Laptop HP 2000 2b09wm: computer boot - UEFI seems to have problems
Hello
I tried updating the BIOS using the official link to HP support, but I guess there is a problem during the update. The thing is that my computer will not start now. He remains in the screen that says "boot device not found - please install an operating system on your hard drive... »
I ran the tests available in this same screen after pressing F2 (the System Diagnostics), but everything is OK.
I can't access the BIOS because it asks for a password Administraotr. After that 3 attempts, the system locks with the code:
99841805
I was able to start the computer by using a USB key with Ubuntu. However, I tried to do the same thing with a USB with Windows 8.1 and then Windows 10 and it won't even see the USB as a booteable device.
I tried to install it in an another 'HP UEFI firmware Support' USB on another computer Windows 10, but the installation fails when creating the partition HP TOOLS in the USB device, saying that there is a problem with Windows Installer in this computer.
I'm stuck.
Any ideas?
Thank you
The code made me. Reset the BIOS to its default didn't work, but I could see the root cause of the problem: it seems that during the upgrade of the BIOS, resulting legacy startup option disabled and who broke all.
I returned to activate and voila!
Thank you

original title: incorrect Homegroup password
So, my cousins both got two netbooks for Christmas so I took it upon myself to put in place. However, I seem to have problems with getting Homegroup to work.
All computers:
Have enabled IPv6
Use Microsoft Security Essentials with the last update
Are connected to the same router (Linksys WRT54GX2)
Have no other third-party firewalls or AV installed and have been neatly eliminated via their respective tools when they had their
Can be seen in the network and can access any other files via 'network '.
Have the correct date and time and are all in sync with time.nist.gov.
Have the same network sharing settings (network discovery on, files and printers sharing folders public, sharing, streaming, wide, 128-bit encryption, sharing password protected, to allow windows to manage the homegroup connections)
Network is set at home, not in publicThe computer that has implemented the homegroup is connected via ethernet to the router while other computers use to access the router 802.11 g I tried to delete and redo the residential group as well.
Despite all this, it is said that the homegroup password is incorrect for both netbooks (where it says it has encountered an error). I realize that it is case sensitive and I entered the password correctly. I also ran the resolution of the problems of the homegroup on all 3 machines and still no luck. I also tried to change the password and restarting of machines.
Any suggestions? I was _really_ hoping it will work right out of the box. Maybe it's something with the router? I don't really know. Any help is appreciated. Merry Christmas! : D

It seems that ROXIO CD and DVD copy program is part of the Vista program that came with the computer. After that the computer crashed it disappeared. It can be recovered?
Roxio CD and DVD is NOT a part of Vista, but it may have come with other software on your PC from the manufacturer. When you crashed, how are you on the recovery? Did you do a clean reinstall? Did you use a recovery disk provided by the manufacturer or a recovery Partition created by the manufacturer, or have you used a Vista disk?
If you used disks of recovery or a recovery of the manufacturer Partition, then you need to discuss with them because they produce these discs - not Microsoft (and they may be able to solve the problem or refer you to a site where you can download the program or email the file to you or something - or send you the replacement of the recovery with the software on this disc so always available - possibly for one) small fee). If you used a Microsoft disc, then this program is not on the disc and why he is not installed more.
I hope this helps.
Good luck!

Yesterday, my computer became infected with a virus that I could identify as VZ. EXE. I was able to get online for a few minutes and found a description on a site Web that corresponded to what exactly was going on: when started it will imitate a system scan and once finished, he says that your computer is infected by Trojan, malware or adware and you can buy the full version of their program to remove the infections. It also makes it very difficult to get or stay on the line. The virus scan I have not picked up any problems. This morning when I turned on my computer, none of the problems I encountered yesterday were there. I was about to call McAfee and ask questions about the elimination of the virus but has resisted. I did a search on my computer and the only thing I found was
- VZ. EXE - 2AD5E561.pf
- found in the c:\windows\prefetch folder
- size 27KO
- Last updated 22/11/10 21:35
- Created 11/22/10 12:46
- Status-line
- Of the attributes
What does that mean? The virus is gone or still there? Should I delete this file in the folder Prefetch? Thanks for any help or advice you can provide.
If you use McAfee, then the upgrade and full-body scan in safe mode (restart your PC and press F8 key several times and chose safe mode) and scan.
If it has not been detected you may contact McAfee support:

Angelica 2) M3970AM card mother support for ssd seems to have problems with RAID VS achi
It appears in the bios my hitachi hard drice is set to Raid. When you add an ssd as another hard disk, the bios recognizes it but windows 8.1 does not work. Changing hard drive in AHCI or ide causes the pc does not start. How can I get win 8.1 to recognize the ssd?
I was able to find a solution. I'll share.
Boot in the bios, change sata raid mode to ACHI. Save and exit.
Immediately start in safe mode.
This will allow drivers to update. Restart the computer.
Windows 8 coming in now. Manager displays disk SSD. -

Satellite Pro C870 - 19(d): Windows 10 - BT seems to have problems
Hello
our laptop Satellite Pro C870 - 19(d) works very well under Windows 8.1. Now the tool Advisor Windows 10 registration and upgrade has been installed automatically by Windows Update and it says that the two internal Bluetooth components of this laptop is not compatible with Windows 10.
Currently, no driver updates Bluetooth is available via Windows update driver online or via Toshiba Service Station. Is there a update driver in the near future that ensures compatibility with Windows 10?
Best regards, Hans-Georg
Hi guys, the Windows 10 is not officially released by MS, and currently Windows 10 drivers are not available for all Toshiba laptops.
I think you need to wait that Toshiba would start the support to win 10. I guess that this will happen after the official release of win 10. -
Hi all
I would like to know if MuseWidgets is a service for subscribers of Adobe CC. It seems to be the property of Adobe. I tried to connect today but was unable to do so. Can someone let me know if this requires a separate subscription? Thank you.
This site is just basically an all in one place Gallery of widgets available by third-party vendors. It is not part of the subscription of the CC. It does not require a connection, but a provider you are trying to get a widget of may require a connection, especially if it is a paid subscription site.

I installed creative cloud, but it seems to have problems. Do not load applications
So I just installed Creative cloud on my macbook, but it never seems to work. It keeps loading whenever I want to go to "applications".
Sometimes I'm not able to open the application itself.
Anyone with the same problem? Or what can I do about it?
I spended 1.5 hours to figure out what the problem was... and I tried something.
But it helped me:
Use the CC cleaning tool to resolve installation problems. CC, CS3 - CS6

My computer was stolen. Now have problems with activation
My computer got stolen, so I set up an interim solution where I installed the Creative Suite. Now I have a new computer, but I get activation of the error messages for the Creative on this topic.
How can I disable the instance of my stolen computer? I do not want to disable the instance on the interim solution you until everything is working properly on my new.
I have a police report on the flight.
Since you don't have access to the original computer, you may contact Customer Support to disable and reactivate. See http://helpx.adobe.com/x-productkb/policy-pricing/activation-deactivation-products.html

I have recently accepted a 'auto updae' in order to upgrade my version of 31.5.
Emails can no longer be DELETED... at all.
How can I go back to the previous version of Thunderbird so that I can delete emails once more?Thunderbird is designed such that there are many programs, to separate data from the program. If you have uninstalled Word, you don't expect all your .docx files and .doc to go too, would you?
You can uninstall and reinstall the Thunderbird program and data files (in your profile what is called), remain intact.
https://support.Mozilla.org/en-us/KB/Profiles-TB
However, you can and should make a backup copy of your profile, then you can go back to where you are now if anything it either behaves unexpectedly.

Greetings.
I want to restore my laptop HP 2000 - 2b09WM to factory settings, using a restore disk drive or USB.
Where can I find the disc, iso image or file?
I can't find on the site of HP, although I found it there before.
The best solution is to download an image of a DVD, burn myself.
The next best is to get the HP recovery disk, I can't seem to find it.
Thank you.

Hello
There are two options available.
1. you can order a set of replacement of the recovery media using the link below - it will reinstall the operating system, all the drivers, and almost all of the original software (the exception being often tests of MS Office). They will also recreate all of the original scores, including the recovery Partition.
Note: If the link above does not work (it is not for me at the moment), try calling HP directly.
If you live in the United States, contact HP here.
If you are in another part of the world, begin here.
2 another option would be to download the Image of Windows 8 on the following link - Note this Image file is subject to a ceiling of download, you may need to try over a period of a few hours before the download starts correctly.
https://docs.Google.com/file/d/0B0W9PBigPy94aVJWSndyTFNFMzg/edit?PLI=1
Use an app like ImgBurn ( Note: you can deselect additional software during installation of ImgBurn offerings) to burn the ISO correctly on a blank DVD - a guide on the use of ImgBurn to write an ISO on a disc is here.
If you instead create a flashdrive bootable for this Image, try the free app below.
The product key for Windows 8 is encrypted in your bios chip and read automatically during installation.
Software extra and you may need drivers are by entering your full model number or Nr here.
Kind regards
