• Lack of tools for Fast-Blur, Gaussian blur effect...

  Hey there,

  I use first Pro CC and I was about to hide an object in my video with the effect of blur-Fast (Schneller Weichzeichner in German and can be seen in the attached picture).

  But when I apply this effect to my video it shows me any tool with which I could apply. It's the same with any blur effect, such as the Gaussian blur.

  These tools should be just above the adjuster from 0 to 127. Any idea?

  If you want to use the mask tool you need to update to CC2014 (8.2). Looks like you're atill on CC7.

• Gaussian blur effect causing of the black frames when rendering.

  I'm only using an effect in my video, it is the Gaussian blur, and in the Viewer, it shows the effect, but it shows black frames randomly within the Builder Preview, I thought it was just a random previewer problem.

  I then made the video but when the blur effect is applied is to show black executives at random in the video.

  Talked to customer support and found out it was an effect of Gaussian blur twice on the same chassis as the cause for trouble some sigh *.

  But thanks for the info on the media cache, I did know about this.

• Problem with Gaussian blur filter

  For some reason any when I try to use the Gaussian blur filter the cursor changes to this (a sort of box empty):

  

  And there is no filter window to control the amount of blur. The only thing I can do is press "Enter" to accept the default Gaussian blur. Anyone know how to fix this? How can I do to return the missing window?

  What version of Photoshop are you using?

  Access the tool of filter > blur > Gaussian blur.

  Try increasing your screen resolution and if you use two monitors, try to go from Photoshop to the other monitor.

• Problems with the blur effect on text in 3D

  I don't know if is ' t a bug or I have something running, but when I do a text layer, blur works fine, but when I turn on the 3D and even 3D per character, the blur stops working.

  Still, I don't know if this is a bug, so I'm just something wrong, but I make it work once, but after 8 hours of work on a project, had everything perfect, ready for rendering, Ae crashed, and when I opened the project, while blurring had been removed, with no way to restore the it.   Try to set your composition to a final rendering of quality Panel.  Your model is sent to the quick project. If that does not resolve the problem, let us know. It would also be useful to know the version of your OS.

• Problem with mask effect Gaussian blur

  Greetings! I've seen discussions where people had various problems with the following mask in Premiere Pro CC, but I had not seen this issue discussed, so I hope it's just a user error.

  I have a video where I need to blur the faces of several people in it.

  1. I applied Gaussian blur effect to the clip and used the tool free draw draw around A person's head.
  2. I have enabled the button animation next to the mask path label and then played the clip for some time.
  3. Then when his head would move out of the effect mask that I created, I would pause, add a keyframe and click and drag in the middle of the blue mask, that I had done in the program monitor, dragging on his head.

  Everything was fine. I did this several times.

  Then finally I suspended and made a keyframe, and suddenly the blue lines for the mask disappeared! You could still see the effect, but I could capture the effect is more and adjust it.

  Anyone has an idea why the blue lines for the mask suddenly stop appearing in the program monitor? This has happened several times, and I can't understand what the problem is. Thank you!

  Furthermore, I had already tried the mask tracking tool and he was not coherent enough, that's why I'm doing it manually.

  For simplicity Let's say I have a circle with a 20px Gaussian blur effect. If I have the scale to represent 10% of its original size, with scale Stroke and effects"checked, she still a 20px blur. How to evolve the circle without developing its appearance if you please. I would like to keep the effect, but it eventually a blur of 2px.

  what I have, I understand the Gaussian Blur/Blur in photoshop effects (in illustrator) will Pixelize the gradation from the edge, but the effect Illustrator 'feather, will keep this vector, is this correct?

  sample here they both look the same to me, and I noticed that the feather effect was Gaussian blur to the edge still to produce its result.

  from what I see I should be able to make one of these more bigger than a billboard and they would all be two smooth yet degraded being? or Blur Gaussian would cause pixelation unless I got the vector object correctly dimensioned in the document in the first place to fit the display panel.

  what I'm trying to ask is how they work,

  my view is it HAVE "feathers" will allow resizing of the form of the vector object to any size and not be pixelated in print.

  where under the PS Gaussian blur effect, you must make sure that your object is correctly dimensioned on the correct paper size to make sure it prints smoothly.

  Feather starts at the edge of the object and goes inland.

  GBlur starts at the edge of the object and goes towards the inside and the outside.

  Pen will not increase the size (preview) of the original object.

  G - Blur will increase the size of the object (preview) of 50% of the value of the GBlur.

• What does "unable to load the filter AE, LBDC Gaussian blur" means?

  I opened an old video composed of a number of nested 1-7 years on CS5 videos. Everytime I open it I get a warning that it cannot load a filter ' AE, LBDC Gaussian blur. A few seeds of clips having Gaussian blur in them (even if it's hard to say because the blur is very low in these clips), other older do not have. I added the 'new' Gaussian blur to the clip that seemed to miss it, but the remains of warning when opening the file. What does that mean? Also, is there a quick way to repair old files with Gaussian blur?

  This is one of the reasons why it is generally suggested to complete your projects in the version that you started with and ongoing projects not upgrade to a new version. Now, you need to find the manually each instance of the blur effect and replace it with a new blur effect. It's your choice.

• Do not adjust Gaussian blurs.

  My colleague just told me that he doesn't think that the Gaussian blur effects are scaled. I asked him if he had verified preference and it does. I ran a test myself, a simple box with a Gaussian blur effect added, and then put the box 50% wide. The effect did not apply.

  This is because the Photoshop type effects are rasterized and not vectorized.

  I'm trying to blur a video clip using the Gaussian blur effect and keyframes.  I want to so I placed four keyframes on each side of the section blurred the blur that part of the clip.  KF2, KF1 = 0 = 50, KF3 = 50 and KF4 = 0.  For some reason any my whole clip shows that blurred in the program monitor so that it is all of the time.  Looks like I'm doing something wrong...

• Gaussian blur causes clip to move

  All of a sudden, some clips - applying a Gaussian blur effect moves it displaces just the clip at the top left of about 1/4... Looks like that it affects some clips, which are not the same size as the projcet, but I'm not sure.

  The thing is that it worked before, so I don't know what happened...

  Do not add a keyframe for the opacity no need to tweek, see if this will help.

• The most effective method to add Gaussian blur to the background of the Interview with two people

  I have MXF clips of an interview with two people with a décor of forest behind the two subjects. I want to add a Gaussian blur on the bottom between the two people who are sitting and separated by about 6 inches. I'd be able to do this now in 2014 PR, except track masks do not work as there seems to be a bug. I've never used AE and Mocha looks like a tracking method possible. The manual speaks using a compressed JPG of sequence, then use your original film when you apply the data. This sounds like the way to go, but I do not know how to apply the data originally from the film. I know how to apply a blur and a simple mask followed in AE, but it does not follow the outline of the person and blurs the second person. If followed PR mask worked, I duplicate the layer and add a mask of garbage that would cut off the other person in each of the two layers.

  I intend to learn AE, but has a deadline this week to get this infomercial delivered to the customer. Thus, detailed instructions would be greatly appreciated.

• Problem with the Gaussian blur?

  Hey forum, every time I simply change the color of the text in Illustrator CS5, the loading window bar appears and says he's working on the application of a Gaussian blur to the text, but nothing happens after. Changes the color of the text, but that's all. No blurring is Gaussian, nothing. A major nuisance trying to change only the color of the text, especially when you're as indecisive as me...   I feel your pain and can only share additional workaround solutions

  • Build effects in photoshop when possible (actually better shadow trap using a method of 2 files with the image of shadow down the value multiply and a 2nd non - move picture shadow on the upper to normal.) Glimpses of Photoshop appear more specific about shines/blur/shadow when you perform detailed, work even if your Illustrator Doc pixelation effects are defined by UPS).
  • Effects > Document pixelation effect parameters > temporarily until the value 72 dpi file release.
  • Temporarily hide the layers with intense effects if you don't work on them
  • Use the traced (control Y) when you have a quick change type you mentioned

• No help no wiggle effect when rendering with Media Encoder

  I wanted to make my project (by 'add an AE project') media CS4 encoder. After the rendering process

  My effects wiggle that I asked my images did not regard and seemed not at all. When I

  make right with AE4 work.

  I need to change settings or choose a special format in media encoder?

  Unfortunately, this is a bug in Adobe Media Encoder - it does not properly handle expressions, if they are created in the default language. If your AE works in English but in German, SOUL SOUL runs the instance of AE context it uses to manage the AE projects also in German and your break expressions, because they are language-specific. Nothing, that you can change. To work around the problem, consider using the wizard to Convert the Expressions into keyframes keyframe before rendering with SOUL. For some layers with simple stuff that should be acceptable, but of course it will be a nightmare with many expressions.
