  • Persistent and annoying dialog box - how to disable?

Whenever I saw a document in firefox, when I return from Dreamweaver, the following dialog box is there to welcome me:

"This file has been modified outside Dreamweaver. You want to charge? »

I click Yes or no - it does not really matter because nothing has really changed - and get back to work. That gets very annoying after the first dozen or so clicks, so who knows why it happens and how to disable?

In DW, go to Preferences, Types of files/editors and change the selection in

  • Validate form - behavior annoying popup box

We have created a couple of contact forms by using the basic form field validation behavior in DW CS3.  I know that I could do with the Spry tool, but that is besides the point right now.

The problem I have is that the popup box that informs the user that they must complete in some areas is to appear repeatedly until the user attempts to actually send the form - when simply mousing over the fields in the form on the page. I don't seem to be able to stop it, and the behavior is extremely boring. If it's boring for me, it MUST be annoying for the user, and I feel will send them rushing somewhere else. Please, what have we done wrong?

    Contact form

All your form validation actions are

    onmouseover

  • Automation of printing - how remove us the WARNING dialog box?

    Hello world

I'm working on an automated test tool that prints a PDF with Adobe Reader via Adobe supplied ActiveX controls.

I use AcroPDFLib and AxAcroPDFLib in a form of Visual c# with Adobe Reader 9.2.

The following code runs fine and translates the user is warned of this annoying dialog box:

    axAcroReader.LoadFile (fileName);

    axAcroReader.printAll ();

    adobeprint.png

If I select "do not show this message again", this setting is maintained for the duration of this ActiveX control.  However, if I restart the application and print again, I am invited once more with this dialog box.  I use the same user and simply closing and reopening of the application.

Why is it so?  Is there a way to make this setting persist (preference scale of the computer for all users, but I'd settle for persistence by user)?

In my Google search, I came across the following registry setting, which seems to not do anything for Adobe Reader 9.

    [HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Adobe\Acrobat Reader\7.0\AVAlert\cCheckbox\cEWH]
    "iWarnScriptPrintAll" = DWORD: 00000001

This registry key is supported in Adobe Reader 9?  Is there a key that we can install to remove this prompt?  I saw several other posts on this topic, but no resolution that still use the AxAcroPDFLib.printAll ().

    Thanks in advance,

    -Daniel

In theory, it would be possible to provide a registry setting, but at the moment no such key exists.

This control is not designed for automation - it is designed for interactive navigation.  If you want the automation, we have a separate product that is designed for this purpose.  It is called LiveCycle ES and has various components including one for printing.

  • How to stop we show the bar that shows, "additional plugins are required to display all the media on this page."?

    I found this solution (https://support.mozilla.com/en-US/questions/765179?s=ftp & r = 208 & as = s), but I can't make it work.

When I type on: setting up in the address bar, I get the popup saying:

The URL is not valid and cannot be loaded.

And the only available button is OK , that does nothing more than to close the alert window.

This isn't updating the addons. This message appears when it has content Flash on the page. I HAVE INSTALLED FLASH AND I DON'T WANT TO INSTALL IT. Or I want to be irritated hundreds of times a day with this message because I decide to NOT have a hog memory SLOW on my computer.

And, Yes, it is an old computer and a lot of programs are obsolete. I don't have information saying that I should update whatever it is. I just need to get rid of the annoying popup box. The rest I will deal with later.

In fact, it is Subject: config (not the whole word configuration).

  • Multiple reporting of test problems in TestStand 4.1.1

We lack TestStand 4.1.1 and LabVIEW 8.6.1.  We have a vast repository of production and test fixtures, with lots of code-sharing and others.  We build installers for all of our tests and deployments every night with a build server automated.  We have newer versions of the TestStand, LabVIEW, but due to process bugs in TestStand deployment (and installer of construction), we can use them with our footage/projects/workspaces.

We have traditionally been configured to test as html reports, because it is easy to visualize the reports not only on the test set-up, but on any other platform.  The problem is that the html reports are difficult to analyze programmatically.  To do this, you really want the report xml format.  The problem is that the xml reports require a style sheet, and the viewer only, we have learned to work is Internet Explorer.  It's not very portable, especially on platforms.

So we got the mandate to produce test reports in both formats.  I found a thread here describing how in TestStand 3.5.1 and started with the model of update sequence posted in this thread.

    http://forums.NI.com/T5/NI-TestStand/create-two-TS3-5-reports-XML-and-ATML/TD-p/471394/page/2

I need to edit the SequenceModel file, and some mods are also required in the ModelSupport.seq file.  I don't want to change the default settings, so I make copies of the files and specify that my sequences use modified versions.  Thus, the process I use so far goes like this:

    . Copy the file

    C:\Program NIUninstaller Instruments\TestStand 4.1.1\Components\Models\TestStandModels\ModelSupport.seq

    TO

    C:\MyWorkingDirectory\ModelSupport_multiReport.SEQ

. Download SequentialModel.seq from this thread
    http://forums.NI.com/T5/NI-TestStand/create-two-TS3-5-reports-XML-and-ATML/m-p/471394

    . Copy the file to
    C:\MyWorkingDirectory\SequentialModel_multiReport.SEQ

. Open the sequence above in the sequence editor
. under the following subsequences, there the integrated sequence called ModelSupport.seq sequence request.  You must redidrect these calls to use
    C:\MyWorkingDirectory\SequentialModel_multiReport.SEQ

. sequence calls that may be needed are found in
    Test DUT

    Simple pass
Configure the report Options (call to the "Configuration of Report Options")
Configure the Options of SecondReport (call in the "Configuration of Report Options")

    . create the directory
    C:\Program NIUninstaller Instruments\TestStand 4.1.1\Cfg\SecondReportDetails

. Note that the "Cfg" directory is a shortcut to
    C:\Documents and Settings\All Users\Application Data\National Instruments\TestStand 4.1.1\Cfg\

. in SequentialModel_multireport.seq, find references to
    "C:\\Program Files\\National Instruments\\TestStand 3.5\\Cfg\\SecondReportDetails"

    and change them to

    "C:\\Documents and Settings\\All Users\\Application Data\\National Instruments\\TestStand 4.1.1\\Cfg\\SecondReportDetails"

    . There are several references
. Test the DUT-> Get 2 Report Options
    . Single pass-> get 2nd Report Options
. Configure the Options of second report-> Edit Report Options

. After making the changes, check in your main sequence
    . Configure-> second report Options
If the configuration window starts, all is ok so far.

. Change the sequence file to require different model
. Change-> sequence file properties, Advanced tab
    . Model-> specific model required
    . Go to the
    C:\MyWorkingDirectory\SequentialModel_multiReport.SEQ
    . Ok

    Finally, the problems:

    1. normally, when you run the sequence in "Test UUT" mode, when you stop (from the serial number prompt USE), the last test result appears in a pane view in sequence or the test Executive Editor, who ever you happen to use.  This causes a "TempReport.html" file to be generated in the reports directory, and normally, this file is deleted when reject you the report viewer.  This deletion occurs is no longer, and the directory will start to accumulate files "TempReport_0002.html," "TempReport_0003.html".  It is not desirable.  I went looking through the template and related files, but could not find where the temporary file is created or deleted, nor I could find where the viewer within the sequence editor is called.

    2. If the first report is html and the second is in xml format, the resulting xml file can no longer be read or in the sequence of the other editor or test the view of the Executive or in Internet Explorer pane.  The message in IE is:

The XML page cannot be displayed

Cannot view XML input using XSL style sheet. Fix the error and then click the Refresh button, or try again later.

Error running Microsoft JScript 'null' is null or not a subject line = 381, col = 3 (line is offset from the beginning of the sc...

I checked, and there is nothing unique or commonplace online 381.  Column 3 is a space, and the rest of the line contains data used elsewhere and only some ordinary tags.  If the order of the reports is enabled, the xml report is visible in the view report sequence editor and through Internet Explorer.  (In other words, do the first report of the xml file and the second the file html.)  Now, I know what you think.  "Doc, does it hurt when I do this.'" " Well, don't do that! "If it works one way and not the other, use the way that works.  My concern, however, is why the resulting xml data files differ?  If I let this slide, it will come back as a big issue later, after that the memory of how I created this so is cooler?

    3. If I pull up to configure-> Options pane of report in the sequence editor, finish, so don't wait several seconds before pulling up to configure-> second report Options, the editor of sequences often disappears from the desktop.  A few seconds later, I get that annoying dialog box 'Do you want to tell Microsoft about the problem?' that appears when a program crashes and dies.

If anyone has come across this, or how to fix it?  Thank you.

    M

    Hello

I was not able to get the files that you use to work, but I found a model of different sequence on our DevZone page that works for me, trying to create two different reports.  It can be found here:

    http://zone.NI.com/DevZone/CDA/EPD/p/ID/3278

As it says in the instructions, simply change the local variable called 'DisplayedReportFormat' in the file tworeportssequentialv30.seq on "html" or "xml" to change the output type of the second report.  The first type of report is normally configured via the menu.  Also, be sure to change the options of station to use this model.  I have confirmed that it works and that the temporary file is also deleted every time.  I hope this helps!

All of a sudden when I try to boot my system WinXP SP3, I get a 'there is no \DOSDevices\c:\pedriver.txt' to start Win XP with the Windows Log On window. When I click OK to clear the dialog box, and then click OK to log on to Windows, I hear the sound Log ON, but when the sound is done, I hear the sound Log Off and the system returns to the Windows Log On screen, but without"\DOSDevices\c:\pedriver.txt does not exist" on the Win XP startup dialog box.

I slaved the drive via the USB port on my Win7 laptop, then I ran my ZASS virus protection, who come clean, I ran Malwarebytes looking for spyware, which also came clean, so I ran CHKDSK, replaced the drive and it started without the annoying dialog box or the journal the / disconnect vicious.

I have posted a separate Q on this issue.

  • Registry access denied when I right click on a file to copy

    original title: registry access denied

I reinstalled Vista family premium, a few weeks ago and now whenever I try to open certain programs is to say (iTunes, Autocad, MS Office) I get a

    Message: registry access denied.

I also get access to the registry refused whenever I did a right click on a file to copy.

The account I'm logged as definitely is an administrator account. I changed the owner of the C: and all files on my admin account. When vista was reinstalled the installation program was initially assigned the owner as trusted Installer.

I also tried to set up another admin account and I get the same error under this account.

Is could someone please tell me what I need to change to get the stop to receive this error message. Any help would be appreciated.

    Thanks for the reply Rami

I had already made A step.

All my documents, etc. had my account admin as the owner of the file, but when I went in the C: and through the steps of A which was where the Trusted Installer has been listed as the owner.  I had changed it, but he did not set the message boxes to come whenever I loaded a program or trying to copy a file (the program would be the load and copies the files if I clicked ok in the Message box).

I couldn't do step C since there is no restore point to go as I wiped the drive and reinstalled Vista.

Step B - I ran and he has a message to check the log file in c: Windows/logs/cbs, that I didn't have access to read the same file with admin access.

To fix it, I finally just reinstalled vista again and this time I do not get the Message box registry errors when opening programs.  The c: once more the installer of trust as owner, but the rest of the files are under my account.  I don't ' know
What is different, but it works again without these errors of annoying message box.

  • Notification of update won't go away

Periodically, I find a text window small white small (approximately 1.5x0.5 inches) in the upper left corner of my screen, saying: "Dell Update / day/Last is your system scan (date) / Next scan (date)."

The last scan date will be the date of the day, the following analysis will be three days away.  The little window has no border or anywhere to click on it to get rid of him and behaves as if she's not here - if I hover or click it activates everything underneath.  However, because I can't move or do disappear, I can't tell what IS underneath.

As usual, just now, it is obscuring the first 1.5 inches of my Firefox address field, so if I want to see what's there / what I'm typing I have to resize/move the window of my browser (not a negligible amount of screen to lose on a laptop).  This thing will end by itself, but I have no way of knowing when this will happen.

It's really annoying and seems to be a kind of fault in the program, PROBABLY, nobody wanted it works this way.  You can help me find a way to make the thing go away?  When I open the updated Dell and recovery program, it has no useful information, not even a way to follow the updates that I see, I'd rather widely this obstacle little annoying and useless.

    Thank you.

    Mary

    Hello Mary,.

I know that I'm probably too late to help you solve the problem, but I'll still answer my solution for people coming through this forum with the same problem. This solution was found on my Windows 10 operating system and may not apply to the situation of each.

Here is a quick procedure to solve this problem:

    1) click on the button 'start '.

    2) click on the 'Settings' option in the bottom left of the start menu

    (3) in the search box (top right), enter "select icons appear in the task bar" and choose only the search result

    (4) you will see a list of programs with a toggle switch On / Off next to them. Scroll down the list and find "Dell Update", then assign the switch toggle on. (An icon corresponding to the thumbnail next to "Update Dell" will appear to the right of your task bar)

    5) click on the newly appeared icon and select "exit Dell Update. (Small annoying white box should disappear)

I understand that this does not stop the box to appear, but it should allow you to remove it when it seems.

Lately during this annoying dialog box 'feed manually the media' the print appears even when I "Auto select" in the quality of the paper/tab under preferences.  I don't remember doing any chages that would cause the dialog box.  It's disruptive to have to press the button on the printer to print.

Thank you, your answer is right.  And thanks for the quick response.

  • Premiere Pro Audio 2015.3 filter missing

Updated for Premiere Pro 2015.3 and I am missing and audio filter that I had requested multiple clips. I received a message saying - missing Audio filter: 1735550321 1634758764 4:1635083896 the same message appears 4 times. When I open the audio clips, it reads as a filter off line and there is no filter or settings more. Everyone knows the same? I had already worked on the audio for audio project where the client liked it and now miss me the filter.

Tried using chat clients and phone, but it seems that, because of the holiday we help is not available from Adobe.

This procedure worked for me. The error message actually appeared randomly in first 2015. I decided to update (despite being in the middle of a project) in the hope that the missing CAP, called "Complete left internal" should be reinstalled with the updated. However, the message reappears and still appear despite my tracking sheet instructions scan above. What's also weird is that I don't think the filter "Fill right" for use with stereo tracks was used in my project (started by another editor on another system), I have never seen or used a plug called 'left internal filling.' I was assuming that this is another name for the filter "Fill right", but as I think about it, which is not really make sense. In addition, I can still see the filter "Fill right" in my list of audio effects. The turn off to where it has been used in the edition does not restore original channels right, to the left, which leads me to think that once you apply this effect, you can't go back. But in any cause, the effect is still there under the effects controls. If this is a mystery with an annoying dialog box popping up when I start the program.

  • Bookmarking without popup "continue where you stopped last time.

    Hey,.

I've been searching the forums and play with Captivate for a few days to try to find a solution to my problem, but I'm not come with all of the relevant answers.

I am very little inspired by the look of the Captivate default dialogue window that appears when I return to a lesson. Is the one who asks to "continue where you stopped last time.

I have seen proposals on how to change the captions and the colors, but I can't find a way to simply turn it off and do the lesson taken from the place where the user left off. I tried to turn off autocontrolee learning, but this disables bookmarking all together.

I use the latest version of Captivate 9.

    Any help would be grateful.

    Thank you

They will access via an LMS System. After many hours messing around I think the only options available for me should use the TOC frame that comes with the annoying dialog box, or do not use the table of contents and this should enable the LMS to manipulate the bookmarking and auto recovery here where the user left off.

Is that what everybody is watching?
