Large magnifying glass case around cursor

So my problem is that a large rectangle is surrounding my mouse and acting as a magnifying glass.

I tried to go to the settings and make the computer easier to see, but the button to turn on Magnifier is not checked.

So, how can I get rid of this strange box thingy?

Fixed it, I have just went in the Panel and completed the task that says screen enlarger.

  • How to turn of the yellow box with the magnifying glass in there? I hate that I'm looking for another browser to use!

If I highlight a word or accidentally highlight a Word, I get this ubiquitous little yellow box with a magnifying glass or the mention "Loading". I hate it. I have to move the cursor on a blank area, then click to get rid of it. He is quite bored. I'm tired of fighting the browser to do my job! What fool this? I can't find a way to turn it off.

In addition, to help further research, you could paste your list of extensions in response. For this list, the simplest method is to use the support information page, you can open using either:

    • button "3-bar" menu > "?" button > troubleshooting information
    • (menu bar) Help > troubleshooting information
    • type or paste everything: in the address bar and press Enter

Scroll down a little the Extensions section, and then select the table below with your mouse and copy (for example, right-click > copy or Ctrl + c), then paste into an answer here. It's a bit messy, but we are used to it.

  • Green dot on the homepage next to the magnifying glass

    Hello world

I hope you can answer my question, which has been bothering me for quite a long time.

I checked the internet to find answers several times, but without a bit of luck.

On my iPhone of 6 home page, there is a green dot above the magnifying glass, what it means?

The point is present on my two home screens. I looked at other iPhones to people who do not have a green dot.

Check the image to see for yourself.

    Thank you in advance,

I am looking forward to hear from you.

    Hello, m.eklund93

Your friends have the same apps running as you?   If this isn't the case, it would explain the absence on their phones.

I noticed that the Green is the same shade as your 'telepfon' and Beskeder icons.   This could indicate that they are in operation. ?

Thanks for your thoughts on the subject!

    In addition, I've seen,
the problem stops in each content displayed with IE9.

    Sometimes the spotlight seems to work;
    also, in these rare cases,.
the magnifying glass shows only one
    snapshot of the content displayed.
For example, during scrolling, the magnified area does not work.

It was no problem before using IE8.

Maybe somewhere there is a button to change this behavior?

    http://Windows.Microsoft.com/en-AU/Windows-Vista/change-screen-resolution

    Change the screen resolution

Screen resolution refers to the clarity of the text and images on your screen. At higher resolutions, items appear sharper. They appear also smaller, so more items adapted to the screen. At lower resolutions, fewer items adapted to the screen, but they are larger and easier to see. At very low resolutions, however, images may have serrated edges.

For example, 640 × 480 is a lower screen resolution, and 1600 × 1200 is higher. CRT monitors generally display a resolution of 800 × 600 or 1024 × 768. LCD monitors can better support the higher resolutions. If you can increase your screen resolution depends on the size and capability of your monitor and the type of video card you have.

Text and images are sharper and smaller at high screen resolutions
Text is larger and easier to read at low screen resolutions, but images are rasterized and number of items adapted to the screen
    1. Open display settings by clicking on the button start , by clicking on Control Panel, appearance and personalization, clickingPersonalization and then clicking display settings.

    2. Under resolution, move the slider to the desired resolution, then clickApply.

    Notes

    • When you change the screen resolution, it affects all users who log on the computer.

    • When you set your monitor to a screen resolution that it will not support, the screen will go black for a few seconds while the monitor returns to the original resolution

  • Magnifying glass will not die!

Whenever I turn on the computer, I get this magnifying glass thing where my cursor should be.

I tried all the procedures suggested on this forum and others to turn it off, but it just keeps turning on.  It is really annoying and makes it very difficult to get anything done.  Help!

    Hello Chibi2,

    ·         What are the steps you tried to disable the magnifying glass on your computer?

    ·         Do you have any software installed on your computer mouse?

    ·         Remember to make changes to the computer before that happened?

First of all, you should try to disable it from the control panel.

    1. click on start, all programs, accessories, accessibility and accessibility.

    2. click on make the computer easier to see.

3 uncheck Turn on Magnifier and click Save.

If this is already disabled in the Control Panel, you must check the mouse settings if it is enabled.

If you have a Point of Intelli software installed on your computer, you can try to disable the magnifying of the mouse settings.

You will be able to access this setting in the list of programs. Open this software and look for the option disable the functionality of Zoom (magnify).

  • Magnifying glass has messed up

Something weird is happening on my system: whenever the magnifying glass (Magnify.exe), Chrome starts-sometimes just a new window, and sometimes it starts with a url that looks like part of the attempt to start the Magnifier.  This happens regardless of how I run - cmd command-line (with a name full or relative), starting from a cygwin shell, the folder itself, and even clicking on the option "Turn on Magnifier" in the control panel.

A possibly related strangeness is that when I use the control panel to do the above, he (the Control Panel dialog box control) gets frozen for a few seconds, and looking at the event log, I see that the "Windows Error Reporting Service" has restarted.

(Newly installed Windows 7 Ultimate n)

By accident, I managed to find the source of the problem.  (A classic case of a solution after spending a ton of time on it, right after that I wonder about it...)  I will describe it in case someone else runs into the same problem: I've seen only with a magnifying glass, but it is likely to happen with other accessibility features.

The problem was in an AutoHotKey script that I use to do a lot of things, among them, I have replace the shortcut Win + U - and that has caused the problem I've seen: since I bind him to start chrome with the contents of the Clipboard in the URL.  So my conclusion is that Magnifier.exe is not really do something in itself, but rather simulates press Win + U key to start the thing of accessibility and probably use the Clipboard to communicate information of what needs to be done.  (And if this is true, then it is a hack that is so ugly that we can ask for is an example of bad programming...)

In any case, once I found the problem, solving it was 'easy' - I just dropped on my shortcut, because I don't want to take the risk of other hacks to try to distinguish my own uses uses that are the result of the hack above.

Thank you and my apologies for the noise.

  • School network has no ability to sync settings such as magnifying glass, which is faulty

I am a student with low vision school corporation as a whole that uses a system of account in network implementation on Windows 7 Enterprise Service Pack 1 using Desktop Authority 8.1.2.7 ScriptLogic software.  The Magnifier software that you include with Windows 7 do not immediately adjusts the size of the Office in a way that manifests through the rearrangement and reconfiguring the desktop icons and windows when I connect after having implemented the magnifying glass, which I use connected, open as I do.  The development team at Microsoft in charge of the magnifying glass does intend to have the functionality of Windows XP SP3 which automatically reorganize and reconfigure the size and location of the Office windows and icons based on the presence of magnifying reintroduced in a future update to Windows 7 or the magnifying glass?  This would be deeply appreciated because of how I currently have to detach the magnifying glass at the top of the screen, wait a few seconds while Windows 7 finishes connect in and anchor magnify whenever I connect to any computer on which I've implemented magnification so that the desktop computer reorganize its content and windows above so that it can accommodate magnifying glass.  In addition, the settings I have set up my account on a computer do not synchronize above all other computers where I can access my account on the network.  I guess that this happens because our network is configured only to synchronize a folder mounted locally using the drive letter "P:\". "with the contents of the folder"My Documents"in such a way that the latter seems to occupy the former because the former actually creates the content on the current computer.  Others, on the scale of the systemw settings do spread on the network, but it would be useful, particularly in the case of the Magnifier, if spread on all networked computers at my school that I used my account and its parameters.  As it is, each computer that I log on must take a standard image with which it synchronizes my local account data, which must create the first time to connect to that specific computer when connecting.  Synchronize account could be updated to support account settings so built-in to Windows during the next major update of the operating system?

  • How to get rid of the border of the touch control on the magnifying glass of Windows?

I need to be able to disable the border touch on the magnifying glass, as seen on the edges of the picture here.

For some reason any Windows 8 or the integrated Intel GPU not dimensionnera anything on my Tablet (for 640 x 480 games rest in a small box in the middle of the screen rather than stretching to fill most of the screen). Samsung told me it's a Windows 8 delivers so if anyone can help me with there also would be great.

To work around this problem I was forcing some games in windowed mode, then using the magnifying glass to blow up to an acceptable size.

It works fine when I use a mouse, but as soon as I start to use the S-pen supplied with my Tablet (Samsung Ativ Smart PC) those annoying borders continue to flow upward, apparently to show me where I can move around the screen magnification. I want that this turned off, there must be a way to do this? Or as preference for completely disable touchscreen navigation of the Magnifier.

If not, can anyone suggest an alternative Loupe tool that doesn't have these borders around the edges, when I use touch?

    Thanks in advance.

Edit: Is it not the kind of thing that can be disabled in the registry? I had a quick glance and could see no obvious tactile control don't enable the setting, but maybe someone else has a better idea?

I also find the boring border.  Very disappointed with the answers.  However, I came across the solution.  With two fingers, a border on each side, tap, hold, and drag inward. This is.

  • Make a magnifying glass

    Hey all,.

I'm doing a magnifying glass, not a detailed picture, just an icon.  Nelow image shows what I want to do.  I want to turn the dark line of the handle I want to create around the Red axis or draw it way so it appears like a handful. If it's like Rhino 3d modeling software, I have absolutely no problem with that. However, illustrator is what I have to work with.  Useful tips?

    Magnifyiung Glass.jpg

First, make sure that you draw the profile so it lies on the vertical axis and not at the corner, you want to show the finished revolution article.

Then in the window of the effect/3D, show options and select 'Left' (depending on how it was designed)

Turn in place by manipulating the cube (or digital)

Once you press the OK button, if you want to change the angle or other attributes, you must select the profile of the object, go to / the appearance of the window and select "3D look" in the palette to bring up the 3D Options turn again. Just turn the profile itself will cause problems.
