  Make sure that you allow the process plugin-container in the firewall, and that your anti-virus is not cause of this problem by analyzing media files.

  Try disabling hardware acceleration in Firefox.

  Thank you for posting.  Vista 64 bit has a 32-bit version of Internet Explorer is installed by default.  You can open it by clicking on the Program Files (x 86) folder on local disk C: your computer.   There should be two Program Files folders.  The "Program Files" folder is for 64-bit programs and the "Program files (x 86)" will contain all 32-bit programs, including Internet Explorer 32-bit.
  Look in the Program Files (x 86) folder to find the "Internet Explorer" folder.  Once inside, look for the file "iexplore" or "iexplorer.exe".  It will be 32 bit IE.  You can click right and creat a shortcut on the desktop for easy access later.
  Using the 32-bit version of IE you will be able to install flash.

  Thanks for the screenshot.  It looks a lot like mine, it's a good start.  I noticed that you use several extensions of Chrome.  Could you try disabling temporarily to see if we intervene?

• Satellite S1410-802 cannot play videos on LCD data projector

  When I connect my Toshiba S1410-802 to LCD data projector and I start all the video (in WMP and other programs) that I see on the wall are black video window but all around is displayed correctly (i.e. desktop and other windows open). On laptop, video screen appears correctly. In summary: I can watch videos on laptop, but when I switch to the projector I see everything except the video (black window)! Any guess?

  I'm not 100% sure but I think you cannot watch video on the screen LCD and the external device at the same time and you can watch it on the LCD screen or an external display only.

  Please test. As far as I know this is a technical limitation.

  I just bought a new laptop HP 15-r011dx with Windows OS 8.1. It runs a lot except when I try to watch videos. When the video buffers, all of the computer freezes, and the computer makes loud noises as the stuttering/chop. He made videos because of how many times it happens. This problem occurs on Internet Explorer and Google Chrome. In addition, my internet connection is fine and I have installed all updates.

  I understand the computer stalls when you watch videos online. I can certainly help you with this problem! To start, here are a few generic troubleshooting covering for your problem-based solutions: Windows 8 stops responding or becomes very slow after connecting to the Internet

  If this does not help, I'd recommend a manual reinstall of the graphics driver:

  1. go into Device Manager, then graphics cards.

  2. right click on the graphics driver and select "Uninstall".

  3. restart the computer. This will force a new driver to write.

  I have a 4540 of Hp ProBook with a Radeon 7 x chip video integrated of series, platform Windows 8.1. When I watch videos with the browser Firefox video adapter fails and the computer sometimes freezes. If I watch videos with another browser I don't have a problem. I went to HP and have downloaded the latest drivers from AMD but still no will. So far, the only solution is to not use Firefox when watching video clips.   Some additional info... If I bypass the Radeon chip, i.e. use the alternate Intel video chip, I don't have a problem.   Yes, for some time now, Firefox keeps the gel my computer while watching videos on YouTube or streams on Twitch.
  It started a few weeks back & I couldn't solve the problem, I changed my Chrome. But I don't like it, so yesterday, I decided to go back to my fav browser: Firefox.

  But my problem is: when I watch a video, my browser always keeps freezing my entire MacBook. It starts with the video just stop but continues to go audio for about 10 to 20 seconds. Then I can't move the cursor and finally the noise dies and nothing does not react anymore. I can not even open the activity monitor, or do something else. So the only possibility for me to come back and do stuff is hard reset my laptop and start again.
  This just happened to me twice in the two last & 4 or 5 times in the last 24 hours... I'd really appreciate if someone could point me to a solution.

  Oh and I'm on OS X 10.10.2 using Firefox 36.0.1 (but this happened also on before 35.x). Hardware acceleration is disabled & flash is on its last version. Cache was emptied several times as well.
