Windows 7 ultimate and Windows 7 Enterprise, allows users to change the language support to display text in wizards, menus, help and support, and dialog boxes.

  • Can't change screen brightness in Windows 7 Home Premium 32 bit?

I recently updated my old A305 laptop Toshiba Satellite Windows Vista Home Premium 32 bit for Windows 7 Home Premium 32 bit and it does not allow me to change the brightness of the screen, when I use the sliders, then click on save changes, nothing happens, tried to restart anything, tried the monitor generic PnP Manager peripherals/monitors/uninstall and nothing happens , can someone please help me my screen is literally blinding my eyes!

    Hello

Thanks for posting your query in Microsoft Community.

We would be happy to help you with the problem you are facing today. I understand the difficulty.

Here are the instructions for setting the display brightness. Basically you can adjust the gamma in Windows or adjust the brightness on the screen itself:

    Within the BONE:

    1. press Ctrl + ESC, then type "control". This will put you in the control panel.

    2. double-click on the display icon.

    3. Select "Calibrate color" icon located on the left side of the screen next to a blue and yellow shield icon.

This wizard provides a walk through to adjust the settings of your screen for the color and the brightness of your monitor setting.

The Wizard "calibrate color" is good to cross, but the area you want to adjust brightness would be the page titled 'adjust gamma. You can adjust the settings until the screen has the brightness that you prefer.

    In this State...

Go buy a COMMERCIAL of the Spanish version of Windows 7 Home Premium version and do a CLEAN INSTALLATION.
Note: you will lose all files and install programs when you clean it. Thus, you should save that you want to keep before hand.

  • New installation of Windows 7 Home Premium 64 bit on Sony VAIO key OEM

    Hi all

I recently bought a Sony VAIO VPCEB27FA, who is essentially a Middle East of the EB series model. The PC is literally loaded with all sorts of versions possible assessment and bloatware and it absolutely killed any computing experience. Windows 7 starts at more than 3 minutes. Yes, I timed it actually to see how long it takes for Windows load up before you can start actually using my computer. My old gateway desktop which is in reality a P4 and has Windows 7 installed on it opens in less than 45 seconds and is good to go. So I definitely do a clean install on my laptop to clean up all the UNWANTED horrible. But can I use the Windows 7 key on the back of my laptop after a clean install? I go to download the English version of Windows 7 Home Premium 64 bit of Digital River. Currently, my laptop has the same version that is the English version of Windows 7 Home Premium 64 - bit as mentioned on this page from Sony

    http://www.Sony-Asia.com/product/vpceb27fa

    Thank you

PS: - You can see for yourself on the page of Sony in the specifications of the software INCLUDED, how trialware and bloatware been installed by Sony on this machine. I hate Sony for this and I will never buy a VAIO again in my life.

There is no need to separately download OEM or retail of Windows 7 RTM installation DVD ISO, as the release of Windows 7 installation can be easily converted using simply the correct product key (for example OEM_SLP product key can convert an installation of Windows 7 at retail in OEM version), as issued by the OEM product keys has a different basis of the retail product key. For ISO of DVD images, the only difference between a Windows 7 RTM retail ISO and ISO of OEM of Windows 7 RTM is in position of EI.cfg file [channel], which specifies the sales channel to retail or OEM.

  • Change Windows 7 Home premium of the French to English (display language not only)

I live in France, bought a PC with windows 7 Home premium 64 in FRENCH.

I would like to switch to English, but not just as a display language - some programs buy you downloads (games, for example) check your language version of windows and settle in that language (for example Neverwinter nights 2 of Atari).

Upgrade to the full edition and using language packs really do my windows version, an English version or just display the text in English?

or do I have to buy windows 7 again, but in English, uninstall the existing windows and re install the nine?

    Thank you

    Ben

  • How to change the language from English to Arabic Windows?

Not with Windows Vista Home Premium, you would need to upgrade to Vista Ultimate Edition and then change the language.

  • I can't get windows 7 home premium to use Chinese (traditional) text entry (English language install)

I have Windows 7 Home Premium installed
I just need to be able to input traditional Chinese in boxes of text/Explorer/words (i.e. don't need to change the menus etc as I understand is not supported as a bonus)

    I followed the instructions:
    http://Windows.Microsoft.com/en-us/Windows7/add-or-change-an-input-language

The strange thing is: on the my PC in the language of keyboards and tab of the regions and the language of dialogue (visible in 31 seconds in the video), I don't see the install/uninstall languages button. It is not mandatory according to the instructions, but I find it still embarrassing that he's not here.

But following the instructions, I added a simplified Chinese keyboard input, and I have the FR / CH toggle button on the taskbar

However, when I select CH (Chinese) and type in Word, I always get English. When I select a Chinese font (e.g., Microsoft JhengHei), I always get English. In Word, when I change the input language to CH Windows on the taskbar, Word still says also language is English

I have looked for a solution, but fails. If anyone knows how to solve this problem, please let me know. Thank you.

    Hello

I suggest you follow these steps:

Open word, tools and then click on set language, and then select traditional Chinese and click ok.

If the previous step fails and then press ctrl and A at the same time. Then repeat the process.

To install a different language - MUI (MUI) - you must have Windows 7 Ultimate. If you do not have Ultimate you can do an Express upgrade to ultimate.

Anytime Upgrade to Windows 7 Ultimate
Type of upgrade Express in the box files and research programs in the start menu and click the Windows Anytime Upgrade.  From there, you can buy an Express Windows 7 Ultimate upgrade. Then you can enter your Express Upgrade product key and perform a simple upgrade to Windows 7 Ultimate, this is why you can install a different language. All programs and files will remain on the computer.

If you are in Australia, Belgium, Canada, France, Germany, Italy, Japan, Netherlands, Spain, Sweden, Switzerland, the United Kingdom and the United States, you can use anytime upgrade. If this isn't the case, you will need to buy Windows 7 Ultimate, or buy Windows 7 in the language you need.

  • Language on Windows 7 Home Premium

Hello. While living in Spain, I had my two PC set to update from Windows XP Pro. for Windows 7 Home Premium. They have both worked very well. I now moved back to the United Kingdom. All the furniture etc inc PC have been put in storage. No 14 months later I got the PC to play, but found one was not open Windows. After you have found the disc in Windows 7 box. I started to install with everything provided Spanish disc was OK until I found I couldn't change the installation in English. Once more Microsoft poking upward the bettor as having paid money very good to have a so-called Microsoft Repairer or whatever. I then checked with Microsoft.  You all probably know the answer. I have to buy an another Windows 7 Home Premium in English.  Any suggestions on their the that to go back to XP.

Option 1: You can download Windows 7 Home Premium English or borrow an English Home Premium from Windows 7 disk and use your product key to install and activate it. If you can not get a CD-ROM of Windows 7 Home Premium, you could borrow another edition of Windows 7 in English as professional retail, complete edition, Home Basic edition or full upgrade or OEM System Builder disk and create a disc of a whole that will allow you to install Home Premium English.
