  We have an existing installation of view 3.1 under VI3.5, and we plan to upgrade to vSphere 4.1 or vSphere 5 (we must deploy servers of W2008R2).

  The question is, is seen 3.1 supported under vSphere 4.1 or 5? I can't find any info of VMware docs.

  We can also upgrade view (although there is no way to view upgrade 3.1) but it would be another project and we do ot as simple as possible.

  See 3.1 is no longer supported. It has reached its end of general 03-07 and end of service support to 03-09.

  Looking at the page plug of your PC motherboard, I see he has the Intel 945 chipset.

  The maximum amount of memory, the Intel 945 chipset can answer is 4 GB of memory clocked at 667 Mhz.

  By releasing VSM v4.5 soon, which will support vSphere v6.0.  Until then no, the current version v4.0, doesn't support vSphere v6.0.

  We ordered 4 R730 servers "nine" with 12Gbps SAS and a SAN MD3420 cards. ESXi hosts are preinstalled with ESXi version 6.

  Once we have installed 40 VMs on that, we now see that after a reboot, the HBA does not detect the LUNS. Only after the adapter cables HBA and their reversal, it detects the. Also in the selection of the HBA path I see all the options like "round robin" etc.

  When I check the site of VMware, it looks all DELL powervault MD32xx/MD34xx without DOING to support ESXI 6.0, with the exception of the MD3420! I checked it before and are beginning to doubt myself / or if the compatibility on the Web site has changed.

  Is there a driver or updated to be less expected the first weeks, or should I start without downgrading all my VMs and esxi hosts to version 5.5? It's really a shortcoming that I think that the package came with preinstalled 6.0.

  I found the solution by installing another driver in the list of lsi, and then disable the native driver.

  The appropriate driver is not in the image of DELL ESXi 6.0 A00.

  In short, all this on each host:

• It has been awhile, N7k now supports EvPC?

  As far as I know, in an environment of Nexus double 5 k, w/c are configured to the vPC. EvPC is available for FEX in double room, a single connection type for each of the switches to Nexus. Like the image below.

  BUT, but but but, as documentation goes, model Nexus 7 k still do NOT support this kind of functionality that is, we cannot double home a FEX as 2 k nexus one or Nexus two, 7 k in vPC, w/c these switches NX7k are in vPC

  You are right, but the Aru said the right thing. It supports dual domicile that see you in the diagram, but not an improved vpc.

  To be clearer, here is an explanation of the improved VVS - thanks to steve fuller on another post.

  "Improved VPC is a method that allows the connection of active way FEX using vPC between the FEX and switch upstream of Nexus and at the same time to connect a device to the host with a vPC FEX. interfaces"

  OVF is supposed to be independent of the Virtualizing software so I think that there should be no problem for a host ESX 3.5 import an OVF created with vSphere 4 ot 5 — I say this without having tried it myself

  One last question (I think) - what rights should the user on the server "vCenter Server" VCB itself?  -J' I unuderstand what rights it needs in vCenter, but the quesiton is related to logging in the vCenter Server with a user name and password. Does just the possibility to connect in the vCenter Server, or does - she need the administrator rights on the server?

  I recently upgraded to an iPhone 7 (running on iOS 10, obviously), and I noticed that now when I close the iOS app, it seems to disconnect me. I don't know if it is my upgrade to the new iPhone or a recently Skype app update has started this but before that, I was able to stay online and receive notifications even when the app is closed, and when I send the command /showplaces on the desktop app, I normally see two devices : one for the office and one for the iOS device. Send the command of /showplaces even on the desktop app as soon as I close the iOS app now let just the sign-in desk.

  Thoughts on that? I have notifications turned on for Skype and I tried turning on and off of background refresh, but this has not changed behavior of the iOS app. Thank you!

  Looks like that the re - install Skype did the trick. It corresponds to a previous issue of lost notifications after upgrade to iOS 10. I've recently upgraded to iOS 10.0.3 so it might have screwed up Skype. Please consider why upgrades to iOS mess up some configurations of Skype. Thank you.
