    this.focusAdd(true);
                    return true;
                }
                else
                {
                    return false;
                }

    I did the instructions return... pure trial and error... I had no perception of it working poor...
