  I have a laptop HP Pavilion DV4000, on what I'm trying to install Ubuntu.

  It seems that a lot of the devices (such as wireless card) has been disabled in the BIOS.

  The bios is password protected, and I can't get in.

  After trying 3 times, the bios screen responds with system disabled with code 10879.

  I tried a few other passwords, etc., but none of them worked.

  I used my laptop HP Pavilion 2000-2120TU since Apr. 13.
  Initially it was without any OS, so installed Win7x32 Pro.

  After that, I downloaded and installed the drivers from the HP site and all features were OK, including Bluetooth.

  Now I have upgraded to Win8.1x64, once again, downloaded all the drivers from the HP website and install them, but the Bluetooth is not working properly.
