large memory usage can cause the HP 35 battery drain

Hi everyone, I've never had this problem, a friend of mine asked me this?  I said I don't think and these major programs running can consume the battery life, but I don't think that just being stored.   It uses the calculator to convert and lat. on. of UTM, SPCS and vice versa, I think not stored programs would consume the battery life. but he said after loading them several days, that the batteries were dead. My? a what age are the batteries, if one had this issue or problem with the 35 HP s.  My computer is full, with programs and equation., ma is very well, I have two HP33 which are full, and I have this problem, so what could cause this.

Hi!, @surveying101bil:

Please, what is the battery you are using? The HP 35s calculator, supports two 3 volt CR2032 Lithium coin batteries, 3V, 225mAh.

Also, what program use, your friend, for verification.

  • SOUL version CC (2015) large memory usage?

    I use the latest Adobe Media Encoder (9.0.2.2 v, list of the 2015.0.2 of output) in an attempt to encode a Premiere Pro project simple 42 minutes.   It is NTSC widescreen, and I am with any h.264 encoding audio - nothing special.

    Whenever I try to encode, SOUL longs quickly all the 16 GB of RAM that is available and fails due to lack of memory, saying that I need to 'close other applications.'    I closed everything him still, tried to drop the memory setting in the SOUL > edit > Preferences from 11 to 6 GB and nothing stop this behavior.    As far as I can tell it is not even to respect this setting - breath past the 6 GB 'limit' in less than 30 seconds.

    Has anyone run into this behavior, and how can I solve it?   Is this a known bug?

    EDIT: Added more system information

    Windows 7 x 64, patched up to date, 16 GB of RAM, Nvidia GeForce GTX 960 (4 GB RAM graphics) with the driver version 353.30, Intel i5 - 4690 K CPU, nothing overclocked, all stock.

    Have you applied any effect on clips? A similar issue has been reported when the effect "Light" has been used in the project.

  • Large memory usage which slows down to Flash Player

    As shown in the photo, the last Chrome under Win 8.1 uses more than 1 GB of memory. Now, I have no problem with that, as I have 16 GB of RAM. The problem is that the game (Goodgame Empire) is slowing down as increase memory in Flash Player. I guess the problem is, that I have not any limits defined for the cache in memory of the flash player. But how can I do this?

    Cool, thanks for the information.  You have the same problem when you play the game with IE?  It would be useful information.

  • InDesign CS4 bookmarks can cause the same name?

    Hello

    I am a new user of Indesign CS4 and have recently created a 388 pages in PDF with bookmarks entered using the bookmarks of Indesign Panel.  However, in the PDF, I find that if a bookmark in a chapter has the same name as one bookmark in another chapter, then clicking on the first bookmark takes you to the page indicated the second - as if somehow to create the second bookmark has "substituted" the page of the first reference.

    I me assuming that bookmarks have their own unique ID and what to say, with a bookmark called "Economic factors" in Chapter 1, and a bookmark bearing the same name in Chapter 2, would agree.  However, in the PDF I created from Indesign, this isn't the case.

    Please can someone advise?  I'm doing something wrong?

    Best regards

    Sarah

    I played and I'm able to reproduce your results in certain circumstances. I think it is a bug, and it's there in CS5, too.

    I also found a workaround, but there will be a LOT of work in a doc where you already have created bookmarks. As I said, this happens in certain circumstances in my tests, especially when you highlight the text and create the new bookmark and accept the name of the bookmark in the highlighted text. Even change the name of the selected text does not appear to make a difference, at the time of creation or thereafter. On the other hand, so simply, you place the cursor to the location of the text and make a new bookmark, the default name will bookmark N (N is a sequence number) and you can change it to what you want.

    I made two sets of bookmarks nested covering different pages and names them ALL identically. They all work correctly, if my guess is that the bookmark resumes the name of highlighted text, but a number of generic sequence of a plain insertion point and everything is picked up sticks. If you take the same name you no longer have an identifier unique, and that leads to the same problem of destination, but I want to emphasize this is just a guess.

    So that this works, you must recreate the bookmark. You cannot rename.

    I filed a bug on this.

  • My new HP laptop has a tactile mouse that drives me crazy. My documents will always big little to large whenever my hand approached the touchpad. How can I disable it?

    For example, I'm going to be typing a simple document with the size set to 100%. I want to disable this feature. Can you help me? I'm about to go back to my old computer because of this annoying feature.

    Hi Beth

    Because the keyboard is integrated in the housing of the computer laptop, something so simple that the vibration caused by typing can cause the touchpad the cursor or initiate a click, depending on sensitivity settings.

    You must disable the touchpad when typing. Most modern laptops provide an option or a keyboard shortcut to get there.

    The following keyboard shortcuts have been known to disable the touchpad on different systems. Press and hold down the Fn key and then press F3, F4, F6, F7, F9, or F12 to disable the Touchpad.

    Specific instructions, read the instructions for your system or contact the support of laptop manufacturers.

  • How can I check replacement memory is correct for the following laptop:

    I'm considering a purchase in the next 2 months of this device: HP ProBook 4530 s (XU016UT #ABA).  Is there a list indicating the memory that is compatible with this unit of the brand and model?  I'm looking at this particular unit: Corsair Memory - 8 GB (2 x 4 GB) DDR3 SODIMM Memory (CMSO8GX3M2A1333C9 The 4530 comes with Win 7 Pro 32 bit OS, so it will use more than 4 GB of memory.)  Thanks for any help you can offer.  Jim.

    Hi, Jim:

    This memory should work, but only 4 GB will be usable with a 32-bit operating system. You need a 64-bit operating system to take advantage of more than 4 GB of memory.

    When you receive your laptop, call HP at this number below and see if they will send you a W7 Pro 64 bit game of fast laptop restore disks and if you decide to install 8 GB of memory, you can install the 64-bit operating system.  You will need the model number and serial number handy.

    1-800-334-5144

    You can use almost no portable PC3-1333 ECC memory.

    This memory will work:

  • Memory usage of Firefox flies away and crashes despite Reset etc.

    I use Windows Vista and recently, after he tried to update Java and Adobe plugins for Firefox browser last shot every time I use Firefox any open what really but especially if a video is open the memory usage keeps climbing and does not stop. Firefox crashes almost everytime. I tried the Reset, I tried to turn off and so on several plugins and others, and nothing has changed, but that the memory usage can climb higher and avoid crashing anymore. The fundamental problem of the memory usage crazy not stopped nor slowed down.

    It starts at an average use 200 k to 300 k, which was normal, except if he had run for hours or playback of videos for hours could go up to 800 k. For now, thirty minute walk with no video and four tabs is 1 300, 000 k. I don't know what does. I'll try to uninstall adobe and then use an earlier version but I have done so many things at this point, I'm curious to know who else has this problem. I have not tested the safemode, but despite everything I need a lot of these add-ons to what I use my browser for. I do not understand why the use of memory keeps climbing even when I do nothing. I run a system scan for virus etc, nothing. I know that I have an older video, its pilots updated card and I tried to turn on the option acceleration on and out also. Why Firefox would continue eating memory?

    The crash of the reports I receive look like this:
    BP-7cf4e751-66dB-49fc-8a05-083132130814
    BP-b680d967-eee5-44a7-a5e0-c1f422130814
    BP-5b457653-8B58-4ee0-80cc-32fe82130814
    BP-304b8b40-d4e5-4F36-AF10-de58e2130814

    Thanks to anyone who can help!

    Three of the four crash reports indicate a correlation with the Ghostery extension. The precise cause seems to be indeterminate. Can you make an exception for the video sites and see that allows, or try turning it off for 24 hours?

  • On Windows 7, by pressing the eject button on the DVD player sometimes causes the monitors to twinkle

    My PC works fine for just about everything, except when I need to pop in a CD or DVD. It seems random, but when I hit the eject button on the DVD player, my screens sometimes twinkle. It happens about once every 5 times as the button eject. I'm running a dual monitor, with a monitor on a DVI input and the other on a HDMI input. Both monitors sparkle.

    The only things I can think of that can cause the problem are of my diet or my graphics card. My PC has never stopped on me during other operations, including executing some more processor intensive tasks. This seems to be a problem with my graphics card, but why my graphics card would randomly hitting the eject button?

    Windows 7 Enterprise SP1 (64-bit)

    I found the solution to my problem of graphics. Wow, really?

    So after the video driver updated, he set a maximum resolution on my HDMI output to 1600 x 900. That's if access you the resolution settings through the control panel > display > adjust resolution. Is not that how most people set the resolution?

    The update of the driver has replaced the max resolution by default setting, but it can be given via Intel display control panel (no was not yet aware, I had such a control panel). This control panel option is available for the Intel graphics controller hardware. To set the resolution, right click on the desktop and select "graphics properties." Select 'Advanced Mode', and then configure the resolution 1920 x 1080. Once the parameter is committed through this control panel, the Windows 7 Control Panel settings to work as you would expect, and the monitor is the 1080 p display.

    It is delayed. Pardon my French.

    Well, at least now I'm back where I started, IE still has the problem with the eject button causing the dual display to flicker. It happened only twice since the update of the video driver, then perhaps that these events were flukes?

  • Too high on linux VM memory usage

    We have a linux virtual machine that uses so the amount of memory.  It helps to be on a physical server with only a gig of memory, now it's on a virtual machine with 1.5 GB of memory and it is often the sending of alerts that the memory usage is of the order of 90 to 98%.  Maybe something was wrong when we converted to a physical process to a virtual machine?  It runs only Apache 2.0 so I don't think I need to increase the memory.  Everything that I can check, or perhaps something that should be done after the conversion of a physical to virtual machine?

    • Make sure you have installed and after installation script executed vmtools

    • know what process consumes all this memory, you can get this data by using the ps command
      PS - eo mmtp, rss, vsize, args pcpu | Sort - k 1-r

  • Causing the system RMAN backups for not responding

    Need some help here. I inherited a system in which has about 65 GB memory, Linux 64 - bit - 16 processors. Whenever an RMAN backup is performed, else cannot do anything. The load average is about 10 (max). My theory is that it is the init.ora parameters, but not sure... Here's the deal:

    SGA_MAX_SIZE = 47GB
    SGA_TARGET = 0
    shared_pool_size = 5G
    JAVA_POOL_SIZE = 1 G
    LARGE_POOL_SIZE = 0
    db_cache_size = 38G

    I'll look into what I have to change. I just wanted to get other opinions since I inherited a wasp nest and need elements good enough before you can change all the settings. All documents, Metalink, etc that you can provide to support a change in these parameters would be great. Thank you.

    Hello

    You can check http://download.oracle.com/docs/cd/B10501_01/server.920/a96566/rcmtunin.htm

    You can use the formula to set the size of the pool. If you do not install the largest basin of the rman uses memory of shared pool which can cause the problem of e/s/execution.

    LARGE_POOL_SIZE = number_of_allocated_channels * (16 MB + (4 * size_of_tape_buffer))

    Hope this will help you.

    Thank you

  • Battery Drain on the IPhone 6s tried all what my batterery usually lasts a full 24 hours 6 now even not help

    Tried most everything on the IPhone 6s battery drain because I've updated also OS 9.3.2 my battery went from Excellent too horrible will appreciate greatly any help too recti this question

    Have what troubleshooting you tried? First, go to settings > farm and see what app is listed as using the highest percentage of your battery. You may have a blocked process that seeks to complete. How is - what report you? Weak signal will also cause a drain in the battery. Troubleshooting user steps include reboot, reset, restore from backup, restore to factory; tests after each stage. If you get all the way to the factory restore, make sure that you have a current backup of the phone and after the restoration, test before adding additional content to the device. This can help to rule out software problems.
